Clean. Spacious. Friendly. Laundry service available which was super helpful. Outside space to eat with lighting. Kitchenette available which was great. Able to get to the secret secret beach to swim even in August from here (photo attached).

The property is in a great location, close to beautiful beaches, Coconut Hill, and other popular attractions. The room also had air conditioning.

The room was very stuffy and had a strong, unpleasant smell.

Surrounding areas are good and also convenient for shopping

Simple room at a very good price and amazing location. Super clean and well maintained property.

Good location just a short walk to the beach. Comfy beds. Good aircon. Mosquito nets which were definitely needed. Simple, small but homely place with nice outdoor area too. Good value for money.

Chambre proche de la plage et des commerces. Chambre assez grande pour ouvrir les valises et circuler dans la pièce. Une cuisine commune était disponible mais je ne peux me prononcer, n'y ayant pas accédé

Absence de climatisation (peut-être était-ce mentionné dans l'annonce mais je n'ai pas fait attention). Faible pression dans la douche (eau tiède)

L'hôte est très accueillante, et le logement est très bien situé. Tout peut se faire à pieds sue Mirissa

Il faisait très chaud dans le logement malgré le ventilateur, il vaut mieux prendre une chambre climatisé

Great Hostel with a very cute balkony! Close to the beach and friendly owner, who allowed us to store our luggage there for the day after check out.

La posizione è perfetta, non sul caos della strada ma comunque vicino alla spiaggia e ristoranti. I padroni di casa sono persone molto tranquille. La camera grande ( noi abbiamo scelto quella senza aria condizionata). Colazione ottima e abbondante.

Letti purtroppo scomodi, con materasso sottile e letto duro. Attenzione a lasciare il cibo in camera perché c'è un alto rischio di formiche.

Alojamiento tranquilo y a 5 minutos a pié de la preciosa playa de Mirissa. Personal agradable. El desayuno se servía en el porche de nuestra habitación, con vistas a su jardín lleno de pájaros cantando y alegres ardillas desayunando fruta que les dan aquí, en el tejado frente a nosotros. En las camas teníamos mosquiteras

Die Unterkunft war super, alles da was man braucht. Super Frühstück. Wir hatten Zimmer ohne Klimaanlage, aber es gibt auch Zimmer mit Klimaanlage. Tolle ruhige Lage. Man kann alles zu Fuß erreichen.

A lovely place!

If I really have to say something, it’s that the room was really way too hot, and even with the fans, the temperature didn’t improve.

We had a lovely stay at the Ancient Tree guest house. Location was excellent - short walk to the beach and restaurants but also quiet. The family who owns the place was super helpful and welcoming. Thank you!!

The staff was great and the location is very quiet. The pool was cleaned every day. The breakfast was good and tasty and the rooms are large and clean. What else to look for.

For the price? Nothing. Take tuktuk for 2 dollars to the beach. Absolutely worth the money.

The location is great very near the beach but away from the chaos of Mirrisa. Lots of places to eat within easy walking distance.Bathroom was good hot shower etc.The room was adequate but would have been very cramped if it’d had the full 4 occupancy. Breakfast was tasty and the owners very friendly.

I know it’s budget accommodation but it lacked compared to all the other places we’d stayed in Sri Lanka. Almost there but not quite.

The hosts were welcoming and the room was clean. It is located on a back lane filled with yoga and spa treatments. The lane leads to a Buddhist temple. There’s a coffee shop at the bottom of the hill, and the beach is opposite this.

We rented a 4 person room, which had two double beds, but unfortunately the room was too small. We didn’t have space to open our suitcases and slide them under the bed. We could only get one out at a time which was really inconvenient because that was the only place we had to store our clothes.

Very friendly staff! The owner helped me with a surprise picknick breakfast for my boyfriends birthday, it was very well arranged. Also did laundry for us. Breakfast was good. Good quality for the price. Location is suburb, close to the beach and restaurants but away from the noise.

The fan in our room was quite slow, and therefore the room hot. However they helped with placing an extra table fan, and then it was fine.

