I visited this property and totally disappointed as it was closed due to a court decision. The notice was placed on the gate and I didn’t get any information before I arrived there. I had to look for other place to stay immediately which was not really convenient and unexpected. Please pay your attention on this kind incidents in order to make your service more reliable and and easy for customers. Here with attached the notice displayed at the property.

No kettle or cup of tea making facilities. No drinking water in the room. No cups or glass inside the room to drink anything.

Staff - the owner is a horrible person. Rasist (didnt stop talking bad about Indians), agressive, tried to scam us (put wrong amount on the pos machine then deleted it when we asked him to show it) We had two rooms, shared with friends. We wanted to shorten our stay for one night (one room) and he still made us pay for it (never happened before in Sri lanka). We didn’t feel welcome at all, bad vibe all over. Had to pay for every sip of coffee, usually Sri lanka people are soo sweet and welcoming. Not here. You can see all they care is about money that they will take from tourist.

Short stay, had an aryuvedic massage. Host was welcoming and place was clean and in a quite street.

The hotel is situated in a quiet area off the main road with easy aceta to local shops and restaurants. The garden is a peaceful oasis teeming with life.

The breakfast is a bit humdrum but at the price of the hotel it's hard to complain.

The room was basic but right for my needs. It had a bed with a mosquito net, a table and a chair, a cloth-hanger and a small bedside table with a kattle. It was horrendously hot at Anuradhapura and so it was nice to have an air-conditioned room to chillax.

The air-condition is old and noisy. I did not stop me from falling a sleep but it can be disturbing for those who have a light sleep. I would have been nice to have a power point close to the table. I had to do some computer work and I had to rely on my computer's battery.

The birds in the morning were incredible. It was like a symphony of nature. Beautiful. Also the staff gave me good information and helped save me walking all the way to the station with my luggage by finding the bus at the front door :)

The room itself was dusty and damp with many bugs but they are everywhere in sri lanka guesthouses. The dusty/moldy parts though gave me a terrible cough as im allergic 🥲

Outside space and a beer were very welcome after cycling around the temples. Helpful and friendly staff. Huge comfortable bed, a/c and net. Breakfast and dinner ample and tasty. Hired bicycles for 1000rupees. In a quiet street.

Nice friendly guest house near the ancient city. Room stylish and clean, and feshly painted. Comfy bed comprising 2 mattresses, but the mosquito net (which was necessary) wasn't big enough and was on a pivot bracket which easily moved so both sleepers weren't fully covered. No tea and coffee facilities Breakfast was OK, we did order SL breakfast but were given western breakfast - bit of a disappointment. Dinner there - good 4 veg curry and rice. No other restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Bike hire - old bikes but great to have so a huge plus. Lovely cycling around the wonderful religious site.

There was a smell of drains in the bathroom so we left the window open to get rid of this. Only problem is then all the mosquitos came in. Fan not working in our room, so had to put Aircon on all night, which isn't ideal. Tip: the downstairs rooms have an outside terrace with table and chairs and garden view. Ours was on first floor and didn't have this.

Nice hotel and very helpful staff!

Staff is really kind. Facilities are OK, completely aligned with price. Breakfast is very complete and good. Totally recommend the Ancient City Tour. The guide was absolutely amazing, explaining everything, respecting the times. It was one of the best experiences in Sri Lanka so far.

It was a nice place to stay close to the temples.

If you want to eat somewhere else nearby there is nothing.

Twee losse bedden zijn erg fijn en het was goed schoon binnen. Het ontbijt is basic maar wel lekker.

Er was een hond die vroeg in de ochtend al ging blaffen en het licht in de kamer is heel fel wit.

Il bagno si allagava ad ogni doccia perché non c'è la tenda ne un minimo di inclinazione del pavimento per far defluire l'acqua verso il pozzetto. Maggior pulizia della stanza sarebbe ben accetta.

Siamo rimasti una notte, la struttura è semplice ma adeguata, ottima posizione per visitare Anuradhapura, la colazione era da aggiungere però buona. Ci hanno noleggiato due bici per visitare, molto comodo.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado cerca de los monumentos, el desayuno está muy bueno y puedes alquilar una bici para moverte fácilmente por la ciudad.

Tener en cuenta que la luz se va en ocasiones y que se necesita una cortina opaca para que no entre la luz desde temprano en la habitación.

Struttura accogliente e piacevole. Personale molto disponibile e gentile. In struttura c’è la possibilità di noleggiare le bici per visitare la città e sono molto disponibili nel reperire mezzi per i vari spostamenti. Struttura pulita e cibo ottimo

特になし。エアコンもあるし、温水シャワーもあるので旅慣れている人には最高のホテルだと思います。

The hosts are the nicest people, as it is common amongst the majority of the Sri Lanka population. We were tired on our arrival due to a long train trip, and as soon as we got to the accomodation we were given a fresh Juice and a really needed cooled room. The highlight for me was definitly the food, at a good price and very nice serving size, as we got to try Sri Lanka famous dish which was delicious on both occasions. Overall people were very chatty, always in an heartwarming and curious way. Overall the Stay was quite pleasant, and i wish i could Stay for more days but the trip goes on 🫂 Ps: the Next stop for US was sigirya and they even arranged the táxi for us at a competitive price, thus earning our trust in all aspects

fueron super agradables, una familia encantadora. Somos 3 chicas y hemos estado muy agusto.

