Heel leuk verblijf in een soort jungle tuin. Kamer is niet heel groot en het bed was wat hard, maar de locatie, het vriendelijke personeel en vooral het ontbijt met je voeten in het zand maakte dat ruimschoots goed.

Die liebevoll hergerichtete Anlage hat einen zauberhaften Charme und die Zimmer sind sauber. Und wurde bereits am zweiten Tag die Reinigung des Bads angeboten und wir konnten jederzeit nach frischen Handtüchern fragen. Der Besitzer und seine Angestellten waren sehr hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend und unterstützend!

Die Angestellten wahren sehr nett.Es gab ein Problem zwischen zwei Turistengruppen durch die Wachsamkeit des Personal und der Professionellen Art wurde das Problem gelöst

Das Zimmer ist eher eng .Am Strand ist es am Nachmittag sehr windig das Meer hat ziemliche Wellen .

Het was een heerlijke schone kamer in een oase van rust. Het personeel was super open en vriendelijk en we hadden toegang tot het strand op 20m afstand inclusief strandbedjes. Ook faciliteerden ze strandhanddoeken en het heerlijke hangmatje. We hebben genoten van jullie plek en lieve personeel, bedankt!

Wir hätten uns gewünscht, dass Strandhandtücher im Zimmer bereit gelegt werden zur Ankunft.

Vicinissimo alla spiaggia, offre molti servizi, camera pulita e personale gentile e disponibile.

Heel sfeervol dicht bij het strand en de straat met winkeltjes en restaurantjes. De eigenaren waren zeer behulpzaam. Schoon, goede airco. Alles top !!!

The hotel is great value for money! We first stayed at the property just in front of it (they are connected via a small gateway) but moved to this one after two nights because it is cheaper but offers the same service. The owner is taking great care of his resort and also offers laundry service which was perfect for us. We slept in a cabin with a private bathroom. It is cozy and has everything you need. The resort is super close to the beach which makes it extremely convenient and our surf school was right next to it. The shopping and restaurant street is also very close by. So overall, I can highly recommend staying here!

Perfect location, just a few steps from the beach. A cosy little room with a hammock and seating outside, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the warm breeze. The host was incredibly friendly, recommending surf lessons, great breakfast spots, and always happy to help with anything. A beautiful place to stay. I will definitely be back!

Unser Host war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, wir haben uns direkt sehr wohl gefühlt. Supper Location, schöne geräumige Zimmer, gutes Frühstück.

Everything there was nothing not to like , very close to beach & a good coffee shop around the corner . Nayeem the bossman was very helpful & accommodating . He arranged a scooter for me , I had an excellent stay there . I’m a travelling DN so needed good WIFI , again no complaints in this regard .

The amazing location, on the quieter end of arugam bay but only a 5 minute walk to great bars and restaurants. Amazing beach 1 minute away. The rooms were nice and we enjoyed sitting outside.

We were given two bottles of water to start with which we assumed were included in the price, the staff member who was there daily offered us water each day, we accepted one bottle. Upon checkout, once we paid for the room he asked what we wanted to pay for the water, we asked how much it was and he just asked again what we wanted to pay. We just found the situation a bit odd, we were happy to pay for it but it appeared the water may have been included and he just wanted the cash. The staff member also told the manager that we declined to have our room cleaned, however, we were never asked if we wanted our room cleaned and likely would have accepted this.

Really nice private rooms with hammocks, great air conditioning and WiFi. The host was very helpful and attentive. A laundry service is also offered.

A great hotel located very close to the sea. The staff are friendly, professional, and always ready to help. All essential amenities are available, and the rooms and facilities are kept very clean. I had a pleasant stay and would recommend it to others.

Great experience in this guest house. The owner was extraordinary helpful! Organising multiple and easy . The rooms are simple but clean. Ac working well. Good WiFi and breakfast simple but good, incl fruits.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is unbeatable- practically on the shoreline. The room was spacious, very clean, and everything functioned perfectly, including the AC, Wi-Fi, and all the power outlets. It’s a very quiet spot, and the hammock out front is the perfect place to chill. A special thanks to the staff, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and always available whenever I needed anything. Highly recommended!

