Stunning location, beautiful natural surroundings - unique to the island and Tammy and her team go above and beyond to make it a dream stay :) we could not have been happy - it felt like home! We are still dreaming of Bangbao and when we can come back !!

Een hele mooie ligging echt op het strand, we waren in het regenseizoen en omdat de badkamer buiten was, wel ommuurd, kregen we een geweldige update naar een luxer huisje zonder bijbetaling, ontzettend lieve gastvrouw die alles heel goed voor je wil regelen. Een aanrader

L’emplacement sur une belle plage avec du charme et un très bon restaurant juste à côté (Siam restaurant). Les bungalows sont bien surtout celui bord plage que nous avons eu deux nuits avec douche plein air et bruit des vagues à à peine 5 mètres à marée haute. Les autres bungalows ont un style un peu kitsch/retro. Faut aimer. Nous avons aimé. La manageuse est formidable.

Il faudrait prévenir les clients que les taxis ne vont pas jusqu’à l’hôtel. Sauf si on paye 200 baths en plus. Mais le taxi n’a même pas expliqué et nous a déposé à 500 mètres de l’hôtel. Si vous appelé l’hôtel ils vous envoie un scooter Sidecar pour porter les valises et vous devez marcher. Si vous n’appelez pas, vous devez vous débrouiller…

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Schöner großer Holzbungalow mit Blick auf das Meer. Schöner Strandabschnitt mit vielen Liegestühlen. Alles sehr sauber. Es war wunderschön dort.

This place is amazing. Our little beach hut was clean and comfortable with excellent air conditioning. The sun beds and hammocks provided are great and the views are spectacular. Jennifer is a wonderful host.

Pas de coffret de sûreté mais ce n’était pas un problème car l’endroit est très sécurisé .Pas de bouilloire dans la chambre pour se faire un café le matin mais possibilité d’avoir de l’eau chaude à la réception .

Mega-schöne Lage, direkt am Strand und sehr ruhig. Wir haben. uns gut erholt. Das Gepäck wurde an der kleinen Brücke am Eingang des Ortsteils abgeholt und in die Unterkunft gebracht. Das war sehr komfortabel. Wenn etwas nicht ordnungsgemäß funktionierte, kam schnell jemand und hat das Problem gelöst.

È decisamente la struttura più bella, pulita, romantica, rilassante in cui io abbia alloggiato. Non aspettatevi servizi particolari, festeggiamenti notturni o altro, ma è il posto perfetto se volete guardare l'alba, il tramonto, rilassarvi in spiaggia, camminare scalzi sulla sabbia, essere a 10 minuti a piedi dalla foresta. Un vero paradiso per il corpo e la mente. Lungo la spiaggia ci sono un'infinità di locali per mangiare e bere, dietro invece c'è un vero e proprio paesello locale, davvero affascinante. Ho alloggiato nel Sala Bungalow, molto spazioso, dotato di aria condizionata, con vista mare, bagno spaziosissimo. Ogni mattina presto trovavamo due bottigliette d'acqua a nostra disposizione.

Direi nulla, è stato tutto magico.

Odeur désagréable dans la salle de bain par moment. Le prix très élevé pour rajouter un matelas pour notre fille de 5 ans.

Wir wollten überhaupt nicht wieder weg von diesem Wunderbaren Platz. Wir hatten das Häuschen zur Meerseite und es war alles einfach richtig schön. Das ganze Team ist unglaublich nett . Die Lage , der Strand ( meiner Meinung nach der schönste ), das Restaurant direkt nebenan- viel Bäume- viel Schatten …. alles perfekt. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen!!!

L'établissement est idéalement situé sur la plus belle plage de Koh Chang, le personnel est gentil et nous avons eu la chance d'etre dans un bungalow donnant directement sur la plage, la vue depuis la chambre était incroyable! Le lit était confortable Il y a un excellent restaurant (Siam) à 2 pas La terrasse était très agréable avec du mobilier confortable

One of the best stays ever. The beach is one of the prettiest on Koh Chang. Our bungalow had everything we needed, including a functional AC. The staff was so nice and helpful. They organized for us a convienient transport to the airport. Good restaurants are within walking distance. There are laundry services, scooter rentals, massage parlors, all nearby. You should be aware that if you don’t have a scooter or car, taxis are on the road accessible by 5 mins walk on the beach.

