Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Die Lara und das Preisleistungsverhältnis sind hervorragend. Man muss sich aber bewusst sein, dass die Zimmer sehr alt sind und man jede Bewegung des Zimmers nebenan mitbekommt.

Nous avions une baignoire douche dans la chambre mais les toilettes à l'étage. Nous aurions préféré le contraire mais nous étions avertis donc pas de soucis.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026周日晚上七点到酒店，酒店发的信息里没有钥匙放哪里的图片，而且也没有发信息是哪条钥匙的房间，前台没有工作人员，整栋大楼没有人应门铃，也没有人进大楼。打酒店电话是不通的。一个小时后终于找到钥匙箱，上楼后终于有其他房客也回来了，忐忑的心情才放下。又过了半小时，工作人员说我不是住那个房间，我说酒店信息里没有告诉我具体房间号。但住宿整体环境和卫生还是比较舒适的。

Puh, also wer auf Abenteuer steht, kann das gerne buchen...es fehlte in dem Haus nur noch die Adams Family. Ich hatte extra ein Zimmer mit eigenem Bad gebucht, dort war lediglich eine Badewanne, wo der Siffon, richtig ekelhaft war. Toilette musste man sich dennoch mit den anderen teilen Das Zimmer war mit vielen Spinnweben, sowas schmuddeliges, unsauberes würde ich mich schämen anzubieten. Sehr hellhörig, du hörst alles, wenn jemand auf die Toilette geht, duscht, den Wasseekocher anmacht, morgens um 7 Uhr, das war für mich absolut kein Urlaub, da nützen auch keine Ohrstöpsel. Einen TV gibt es ebenfalls nicht...aber vielleicht hätte ich hier vorher mal alles lesen sollen...Das Haus von außen in die Jahre gekommen, man schreibt derzeit wird hier renoviert, da wurde gar nichts gemacht. Man sollte noch für diese ganze Ruhestörungen 8 Franken hinterlassen, das habe ich gemacht. Aber eigentlich müsste man mir Geld zurück geben, das war eine absolute Zumutung gewesen.

Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Abgesehen von ein paar kleinen Unannehmlichkeiten war alles wie beschrieben und in Ordnung. Es ist ein sehr schönes Haus, das langsam renovierungsbedürftig wird. Ich fand, dass das Haus in einem schlechteren Zustand war, als es auf den Fotos aussah, was mich ein wenig enttäuscht hat. Meine Erwartungen waren für diese Preisklasse wahrscheinlich etwas zu hoch. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist gut.

Ein Bad und eine Küche für 5 Zimmer ist gar kein Problem , aber es muss gerade dann darauf geachtet werden, dass Toilettenpapier, ein Geschirrhandtuch, Besteck &Co genügend vorhanden ist oder aufgefüllt wird

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026this is definitely a place with character and special. i kind of liked the squeaky floors, and the weird feeling of being in a stranger's big old slightly fraying mansion. the rooms were clean and the bed comfortable and the price was obviously good, in a town where everything else is very expensive...
this is clearly more a boarding house then a hotel. there is a note in the room, for example, asking that one does not use the communal shower after 9pm so as not to make noise, which is a little strange. communication is minimal and not particularly friendly, and the rooms are hot for sleeping.. perhaps the biggest surprise for me was how many stairs there are from the train station to get here: A LOT. im in shape but i was seriously winded once i climbed up here with my heavy rug sack...

The hotel is reasonably priced, but one has to keep in mind the drawbacks. It's not recommended for a long stay if you're too sensitive to noise. Perhaps I was not distracted as my room was far from the shared toilet.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026We hadden het idee dat het totaal niet brandveilig was, omdat we geen rookmelders zagen. Op de vloer lag een bloedspoor en er was best wel veel kapot in de kamer. Er was geen mogelijkheid om het raam te verduisteren. Degene die de sleutel gaf kon mij niet vertellen hoe het zat met parkeren, dus ik riskeerde misschien wel een boete door langs het hotel te staan.

樓下開關門的時候，氣壓會讓房門震動，一開始睡覺的時候會有點緊張是不是有人來開門。 房間沒有洗手槽，僅有大玻璃瓶裝水+接水的臉盆，而當時2樓的水龍頭正在維修，無法使用，刷牙洗臉頗困擾，都需要在淋浴間完成。 上三樓的樓梯相當陡，走路時木板會發出聲音，很怕會吵到別人。

Reviewed Jul 5, 2026Das Zimmer war sehr groß und geräumig mit einem eigenem Bad. Die Villa liegt sehr zentrumsnah - wir haben alles fußläufig erreicht - und sehr ruhig. Sie ist umgeben von einem herrlichen alten Baumbestand. Möglichkeiten zum Kochen und Frühstück zubereiten sind gegeben - wir haben sie aber nicht genutzt.
Alles hat wunderbar gepasst.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026Die Unterkunft ist wie in der Beschreibung angegeben, alt. Jedoch sind die wichtigsten Details wie Dusche, Küche und WC, herzigen modern modernisiert. Das Zimmer hat Charme und alles was es braucht. Ein sauberes, frisch angezogenes Bett, Lavabo und genügend Vorrichtung um Sachen aufzuhängen, Pult, Tischlampe, Stuhl, Spiegel, alles vorhanden. Sogar ein Ventilator war vorhanden, als es draussen über 30 Grad hatte. Ich würde das Zimmer sofort wieder buchen.