Wonderful Stay – with Family I had the pleasure of staying at this homestay. The room was clean, comfortable, and homely feel. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like kitchen thing and fridge stocked with water, towels, toiletries.

-the staff and owner are very nice, friendly and helpful. They helped us organise a lagoon safari tour as well as a taxi to our next stop -breakfast is great and is served on tables right outside your room -the shared kitchen is handy -hot water in the shower -location is great. Away from the noise of the main road but close enough to walk to

-the wifi is not good at all, and the overall reception in the room isn't the best for mobile data -the non a/c rooms are really hot. The positioning of the fan isn't the best given it's only above 1 bed. So whoever sleeps in the other bed won't get any breeze -lots of trees and greenery around, which means there are A LOT of mosquitoes -above the door is an open grill, so mosquitoes can fly in and out as they please, regardless if the door or window is closed. There are nets but they were useless. Still got eaten alive -the grills also mean that anyone who sits outside will most likely disturb anyone who is in their room, and it also means light shines in at any time. Not good if you're a light sleeper, so better opt for an ac room -although the staff were nice and helpful, it wasn't a comfortable stay, but we managed

Walkable distance to Mirissa beach, Parrot Rock, turtle bay and coconut hill. Lot of restaurants, provisioning store nearby. Shared kitchen is additional.

Amazing location, just off the main road so you don’t get much noise but then still only a couple of minutes to the beach. Place was nice and the hosts were very friendly.

The location is great, only a short walk to the beach, shops, and restaurant. Also a bus stop for Galle is in the vicinity. The owners were extremely nice and helpful, their breakfasts were great, fresh and tasty. Laundry service was a big plus.

The room was a bit small for 4 people, there was hardly enough room for all our things.

Great choice to stay. Don’t think to long. Book it. You won’t find better place, with this location, clean, with proper bed and shower and with such a kind hosts.Great breakfast it’s also worth to mention - we had 4 types of fruits and roti and some bread with eggs, coffee/tea for your choice.

Perfect location, super close to the beach but still nice and quite. Lots of green around! The owners were absolutely lovely and so helpful. The room was clean, big and had mosquito nets. Possibly my favorite guesthouse in Sri Lanka so far!

The host was the kindest, most genuine person. She made sure everything was perfect and taken care of for us. For example, she suggested options for breakfast, but made sure we would enjoy it and be OK with what she was providing us. Additionally, she gave recommendations and explained which buses to take and from where. The location of the home is also very good, it's only a 5 minute walk to Mirissa Beach, and within walking distance to Coconut Tree Hill, Parrot Rock, the centre of Mirissa...

The family who run Ancient Tree are really lovely and warm and welcoming. Our room was spotless and great value for money.

We had a great couple of nights here. It’s very cheap, so doesn’t have many extras but it’s clean and in a great location only a few minutes from the beach. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fantastic.

For the price and the fact that it is right next to the beach, it is very good value. The room was a bit small for the three of us, as we had limited space to place all of our luggage. The owner is a very kind and helpful person. They provide us with a simple, but delicious breakfast.

The host was very welcoming and helpful. The guest house is just 3 min walking from the main road and 6 min from Mirissa Beach. You don't need a scooter if you are only staying in Mirissa. Breakfast was great. We scheduled it flexibel every day. Our laundry was done the first day, and we received it within hours. The fan speed in our room could be adjusted. The mosquito net was definitely necessary and very effective. Our host booked a taxi for us to the airport after 5 wonderful days.

The owner is super kind and very informative. Our budget double room was so clean and comfortable, the bathroom as well. The shower has hot water. We also used shared kitchen and fridge that was very helpful because in Mirissa there are many restaurants with tourist price. We are very satisfied with this guest house. Thank you!

Staff are super friendly and helpful! We had the breakfast which was amazing would highly recommend! Good value for money and the location is great right near surf break! Garden is nice to sit in and relax, overall great stay :)

Fridge didn’t really work

Very welcoming family who cares about their guest. I really liked my room it was big and with a good fan, it's a 5 min walk to parrot rock and the beach. Also enjoyed being able to cook again as the kitchen has everything you need I will for sure come back if I'm in Mirissa again