Kaunis ja viihtyisä ranta ja oikein ystävällinen henkilökunta ja hyvä palvelu. Olisimme jääneet pidemmäksikin aikaa, mutta varaussivustojen mukaan siellä oli täyttä. Erittäin hyvä hinta/laatusuhde.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, in einer tollen Lage - direkt am schönen, gepflegten Strand. Sehr herzliche Besitzerin und nette Belegschaft.

Ein Kühlschrank würde fehlen zum perfekten Glück. Es gibt aber einen gemeinsamen Kühlschrank den man benutzen kann.

BangBaoBeachResort is imho the most immaculately kept and idyllicly looking beachfront property on Klong Koi Every lovely hut gives acces to all that glory. No crowding and every guest will have a beachfront spot in the shade of one of the trees. I personnaly love wooden huts (and especially wooden floors), eventhough there is zero sound insulation. Lovely staff. Great WiFi. Very reasonably priced. But an electric kettle and mini fridge would have been nice..

No safe?? Half of the wooden huts were not yet modernized with a glass front. (slider panels). These still have the worn out front door with an even more flimsy locking mechanism. It was stated that "there is no safe, so lock when you leave.". It felt even less comfortable being in one of the older units.. Just install safes in all of the huts. No ventilation in the bathrooms, nor a properly directed showerhead? It would not dry out unless the door was left open and the aircon was kept running hard for ages.. Otherwise it will be particularly musty in there. just install mechanical ventilation in the bathrooms.

Ich hätte mir gewünscht direkt vor Ort einen Roller mieten zu können und auch Wäsche waschen lassen zu können. Es ist nicht dramatisch, da ca. 150m weiter ein Rollerverleih ist und auch ein Laundry-Service. Die Lage ist traumhaft, aber ich finde man braucht definitiv einen Roller, weil man ab vom Schuss ist. Das ist nichts Negatives, aber man sollte es wissen.

Il resort si affaccia sulla baia più bella di Koh Chang, secondo me. I bungalow sono sulla spiaggia, il prato è sempre curato, il ristorante è attaccato al resort e offre un ottimo servizio. Ci sono sdraio e lettini da per tutto, il personale è adorabile, sorridente e sempre a disposizione.

I bungalow sono molto datati, almeno quelli dove ho soggiornato io (fronte spiaggia e vista mare). Anche se il mare è bellissimo, l’acqua è stata sempre torbida (non so se è così solo in questo periodo - fine ottobre).

Could not stay longer.

I spent 2 weeks here with my Wife in September 25. The great impression started with the meeting by staff at the Klong Kloi Bridge. This was reinforced by Jebbi the on site manager who went out of her way to assist with delayed baggage, The resort is on the beach with everything needed for a beach holiday. There is a restaurant right next door and other local businesses such as massage and scooter rental within walking distance.

We went in the off peak season.

We really enjoyed our 4 nights. Jebbie is a wonderful host and runs a very well organised clean resort. Rooms are basic, comfortable with great fast wifi. Loved the bed and pillows, both were firm, no waking up with neck pain here. The more you stay here the slower you become, it’s all about letting go, there is no where to rush to which I loved. It’s located at the bottom of the island, 40 mins by shuttle bus. There is motorbike hire available, walks to the water fall, daily swims in the sea, laying around with a good book. Just perfect. Hope this place never changes.

We didn’t really appreciate the smokers, the smoke from their balcony’s when sat outside can drift over to you making it unpleasant at times. Two nights of our stay the resort next door played loud music, the first night wasn’t too bad, Saturday it went until midnight and I wasn’t able to sleep. That hotel should be more considerate of the neighbouring properties.