Die Zimmer könnten eine neue Ausstattung gebrauchen- aber das ist eher ein Luxus"problem.

Lage ist super nur 1min zum Strand und man ist zum Abendessen direkt an der Straße mit allen Restaurants. Zimmer mit Hängematte und kleinem abgetrennten Terrassenbereich.

Die Unterkunft hat keinen eigenen Strandabschnitt anders wie beschrieben.

Very clean triple room and shower with excellent water pressure and bathroom dried quickly. AC worked fine. Nice terrasse to sit outside. People very friendly and helpful. Even got tea/coffee when ever we wanted, thank you, very much appreciated. Beach towels available.

Intet varmt vand i badet. Gammelt og slidt. Meget lille værelset, tasker måtte stå på gulvet. Hård seng. Intet køleskab. Vinduet på badeværelset er blot et hul i væggen, så der kan komme insekter ind og der bliver meget fugtigt.

Le logement est fonctionnel, avec clim (indispensable). Petit dej convenable. Nous n’avons pas eu beaucoup d’interactions avec le personnel qui ne parle pas très bien anglais mais qui était gentil. Assez bien placé pour la ville et les plages.

Cette hôtel (« resort » c’est un grand mot, il y a 6 chambres dans une petite espace) est très chère pour les prestations proposées mais j’ai l’impression que le mot « surf » rythme avec « € +++ » à Argugam Bay.

Super Lage, 30 Meter bis zum Meer, aufmerksames und hilsbereites Personal, die Zimmer liegen in einem idyllischen Garten und haben alle eine kleine Veranda. Besonders liebenswert ist der Manager. Hat uns die Lagoontour organisiert, Scooter vermittelt und das zu absolut fairen Preisen. Nochmals herzlichen Dank.

Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet. Nur 50 m bis zum Strand. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und die Terrasse mit seinen Hängematten lädt zum entspannen ein. In nur 2 Minuten ist man an der Hauptstraße, wo zahlreiche Restaurants und Geschäfte zu finden sind.

Einzig einen Kühlschrank haben wir vermisst.

The stay is along the beach. You can hear the sound of sea waves while sleeping, so magical. Host was very helpful. Stayed two days there. Clean and spacious. Totally recommend.

Really nice place to stay in Arugam Bay. The hotel has a nice ambient, beautiful garden. The owner and the staff are lovely and very helpful. We had good chats and they help us in any way we needed. The room was clean and nice, just like the bathroom. It has a very good value for the price. AC works fine and there is a ceiling fan as well. The beach is just the end of the street, 50 meters. There are many good places to eat nearby.

Kind owner and staff, great location and very confortable room

Had a great stay at Beach Cap Resort! The room was clean, comfortable, and came with strong air conditioning – perfect after a hot day at the beach. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and the host was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend for a chill, hassle-free stay in Arugam Bay.

The bed is really huge and comfortable with a mosquito net, the AC in the room is working good and the bathroom was nice. Everything was clean and it was all decorated with a lot of love. In front of the entrance there’s also a place to sit outside or lie in a hammock. Nayeem the manager loves gardening and has a lot of different plants outside. We felt really welcomed from the beginning. Nayeem’s kindness and generosity is overwhelming! Also Ashib is very very kind! You can use the kitchen as well! The place is situated very good, you’re near the beach so you hear the waves breaking from the room and you’re near the Main Street (restaurants, markets, shops) but no too near so you don’t hear all the noise. We would definitely come again!

Perfect location right by the beach and in town (far enough away from the noise but still extremely close to restaurants etc). The hosts are lovely and so laid back, helping with anything and organise things as needed. Comfy beds and good AC.

The property is located right by the beach. Very welcoming host and very helpful. We arranged a Safari through Beach Cab resort as well. The room we had was super clean and the bed sooo comfortable. Even if Breakfast is not included we got offered a coffee every morning. I really recommend Beach Cab Resort for your stay in Arugam.

An overhead fan on the personal patio space - either the ground level or balcony - would make sitting there more comfortable.

Hidden down an alley up the northern side of Arugam Bay is Beach Cab Resort, a cosy little place right next to a good section of beach. The staff here are very friendly and let us check in the early hours of the morning. The garden around the cabins is well kept and you can see butterflies and native birds around. The AC is also very good and will chill the room very quick.

