Modern room Facility, good breakfast and Host

Beautiful room and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious and generous. It’s just a short walk to the beach, Turtle Beach, and Coconut Hill, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The accommodation was easy to find, and an early check-in was also possible. The area felt safe. I would definitely book it again.

De kamer was perfect. Mijn vrouw en ik vierden ons eerste huwelijksjubileum en dat werd door de gastheer samen met zijn vrouw serieus opgepakt. Onze hele kamer was prachtig versierd bij binnenkomst en we hadden zelfs een upgrade gekregen. Het verblijf is schoon en netjes en de mensen zijn ontzettend aardig, ze staan altijd voor je klaar.

Really lovely property, we had such a warm welcome and great communication from the host. The room was lovely and clean with a huge balcony and it’s really close to everything we did during our stay, including some great restaurants and viewpoints. The beach is basically on the doorstep! The host organised a whale watching tour for us straight away and showed us around town in his tuktuk with so many useful recommendations! The breakfast was also delicious. Would definately recommend - the kindest and most helpful host!

Madhu and his family ( wife, kids, mother, father) they provide all the help . Specials local breakfast made by the wife and mother ( Curry drink that is good for the health). One wifi that works ( not that one you connect and after say there's no internet connection). So local service with a personal touch as i looking for.

We had an amazing stay in the Bisandu guesthouse! The room had a great size, was very new/modern & the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was also great, a perfect mix of Western & Sri Lankan dishes. Our host was very kind & communication was very easy. He was there for us all the time and also organised the transport to the airport for a good price. Thanks a lot for the great stay!

We hebben hier een fantastisch verblijf gehad! De kamer was mooi, schoon en voorzien van heerlijke bedden en een fijne douche. De locatie is ideaal: op loopafstand van alles, maar toch gelegen in een rustige straat. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en erg lekker. De eigenaar is ontzettend vriendelijk en doet er alles aan om het verblijf zo prettig mogelijk te maken. Omdat wij pas laat in de avond onze vlucht naar huis hadden, heeft hij alles perfect voor ons geregeld.

Wir waren 4 Nächte dort und sind mehr als zufrieden. Unser Gastgeber war sehr nett, er hat uns zu unserer Wunschuhrzeit jeden Tag Frühstück gemacht. Tee, Obst und ein Ei gab es immer, der Rest war jeden Tag verschieden, sehr lecker und vorallem viel. Das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich, auf Wunsch hat unser Gastgeber zwischendurch geputzt und frische Handtücher bereitgestellt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch das super Wlan. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Super liebes Ehepaar, die das Gästehaus gemeinsam betreiben. Wir hatten ein tolles großes Zimmer mit schönem Bad! Haben ein sehr leckeres Frühstück gehabt und gute Tipps vom Besitzer bekommen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt!

Breakfast was a feast! Lots of choice and delicious. Rooms were very comfy, showers good. Madu was so helpful, finding us transport and advising re things to see Set back from the main road so very peaceful. Would definitely recommend staying here - just cross the main road to the beach

Очень понравился отдых в данном отеле. Чистый номер, отличный душ с горячей водой, балкон с частичным видом на море. С балкона по утрам и вечерам слышен шум волн. Гостевой дом находится в 3 минутах ходьбы от пляжа. При близости главной дороги не слышно ее шума. Расположение такое, что удобно дойти до любого из трёх пляжей в этом месте. Очень доброжелательный и отзывчивый хозяин Маду и его семья. Здесь подают вкусные и сытные завтраки, в то время которое удобно именно Вам(по предварительному согласованию). Мы завтракали в 10:30 утра и этого сытного завтрака нам хватало до вечера. Так же сразу можно купить питьевую по выгодной цене и договориться с Маду об индивидуальных экскурсиях. Он во всем всегда и сразу готов помочь , если возникают какие либо вопросы.

Madu was a fantastic host and really helpful and welcoming. The rooms were spacious, clean and perfect for what we needed, by far the nicest rooms we stayed in during our travels around Sri Lanka! It’s a great location off the main road but close to the beach for snorkelling or surfing! Would recommend staying here! Thank you!

Solide Unterkunft und nette Gastgeber. Die Lage war wirklich super allerdings war es recht hellhörig und früh morgens waren schon viele Geräusche. Das frühstück war nicht ganz unser Fall aber ist ja Geschmacksache. Die Gastgeber haben sich viel Mühe gegeben und alles in allem war es voll okay. :)

Sehr große und saubere Zimmer. Die Gastgeberfamilie ist sehr freundlich und unterstützt bei allem. Es gibt auch einen Wäscheservice. Das Frühstück ist wirklich sehr lecker und sehr viel.