Loved this place! So quiet and secluded but still plenty to do. Walked straight out of our bungalow onto the beautiful beach. The restaurant next door (Siam kitchen) was amazing and the Rasta chill bar at the end of the beach was exactly that - chill. We loved our stay here.

Only downside was it was a little far from the hustle and bustle of white sands beach. The hills mean you’d have to be quite comfortable on a scooter to get there by yourself, however a taxi in was 200 per person so still accessible.

Property is right on the beach. Adjacent a restaurant serving good food. Jebbe will assist with anything that is required, always calm and happy to help. Her English is excellent which is very helpful. The remaining staff are always smiling and nothing is too much trouble. Staff rating 10+++

The location and room was perfect..

I loved our bungalow right by the sea, it was beautiful! As close to the sea as you can get, you can see the sea from your own bed :) Lots of glass sections connecting the room to the beach, open bathroom, mosquito net (although we didn't see any insects at all). During the day there were some people on the beach on the sun loungers, but in the morning and evening there were few people, a quiet place.

We had the bungalow closest to the sea. It was beautiful for us. But if someone is the type that needs silence when sleeping, they might mind hearing the sea all night.

This is a truly magical place. The staff and owner are exceptional and go above and beyond to help you in anyway you need. The beach is fantastic and you can choose to be in the sun or relax under the natural shade of the trees. There are many phenomenal restaurants within a 5 minute walk. So many good choices that we couldn’t get to all of them during our 3 day stay. If you are vegan, you will be amazed how easy it is to eat in this area! We cannot wait to come back many times down the road. Love, love, love this place. It was a highlight of our three week trip to Thailand.

Simple cabins but located on a lovely, quiet beach with little people around. Some good restaurants available there. A piece of paradise.

Nothing to mention.

Excellent location in a heavenly setting. The staff is always super friendly and willing to help, specially the owner. All rooms have sea views. The quality/price ratio is more than adequate. Although there is no food service, there is a restaurant right next to the resort, with a wide variety of food and drinks.

We have been there several times and our room looks still the same. The pillows are extremely uncomfortable. Guests reserve hammocks and they don't show up for hours, so sometimes we had to sit in worse-located hammocks while the others are empty with the towels. We would have loved to have a smoke-free place.

absolutely wonderful place, very clean, quiet, not crowded. no problem to find free sunbeds. plenty of retaurants within walking distance. make sure you have enough cash, if not you will need to take a trip with local taxi to closest biggest villlage(Lonely beach) to exchange money, as all restaurants accept cash only. wonderful massage on the beach. The place is a paradise. The owner is very helpful and arranged for transfer to her hotel and back to Bkk for us.

Cute resort with spacious bungalows in a garden setting at the beach! Staff is super nice, helpful and they work hard. Next door's restaurant is SIAM and you can get breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks!

BangBaoBeach Resort is the best resort on the south-coast of Koh Chang! The wooden bungalows with airco&private bathrooms are simply good and well organizes in the garden directly at the beach! Lot of shade from the trees if you want, otherwise you can always move the sunbeds to a more sunny spot! Beds are comfy, staff is super friendly and they work hard. Next door is the Siam restaurant where you can get great coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. The beach is nice too, sand only (no rocks) and you can swim easily here!

Nice bay right on the beach. Somewhat dated bungalows but comfortable enough. Jebbie, who runs the resort is delightful, so friendly and goes above and beyond to help. She helped organise a local fisherman to take us to a few islands for the day which was a treat. You can rent mopeds further up the beach. There is a beach restaurant next to the bungalows which is good for breakfast.

The bungalows could do with some modernising.

Best beach on the island in my opinion. If you want a peaceful and serene experience this is the place, everything shuts very early on this part of the island but it’s worth the beauty of the area. The bungalows are an absolute dream, comfiest beds I’ve slept in, the beach is your garden and you can sit on the porch watching the waves at your doorstep. You also get private sun loungers you can sit on and because there are so many trees you can chose between shade and sun. There’s lots of cute hermit crabs in the sand as well. The staff are very attentive and lovely! I was gutted that I’d booked to stay on lonely beach for the second half of our stay because none where as beautiful as this.
