The stairwell from the bathroom in room seven. The grey chair in the bedroom looks nice on the eye, but very low for comfortable adult use.

The bathroom came on automatically and stayed on for about 10 minutes. That is a problem during the night, as it stays on when you have visited the toilet.

The pool was dirty The stuff seemed a lil slow and we were a bit rushed for check out yet breakfast there was only one person serving breakfast and the tv channels were limited and lastly the menu for dinner was also a bit limited not catering for everyone

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Modern, comfortable rooms. Off street, secure covered parking. The guesthouse had a pool as well as bar and function room. Centrally located in Bethlehem.
The staff were not very friendly, no visible management throughout our stay. Every morning the housekeeper threw away or took all the partially used amenities, so we had to ask for new ones every morning which was not well received by the lady at reception. The shower had no door so the bathroom flooded every time I took a shower.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026It's a cute little room at a nice location. The breakfast was definitely a plus as well. Unfortunately did not have the chance to explore the place fully.
The room had no insulation, for sound or heat. It's a really cold area in the winter, and they would actually save money if they just added some insulation to the doors. We had to run the heating the whole night and it still didn't warm up the room. The room was also quite small and the bathroom sink didn't even have a place for my toiletry bag.

I lost my wallet at the lodge and the receptionist guy was very rude, he called some lady manager who was not cooperative when we requested access to the footage. It ruined the entire trip! I will recommend not occupying rooms that do not have direct access to the cctv cameras and also avoiding rooms that have an additional door inside leading somewhere!

They cannot enforce the no cellphone rules in the breakfast area. If the guests could also respect the no cellphone signage on each table, the breakfast section would have good ambience. With cellphone buzzing and what seemed like social media chaos (in loud cellphone speakers ) happening , it became a disastrous space. Enforcement will help. I would rather lose a guest without etiquette and keep those who are considerate of others to maintain the desirable or excellent standard in the long term.

I found that using the air conditioner for heating was ineffective and caused me to cough frequently. Therefore, I strongly recommend that Perfect Corner Guesthouse consider investing in electric blankets to provide guests with a more comfortable and healthier heating option.

I'm a genius member so I do get a better rate than other bookers . Also it takes many days and numerous messages to get an voice from this establishment.

The check-in staff member was rude, argued with us for 2 hours regarding a booking we made. He wanted the proof although my booking was confirmed. He had the means to interrogate their systems for the veracity of our booking 4 beds, but he did not use this discretion. The manager was unavailable on her phone which was quite curious and suspicious. The rigid time for breakfast did not allow for early morning travellers to have an earlier breakfast, yet the prices include breakfast. We were not asked for our preference.