This is the best place I have stayed during my month in Sri Lanka. I had an excellent stay with Madu and his family, who are not only genuinely kind people, but also very helpful – for example with airport transfers and when I wanted to come back and stay with them again. The guesthouse is located away from the main roads, so it’s peaceful and quiet, yet perfectly situated in relation to the beach, massage places, etc. you can see the sunset from the balcony. I stayed here twice, and both rooms were spacious, bright, and very clean. There is also hot water, air conditioning, towels, and everything else you might need. A delicious breakfast is served as well. I can highly recommend this place to others, as it feels both safe and very cozy, with a really good atmosphere. I would absolutely return here myself.

Останавливались в этом отеле недавно и остались в полном восторге. Хочется отметить идеальное соотношение цены и качества — здесь есть абсолютно всё для беззаботного отпуска. Плюсы, которые мы оценили: 1. Чистота и комфорт в номере. Номер был довольно чистый, убирались хорошо. В наличии оказались все необходимые мелочи: работающий кондиционер (спасал в жару), удобный фен и даже респиратор от комаров — очень продуманно со стороны отеля, мелочь, а приятно. 2. Питание. Завтраки действительно вкусные и сытные. Голодным точно не уйдешь. 3. Расположение. Это просто сказка! До пляжа идти около 5 минут спокойным шагом. Сам океан и пляж очень приятные. Вокруг открываются красивые виды, а рядом много уютных и вкусных заведений, где можно покушать. Общее впечатление от отдыха — отличное. Чувствуется забота о гостях. Очень рекомендуем этот вариант всем, кто ищет уютное и удобное место для отпуска!

Excellent host and wonderful breakfast! Very friendly, welcoming and honest host. Would definitely recommend when staying in Mirissa. Good contact to whale watching firms.

Madu and his family were exceptional hosts. Madu was friendly, very helpful and had excellent contacts for tours, drivers for remaining legs of our holiday, etc. Manu went out of his way to ensure a perfect stay. Breakfast each day was wonderful and plentiful. The beach, restaurants etc were all very close by. Very good value for money!

It was the best experience in Sri Lanka. Clean room with all you need. The owner (Madu) and his family like a present from life). He was ready to help you all time. A plus, that he has a tuk-tuk and gave me the best prices on it. You can order super breakfast for the best price and his mother and wife will cook it with love😌 For my opinion very cool location! It’s one step to the ocean and bus station, but it is in silence. I don’t know how it works, but you can be confident you will have good sleep here. Oh! And of course, badora spa opposite your door. What can be better ? I wish Madu and his family many good guests and all the best!

I liked everything very much. Good location and clean neat room with everything you need. Very hospitable owner and his family. Helped me with renting a bike at the best price, and also found comfortable accommodation for my parents and friends. There is a massage parlor nearby. It's a couple of minutes to the beach, across the road you can buy good fresh fruit. There are also many local cafes around.

Loved bisandu guesthouse. Clean, fresh, fridge, lights and plugs by bed, good air con, lovely cotton sheets, big comfy bed, hot water. Little area to sit outside. Nice breakfast especially the Sri Lankan version. Lots of fresh fruit. Minutes from the beach but far enough to be away from the noise. The area is like a little community with other good family guesthouses around, laundry services and Yummys restaurant which had delicious reasonable priced food. The family and host Madu were brilliant. Madu Helped us with advice, trips and even taxi to next place at the best prices. very trustworthy and reliable, would help with anything you need. Would definitely recommend.

Only that we would have stayed more nights but it was booked up. However Madu helped us to find a new place at his uncle's up the road at a great price.

The host Madu is really nice, he helped us with everything, he was fair and flexible, also an absolute sweetheart! The room was spacious, comfortable and clean, the bed is big and comfy. The accommodation was clean, the bathroom was nice, the bed was big, too. It has air conditioning and a refrigerator. The breakfast was delicious, especially local fruit. In the morning you can see monkeys. The beach is about 150 meters away. The host is great, he will take you by tuk-tuk and help you with excursions. I have nothing I didn't like. I will definitely come back here again.

High rating of this apartment on Booking exactly correspond with reality.The owner is very nice young guy who really takes care of his guests. The room is properly clean,there is lots of space for the luggage, bathroom is big and water pressure is good as well.. On top of it the location is excellent-it is just 100m from the bus stop,few steps from the beach and from many restaurants, but at the same time it is very quiet,you cannot hear any noise from the main road. The breakfast is big and delicious with a lot of fresh fruit (really a lot!).If we return to Mirissa,we would book this apartment for sure again.I recommend it to everybody.

