Yak Bungalow is truly a little corner of paradise. The beach is very close, making it perfect for relaxing days by the sea. The owner is kind and welcoming, making you feel at home from the very first moment. Highly recommended!

Prima locatie direct achter het strand. Leuke hutjes met een heerlijk bedje. Heb 2 x verlengd. Vanwege bezoek de andere 2 eilanden moest ik verder maar anders had ik nog gebleven. Kom hier zeker terug. Kan gebruik maken van de gedeelde keuken en op de Veranda een zitje en hangmat. Douche eenvoudig maar krachtige straal en lauw water.

Kleine süße Bungalows geführt von wahnsinnig herzlichen, lieben Gastgebern. Toll fand ich, dass es eine Gemeinschaftsküche gab, in der man sich jederzeit Kaffee machen oder Essen zubereiten konnte.

Einziges Manko war, dass direkt vor der Terrasse des Bungalows eine Hecke steht, wohinter sich eine kleine Straße befindet, auf der die Mopeds ziemlich laut längsknattern, aber nachts zum Glück absolut ruhig!

За низкую цену сняли 2 бунгало. Несмотря на то, что домики построены очень просто, там есть все необходимое для комфортного проживания. Душ с летней водой, туалет, вентилятор, балахин и великолепный матрас с шикарным постельным бельём. На меня нахлынули воспоминания из детства, когда родителям и бабушкам давали путёвки на турбазы))) Очень добрые и отзывчивые хозяйка и управляющий. Понравилось, что есть кухня со всем необходимым для приготовления чего угодно! Общий холодильник, где без проблем можно хранить продукты. Мы часто собирались семьей на топчане и завтракали, и ужинали. Не смотря на скромность заведения, здесь царит особая атмосфера, видно, что это место создавалось с любовью и трепетом, вкладывая частичку души... Расположение хорошее, минута ходьбы на пляж, там много хороших кафе и массаж есть. Все супер, благодарим за такой приём! Счастья и процветания вам.

Nothing, avoid this place!

Location, bungalow standard, bed sheets. 2 m from the main artery through the village, where motorbikes go full speed after taking rhe corner at the store opposite, heading down a long straight road, all through the day, and enough to keep you awake at night. Music from 8 to 24 from the store and a bar on the other side of the road from your bungalow. We booked 13 night, but left after 1 night due to only 3 h sleep. Bungalows with fan are very basic, with plenty of cracks for mosquitos to enter. The synthetic bed sheet is making you sweat floods.

I was saddened to be told that Yak had died earlier in the year but overall the quality of the staff now working at the bungalows was excellent

Muy amable la chica que nos ha atendido, las habitaciones no son muy grandes pero para dormir están cómodas. No tiene aire acondicionado pero tampoco nos hizo falta

Bungalow minimalista,letto ,doccia.la natura intorno,a due passi dal mare.la migliore zona dell' isola,le altre spiagge sono già troppo turistiche . accanto al mio bungalow facevano una pizza buonissima.

The bungalows are in a quiet village about 2 mins walk from the beach. A mini mart and restaurants and bars all within walking distance. The owners were wonderful taking me to a pharmacy and bringing me an extra fan when I felt unwell. The huts are basic but for the price very good and comfortable

Very good location, simple rooms but have everything you need. The private patio with hammock and pillow is a great touch. Amazing value for money in a nice small town close to a really nice beach and food spots

One of the southern Koh Chang nostalgic old school vibe places with terrace. Hammock and cushions on the terrace make chilling easy. Clean and communal kitchen available.

The sand road close by you see and hear every person who passes by.

The owner was very sweet. Great to have a kitchen onsite (although it could be more organised). 2 minute walk to the beach.

Everything was fine. Our neighbors and the owner Yak were very friendly... The beach was right behind us. We cooked in the kitchen. We hung out in the common area and on our own balcony.

It would be better if there was a fan on the balcony too...

This bungalow has the best location on top of sand right next to the beach. Minimart a few steps from the bungalow. The bed was comfortable and the sweetest cat with bells came to greet me in the morning. Busy with people walking by, good for casual conversation.

Bring earplugs if you are an early one to bed. There is a minimart a few feet away which is absolutely awesome, especially if you enjoy a drink with some expats. People were up drinking until around 11 or midnight.

Ultra clean room with freshly laundered, sweet smelling bedding and towels. . Comfortable bed with a mattress topper and mosquito net already tucked in. Location is right behind the beautiful Kong Kloi beach just a 1 min walk. Plenty of restaurants and a small grocery store next door. Balcony with hammock and padded seating outside. Can even use the kitchen and fridge behind the bar. Just perfect. Owner: really lovely, friendly and welcoming.

A tiny fridge is always welcome in hot countries but this was a budget room so not expected but would’ve been the icing on the cake! But I jest! There was nothing I didn’t like about the property.

Yak is an amazing host. Everything is clean ,and if we needed anything yak was always very helpful and made mine and the kids stay amazing. I will definitely be back and can only recommend it

Basic but very well maintained and cosy bungalows. Perfect location in the middle of Klong Kloi village, only a short walk to the beach. Yak, the owner is very friendly and easy going. The use of the kitchen is very convenient and there’s a minimart next door where you can get basic amenities.