Loved it all. Would stay here again. Very helpful staff for finding surf lessons and safari. Lovely clean rooms too and right on the beach!

My stay at Beach Cap was fantastic the staff really make this small hotel amazing. The friendly staff provided an excellent laundry service and will make the best coffee in the morning they have become close friends because of the way they are and their hospitality. Nayeem the manager runs the accommodation very well and will even take you excursions to see elements and crocodiles. The local Tuk Tuk driver Mauna would go out of his way to take you anywhere you want at a very reasonable price even for a morning surf at 4:30 am The room was excellent with a large very comfortable double bed, good air conditioning and its own private en-suite shower room that was very clean. There is also a private courtyard attached to each room with a hammock coffee table and a few chairs I can put my hand on my heart and say that this is the very best place that I have stayed ❤️

Nothing to dislike

Good location, nice small garden, own hammock patio. Great breakfast. The room had hooks for hanging clothes, good fan and decent ac. Host was helpful, and very nice guy.

The garden space was bit smaller than we had though based on the images, and other quests had their patios very close to ours, not much privacy. Even the other quests just discussed on normal voice level, all could be heard in the room. But not a big deal.

We had a great stay at the Beach Cab Resort! The accommodation is just a few meters from the beach and has a small terrace. The room was very clean and we felt very comfortable there. The host was great and helped us with everything. The breakfast (which we booked additionally) was freshly prepared and varied daily. All in all, this was one of our best accommodations in Sri Lanka!

Our stay at Beach Cab Resort was brilliant! It is right next to the beach and the room and facilities were really clean. Our host was also able to repair my backpack and to arrange our travels back to Colombo. Highly recommended!

We checked in for two nights but prolonged for 10 nights because we found this to be one of the best places in the bay. The location is calm but close to main street with all the restaurants etc. The owner is very courteous and we were happy to stay here.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The outside area is relaxing with private chairs, a table and a hammock. The staff is really friendly and they clean the area the whole day so everything is very clean. We would stay here again :)

Good location right at the beach. Comfortable bed and really convenient mosquito net. Also, modern A/C which was super quiet. We also enjoyed the hammock and the little veranda!

Overall, the interior of the cabs is rather functional and a little outdated. Coming from the South, we paid more than we did for modern rooms there. We had some stains on our bed linens and the rooms were rather dark (you always need lights inside).

Proximity to the beach was great. There was always somebody around to help if we needed anything. It was useful having a shared kitchen to make cups of tea during the day. The room was clean and they changed the bed and towels every few days.

The room was very dark without the door open. We also had issues with noise late at night and early in the mornings - perhaps worse because we were in the room right next to the reception area. Value for money was poor compared to all other places we have stayed in the country.

The owner is incredibly kind and helpful! Lovely location - close to town but still quiet at night. Rooms are a nice size with air-conditioner and fans. Really enjoyed my stay here :)

Very well equipped (AC), comfortable little rooms close to the beach. The whole are is very well taken care off, even my room was completely cleaned once for free! Staff is nice, friendly and chatty!

There is no social area, where people from different rooms can come together. That’s a bit sad if you’re traveling solo and want to hang with others.

The room is big and comfortable, very clean. the stuff cleans the shared areas every day, and the private rooms by request. The stuff is very nice and polit! The resort is the closest to the ocean - I can literally here the ocean from my hammock, there is a private hammock for every room! I used the laundry service it was good, also fair price (compare to the town). There is an AC in the room. Its not too close to the city - and not too far, every thing is so close so you can get there by 2 minutes. and I like that distance! So you don't here the parties and firework during the night... Great WIFI! and a digital nomad and I could work from the room - there is also a table for the computer!

You can ask from the host every service you need- but some of them aren't available at the guest house, for example - board renting. There is only one shower tap - So you cant navigate between cold / hot water. although you have hot water all the time!

Internet not great but that was prb because we were furthest from reception.

Hot shower, fan, mosquitoes net, if you need here is also an air-conditioer, comfortable bed, near ocean, kitchen, fantastic place! Silent palce! If we came back to Arugam Bay, we definitely took this room!