Peut-être lors de grosses chaleurs une mise à disposition de ventilateurs.( Période du 20 / 26 juin très très chaude)

Reviewed Jun 19, 2026La chambre est très bien décorée et confortable. Le petit +, le lavabo en chambre! Les sanitaires étaient propres, l'espace commun fonctionnel. Juste génial ! Je reviendrai sans hésiter. Le rapport qualité prix est imbattable. De plus le style de la bâtisse nous donne presque l'impression de voyager, elle a un charme fou! Il y a des places de parcs dans la rue menant à l'hébergement.
En tout honnêteté rien. Tout était incroyable. Il est vrai que l'on entend les chambres partageant le palier car c'est une très vieille bâtisse, mais les propriétaires informent leurs clients et mettent tout à disposition pour que celà se passe au mieux (bouchons d'oreille ..). Je pense que si l'on n'est pas prêts à séjourner dans une vielle bâtisse qui craque sous son propre charme, mieux vaut séjourner ailleurs.

Reviewed May 31, 2026sehr schönes Zimmer mit großartiger Aussicht. Optimale Lage auf dem Hang hinter der Altstadt, daher sind die historische Altstadt und Zentrum zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen.
in das Zimmer im Dachgeschoß führt eine steile alte Holztreppe, die ist zwar sehr schön aber für Personen mit unsicheren Tritt nicht ganz einfach. Man sollte aufpassen. Bad und WC sind eine Etage tiefer, die Lösung mit Waschkommode im Zimmer (also ohne Wasserzu- und -abfluss) ist nett gemacht, ist aber nicht mein Fall.

To get from the station to the property, you have to climb around 200 steps. Fine, unless like me, you have a heavy backpack. The house was also on a gradient. Upon arrival at the property, no keys were in the key safe & the host didn't respond to the door bell for around 10/15 mins (despite being in). I was then directed up yet more steps (around 3 or 4 flights) and pointed in the direction of a further but narrower / steeper flight, to the attic. With my backpack, this would at best have been dangerous. It was more like a ladder than stairs (& there was no landing at the top, so difficult to navigate opening a door, whilst carrying luggage. Informed the host that this wouldn't be an option for me and was told that if I wanted a different room, I'd have to pay extra & that I'd not find another room in the area for an equivalent price. I had no choice but to agree. Had to wait then, for him to hoover the next room. The bed was under the eves, so couldn't sit up. There were cobwebs on the lights, no plug socket and no curtains. The kitchen was in a hallway which also housed a shared shower room and toilet, so it was noisy as a family were also staying and arrived quite late. There were silverfish bugs in the toilet and dead silverfish bugs in the shower light. Appreciate that it's an old house but it wasn't what I expected. Went out but didn't feel safe to come back after dark, as not a nice route back at all. Wouldn't stay again and unfortunately, couldn't recommend. Single rooms quite grotty.

Gastgeber hat weder auf Anruf noch auf WhatsApp noch über Booking.com reagiert.Im Schlüsselkasten war nicht ersichtlich,welches Zimmer ich bekomme;Tourismusabgabe ist 4 SFR - wäre nett gewesen,wenn das irgendwo bei der Buchung vermerkt gewesen wäre

Check-In war nicht möglich, da niemand Zuhause und kein Code für die Schlüsselbox erhalten. Nach einer Stunde warten und etlichen Versuchen zu telefonieren, musste ich mir ein neues Hotel suchen. Als ich mit der Polizei gedroht habe, habe ich mein Geld zurückerhalten für die Buchung in der Villa Bergruh.

Der Turmzimmer ist nicht - aufgrund der steilen und engen Treppe - für Leute mit schwerem Gepäck geeignet, man muss “hochklettern”. Die ausgelagerte Toilette, Waschbecken, Dusche macht den nächtlichen Ausflug “interessanter“.

Reviewed May 17, 2026Séjourner dans un espèce de "manoir" était dépaysant. 10' à pied depuis la gare, voilà une ancienne bâtisse intrigante encerclée par une mini-forêt. Chambre simple mais propres et confortable. Merci pour la bouilloire et le café.
Avec le café, 1 ou 2 sachets de thé basique aurait été appréciable. Il me semble qu'il n'y avait pas de possibilité de laisser les bagages avant le check-in ou après pour aller se promener en ville sans notre sac à dos.

L'accueil, : les chambres n'étaient pas prêtes à,17h30, personne à la maison, un cendrier avec plus de 30 mégots à côté la porte "welcome". Plusieurs emails (sur Booking et en direct) avant séjour restés sans réponse, conversations en anglais au téléphone mais finalement beaucoup de malentendus....