All bungalows across Thailand have no soundproofing. A few of the nights a kid in a nearby bungalow was screaming until 2 am, motos phasing on the 'road' were loud.

I loved my stay in this well located and maintained little oasis. The village vibe is amazing. Mr Yak is a very kind host. The hammock on the outside made my stay extra cosy. Will surely come back again one day.

That he was fully booked and we couldn't extend our stay at his place.

Quiet low-traffic walking distance to a beach and some good eateries. Staff was welcoming and accommodating.

No response when I contacted after about lost items, though I did see the message was read. Owner or staff and some guests loud socialising at night close to my cabin. No wifi actually available, was instructed to use the neighbour's.

I love this place so much. Rustic perfect sandy beach bungalow. So much I booked extra days. Close to by beach and restaurants. Short trip up the road for more resorts bars ect. Just the tiny beach village 🫶 love love love

Our family spent a week at Yak's and we loved both the whole Klong Kloi area and the bungalows. The "village" is an amazing chill out place with a lovely beach and restaurants. Yak's bungalows might be basic and you will meet all sorts of insects and lizards around but the place has a great vibe. Yak is a tremendous host, with always a smile on his face and ready to help with anything you need. We also liked the communal kitchen where we could make breakfasts and lunches.

Incredible peace. Really good fan and mosquito net. Clean, private space. Hammock. Access to kitchen and washing machine. Nice towels that dry fast (new ones on request). Everything you need just at a base level. Really great, friendly host ready to assist at any time; I needed a light cover for at night because they don’t come standard in the room (it’s very hot and would be a huge bunch of wasted laundry if they did) and was supplied one instantly :) Also Ginger Home restaurant with lots of veggie dishes and a cheap cocktail option just a few meters away!

Not as close to the beach as I’d like but that’s just because I like to hear the ocean when I sleep and the jungle completely muffles it. The cold water only shower was a surprise but the water isn’t that cold and the weather is HOT so it doesn’t matter. The location (Klong Koi Beach) is a tricky one. The closest shops and ATM is a 50 baht ride away and in order to get the same rate back you will wind up having a long wait at the taxi stop in Bang Bai. I didn’t mind this because I figured out how to plan for it, but fair warning - if like me you don’t feel safe relearning how to drive a scooter on these roads ;) Also the food prices are high because almost all the restaurants are on the beach and there is no street food. Also weed is a struggle and expensive. Plan for all these things and you’ll be fine. It’s quiet and pretty.

I'm looking for very quiet places and long term stays. There's small dirt road that bikes and cars driving close to the bungalow and sometimes it can feel a bit intense. For me it was nice for a week.

Short walk to the beach, Yak is a great guy and will do anything for you.

For the cost, you cannot complain too much. But be prepared for a very rustic bungalow, not particularly clean, no screens, you can see the earth through the floorboards. No place to put your bags but on the floor. Hammock on the porch smelled of years of sweat. You have use of the kitchen in the main house but it’s got lots of bugs and not clean.

No hot water shower in the bungalow, only one common dreadful and dirty hot water shower. Bungalows are next to restaurant and dirt road, so it can noisy in the evenings. Frankly, this accommodation is completely overrated with an average of 9.

Yak is a marvelous host. Helpful, generous and good on the BBQ! The bungalows are basic but adequate. The beach is a 2 minute stroll away. Loads of good restaurants within a very short distance. Like having use of a communal kitchen.

I loved the sounds of nature and how peaceful it was to stay here. Yak bungalows has a lovely relaxed host who is very friendly and welcoming. You have use of a small communal kitchen with kettle and fridge. The huts you stay in are compact but perfectly adequate and have comfortable beds. The supply of a mosquito net was thoughtful. Staying here was very much like old style travelling in the Thai islands before everything got grander - and more expensive. The facilities are fairly basic but what more do you need than a roof over your head, a clean cosy bed and a warm welcome?

I liked everything.

Yak the owner runs a lovely friendly bungalow operation, even turning into BBQ King for guests on request. Cooked fabulous white snapper with baked potatoes. The bungalows are proper old school, with good ventilation and a fan. Gecko's come as standard. Beds are comfortable with really good mosquito nets, which allow sound sleeping, bug free.

Yak is a great person!!! Wow we had the loviest and best bbq with him! Loved staying with Yak! Bungalow is simple but clean and everything you need! Right near the beach! Breakfast place around opposite it… perfect!

Super lovely and authentic bungalow. Nothing fancy but build with love. Yak is amazing. The place is quite, the town is like the hippie thai spot on Koh Chang. Loved it!

The bathroom sink broke but this was part of the experience of an old bungalow :D

Lovely little huts just meters from the beach, with private bathroom, super clean and comfy. We loved hanging out on the terrace with hammock and lazy seat, listening to the crickets. Yak was very friendly and gave us some tips for walks and fresh water swim :) Generally this little sandy village was our favourite part of the island

Kitchen was a bit of disappointment, didn't feel much looked after. We ended up eating out all the time, as we were surrounded by plenty of tasty eating options

I had an incredible stay at Yak’s place. The location is great, just a short walk to a beautiful beach. The bungalow is basic, but allows you to really experience the jungle. The best part of the stay though is Yak. Any time I had a question or needed help with something he was right there ready to help!
