No Dstv.We couldn't watch anything. The owner said she will look into it. They catch you with a reasonable room rate on bookings.com only to tell you afterwards that it is not ensuite. I had to pay nearly double more. Sam...the security guard, you made our stay good.Reception lady...I can see it's only your job.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026I stayed for three nights and I genuinely enjoyed every moment of my stay. The location is incredibly convenient with the mall just a short distance away which made getting around so easy. From the moment I arrived I was welcomed by the gentleman at reception who was kind, considerate and had such a great sense of humour. He made me feel comfortable right away. The room itself was beautiful, spotless and smelled amazing. Housekeeping did an exceptional job every single day I'd come back to a perfectly clean and refreshed room which made my stay even more enjoyable. I also really appreciated the peace and privacy throughout my stay. Everything was well looked after and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. One thoughtful detail that stood out to me was finding a Bible in the room, it was something I truly appreciated and found comforting. On the day I checked out I was assisted by a lovely lady (I'm not sure if she was the owner or part of the management) and she was just as kind and welcoming. This guest house has truly left a positive impression on me. Without a doubt whenever I visit Bloemfontein again I already know where I will be booking my stay. Highly recommended!

Very small room, confined space,very little space to move around. The bathroom was outside across the hallway,a detail only mentioned after the booking is confirmed and you will need to add an extra fee to change. I feel that was dishonest. If you like quiet then this is not a place for you. The traffic is very loud Please invest in a smart TV,or atleast pay for a higher subscription for DSTV.

Reviewed May 11, 2026We used the premise mostly for sleeping as we were on bloom to attend a Judo Championship. The room was clean and bed very comfy. Bathroom was spacious and also clean. We were served breakfast promptly and staff was polite and friendly. They also had a mini fridge, tea station and microwave in the room which was very convenient. I must also thank the night duty manager who waited till late for my late arrival.
Besides the air freshener which was in the room and was strong for people with allergies. It could also be a nice add on for others who like that kind of stuff. Staff dealt with it nicely.

Reviewed Mar 25, 2026This is a great stop over spot for when traveling, the guest house is situated close by to al the needed shops, restaurants and highways. Staff was very friendly and supper helpful with booking in and the room was very neat and clean on arrival. Would recommend them for sure when stopping over in Bloemfontein.
The shower head is busy failing and will just need to be replaced, but did not spoil our stay at all.

Located next to a very busy and noisy street. The specific room we had, had a seperate bathroom down the corridor. It did state private bathroom on bookings.com but it was not very clearly stated that it was NOT EN-SUITE. So slightly misleading if you are not very attentive when doing the booking.

Every single item in the room makes a massive noise. The fridge, the air con even the TV and the lights. And then your next to main road, plus the doors have zero insulation so you hear reception and everyone else. The pictures make it look lovely from the outside, but that’s where it stops