Die Lage war nah am Bahnhof und trotzdem ruhig. Das Zimmer war sauber und geräumig. Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war auch sehr gut!

Non mi ha convinto, la camera era piccola e non pulitissima e nel bagno c'era parecchia muffa..

Es gibt dort kaltes Lions Bier ! Das Zimmer war ok, sauber, Aircon funktionierte effektiv. Das Bad etwas muffig aber sauber. Sehr schön fand ich den Innenhof, um den die Zimmer angelegt waren. Das SriLanka - Frühstück war spitze, das andere OK. Auch das Abendessen war günstig und gut. Das Personal ( es ist ein Hostel, kein Homestay, also etwas unpersönlicher) war immer freundlich und hilfreich. Praktisch auch, das es dort einen günstigen Fahrradverleih ( 1000 pro Tag )gibt.

Die Fahrräder sind so antik wie Anuradhapura - aber : Wir sind damit problemlos nach Minhintale und zurück gekommen. Ich wollte es nur erwähnen, denn beim Anblick der Räder glaubt man es nicht.

- Quizá la cama no era muy de mi agrado. Tenía el colchón muy fino para mi gusto.

vriendelijk personeel, erg behulpzaam. De familiekamer was erg schoon en ruim. We konden onze bagage in hotel laten toen we op onze laatste dag een excursie hadden. Later uitchecken was ook geen probleem omdat de kamer vrij was, dus we konden nog lekker douchen. We hebben een safari geboekt en waren er erg tevreden over.

The place is very nice; both the rooms and the garden outside. Excellent value for money. The food is excellent, but above all, the staff is very helpful, hospitable, and careful.

There's nothing in particular we didn't like. Perhaps the only small suggestion we can give is that it would be nice to have a small bedside light in addition to the ceiling lights.

I liked everything here. One star missing only for not having vegan menu (no bread and sugarfree 😇) which was not a huge problem. But I think this will be improved any time soon. Very kind and helpfull staff 🙏🏻 AC&fan rooms 🌬 lived on the 2nd floor on a separate corner above the kitchen and it was quite there 🧘 Bicycle rental 🚀 1000lkr a day *good quality (Ganesh is looking after them 🐘🙏🏻) Location 🛸 Keep shining! Het personeel is heel behulpzaam bij een technisch mankement kwamen ze meteen kijken om het op te lossen! Het ligt op een paar minuten lopen van het centrum.

Es un alojamiento económico con habitaciones con aire acondicionado.

Las sábanas parecían un trozo de tela y estaban manchadas. El baño tenía un olor muy fuerte a humedad y desagüe.

Уютно, без излишеств, вкусно готовят. Рядом с с центром, как мне показалось.

Нет телика и в нашем номере не работал вентелятор.

Chwila nieuwagi i zostaliśmy obciążeni o 1000 lkr za dużo za nocleg. Nasz błąd, bo nie sprawdziliśmy przelicznika przy płaceniu. Głośno - akurat trafiliśmy na organizowaną przez właściciela imprezę z głośną muzyką; dodatkowo - budynek skonstruowany jest w taki sposób, że jakiekolwiek rozmowy na korytarzu za łazienką słychać bardzo wyraźnie w pokoju, gdyż wentylacja w łazience to po prostu dziura w ścianie. Woda z umywalki zamiast do rury, lała się na podłogę. Użycie klimatyzatora i suszarki jednocześnie wywalało korki, ten sam efekt przy klimatyzatorze i grzałce do wody pod prysznicem. Zamówiliśmy śniadanie na 7.30, o 7.50 dostaliśmy, ale nie to o co prosiliśmy. Ostatecznie zjedliśmy na szybko cokolwiek, bo musieliśmy wyjeżdżać.

Staff molto disponibile. Colazione e cena superlative! Abbiamo preso delle bici per girare la città sacra che sono state molto utili.

Le lenzuola sono un po’ vecchie, il lenzuolo sopra sembra più un panno che un lenzuolo vero e proprio.

Il proprietario e la sua famiglia sono molto disponibili. Ho soggiornato due volte in questa struttura, la seconda arrivando con il treno all’1 di notte e mi hanno accolto a quell’ora senza alcun problema. Ottima la colazione. Buona anche la cena disponibile in struttura. Presenti zanzariere sui letti. Molto bello il giardino. Disponibili biciclette per esplorare il sito archeologico. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Nella prima stanza in cui ho dormito il letto era piuttosto scomodo: il materasso era molto sottile/vecchio e girandomi sentivo la struttura del letto. Anche la pulizia non era il massimo. Nella seconda stanza comodo il letto e maggiore pulizia.