Bisandu Guesthouse is a perfect location for your stay in Mirissa! From the moment we arrived, the host, Madu, welcomed us and made us feel at home. The room is perfect and has all the amenities you need, from a nice big bed with air conditioning to a little desk if you need to work and a large bathroom. The breakfast is freshly cooked every morning and is delicious. Definitely a big add to the stay ;-) Madu is a great host, he even brought us to Weligama for a surfing lesson in the morning, gave us lots of tips on what to do in the area (and where), and arranged a driver for us to go from Mirissa to Colombo (with a stop in Galle). 100% recommend staying here!

For our liking, the beds were a bit hard, but we are picky haha. Wifi could be spotty at times, but overall worked great. Other than that: the stay was fantastic.

Very kind family. They always helped us in everything we needed, including in the last night we had to go very early in the morning to yala park and they prepared us a very good breakfast to go! They really care about their hosts! The location is perfect too. Highly recommend!

Bisandu is a lovely guesthouse. The room was very clean and comfortable. I work online, and my room had its own internet modem with very good signal strength, so I was able to work easily. The owner is very friendly and extremely accommodating. The local Sri Lankan breakfasts are prepared by his mother, and they are delicious and very filling. It's right across the road from Turtle Beach, which is great for swimming. Mirissa Beach is 5 minutes away, with lots of good restaurants and bars on the beach.

This room was one of the nicest places im which we stayed during our trip in Sri Lanka! It was very clean, everything worked properly (A/C, fan, shower...), and the bed was very comfortable. Madu was a great host, he is very kind and always happy to help. He has a tuktuk and he dropped us at Weligama (for a surf lesson, which was a lot of fun!) and he also took us to the bus station in Matara on our last day. The breakfast was also delicious!

Madu was an excellent and very kind host, he was very helpful and flexible. The breakfast was outstanding, home cooked by his mother! The room was very clean and quiet, a little away from the busy street but still a good and central location. And Madu is even a tuktuk driver too, so he can bring you anywhere you want! Definitely recommend!

The owner is great, helpful, good man. Room was nice and tidy, bathroom spacious. They are offering tasty breakfast with variety of amazing local fruits. And he took us by tuk tuk for the bus to Matara and helped us find our bus to Tangalle. Thank you for everything.

Madu and his family gave us 4 wonderful days in Mirissa. It's a nice place because it's quietly located and yet very close to the beach or restaurants. There is also an excellent massage/spa opposite which we can also recommend! The breakfast was delicious, the air conditioning and the fan worked perfectly. Madu took care of everything lovingly. He is a great person and perfect host! He also drove us to our next accommodation in his tuk tuk. We can recommend the accommodation 100% and would come back at any time! This homestay is the best we have ever experienced. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable with brilliant air conditioning and a fridge which is very handy. The free breakfast was incredible and we couldn’t believe that it was included in the price of the room. We even had some monkeys come and say hello whilst enjoying our pancakes! The family that run this are such kind and hospitable people and we can’t thank them enough for such a lovely stay.

Really lovely host and excellent room which has been recently redecorated - modern and clean, good AC, with a large bathroom and plenty of hot water! Excellent, enormous breakfast provided by the host including hoppers, milk rice, toast, fruit, tea, string hoppers and more. Property is located up a quiet road but is super close to the main beaches and attractions in Mirissa.

Bisandu deserves 20 stars! It is excellent value for money. Our host, Madu was so attentive, kind, funny and helpful. He helped us in every way, from providing transport in his tuk tuk wherever we wanted to go, helping me to fix my phone, helping us get train tickets, lending us an umbrella, going out and buying milk so we could have milky tea and in many other ways. The accommodation was spotlessly clean but Madu still offered to clean for us again. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious and Madu's wife is an excellent cook. The bed was very comfortable and there were no mosquitoes thanks to the net around the bed. The shower works perfectly. Water pressure is good and hot water never runs out. There are plenty of power points and also good lighting for those of us who wear some makeup. All the facilities such as re kettle, fridge and air conditioner work very well. One morning I woke up to a baby monkey looking through the window, so very cute. Mirissa is a lovey place to visit. Madu took us to turtle beach where we swam with turtles and to a snake farm that, despite my being very scared, was very good and I highly recommend going. Madu many thanks for making our stay so enjoyable. Many thanks also to your wife and wishing you good health and happiness and to your wife, son and new baby that is arriving in the future.
