such a comfortable hotel with gorgeous modern fixtures. the staff were so friendly and the food at the restaurant was delicious and well priced.

Staf davvero molto gentile, Mahinda molto disponibile! Colazione ottima e fatta al momento, le stanze erano spaziose e pulite.

Loved the rooms and the fact that Netflix was also available is a huge plus point.

Would have appreciated some drinking water and coffee sachets to be provided.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Monkeys came on the balcony, keep your windows closed. We moved to a downstairs room after the first night. Much better room.

Breakfast was basic, but ok. Long walk from town centre, not many Tuk Tuks. Difficult to find a restaurant. Stairs to the upstairs room were very unstable and unsafe. Room was given to us due to our original room having plumbing issues.

La camera è essenziale ma pulita. Letto molto comodo. Dotata di aria condizionata. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile ad organizzare Safari/Taxi per spostamenti, a prezzi ragionevoli. C’è anche l’angolo bar con buoni piatti (riso al curry meritevole). Ottima frutta e i succhi. Leggermente alto il prezzo rispetto agli standard Sri-lankesi.

I had a really nice stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable, with cozy beds, and the location was excellent. It was very convenient to get around, with most of the main attractions in Anuradhapura within about 10 minutes. A special mention to Danupa at the reception. He was extremely friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about making sure we were comfortable during our stay. His customer service and communication really stood out and made the experience much better. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay in a great location. I would definitely love to visit again

Very disappointing experience – poor management The power failure since the morning was understandable, as power outages can happen due to circumstances beyond the hotel’s control. However, what was completely unacceptable was the hotel having no power backup and no proper plan to handle the situation, especially when it comes to taking care of guests. At around 7:30 AM, I went to the cafeteria and spoke to a staff member about arranging breakfast for around 10:00 AM. He did not ask me what breakfast options I wanted, so I went back to my room. Around 10:00 AM, I returned to the cafeteria, but the staff member I had spoken to earlier was no longer there. A Tamil-speaking female staff member and a receptionist informed me that breakfast was not available because of the power failure. I then asked to speak with the manager. I was told that the manager was not available in Sri Lanka and that she could not speak with him that morning. This made the situation even more frustrating, as there appeared to be no responsible management available to properly address the guest’s concerns. After waiting for around 20 minutes, I was finally offered two omelets, and I said No which were nowhere near adequate considering the price I had paid for the hotel and breakfast. Alternatively, I was told I could wait another hour for breakfast to be prepared. Unfortunately, I could not wait because my taxi had already arrived to pick me up. I then spoke with the previous receptionist,(Danupa) who was on leave. He offered me a $6 refund. Since I had no other practical option at that point, I accepted the refund and left. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Power failures can happen, but a hotel should have backup power or at least a proper contingency plan, especially for essential services such as breakfast. More importantly, the communication between staff and guests needs significant improvement.

Die Unterkunft liegt recht zentral. Das Zimmer ist zweckmäßig ausgestattet und hat uns für 1 Nacht gereicht. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Das Zimmer war klein. Für eine Nacht war es ausreichend. Eine Gartenanlage wie in einem Hotel gibt es nicht. Typisch Sri Lankisches Frühstück kann nicht als early breakfast serviert werden.

Mahinda is a fantastic host.

Net verblijf, zeer ruime kamer en een fijne grote koelkast.

De kraan in de badkamer was wat onhandig aangezien het zo klein was en achterin de wasbak zat.

O pequeno-almoço é fraco e o quarto em que ficámos, virado para a estrada e sem vidros duplos, era algo barulhento.

Ottimo soggiorno. La camera è spaziosa e pulita. Abbiamo apprezzato molto la possibilità di usufruire di un piccolo bar all'interno della struttura sempre aperto. In struttura abbiamo anche cenato e la qualità del cibo e del servizio è stata ottima.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit guter Lage in Anuradhapura! Die Zimmer sind super groß, das Bett war bequem und alles sehr sauber. Das Personal war super freundlich!!

Hotel pulito e con tutto quello che serve. Molto vicino alle attrazioni principali della città e in ottima posizione per fare una passeggiata lungo il lago vicino. Lo staff è stato molto cordiale e accogliente e la colazione è di una bontà unica.

Heel vriendelijk personeel, wil je overal mee helpen. we zijn 1 nacht hier verbleven. Het leuke is dat in de tuin een soort van bar/lounge plek is en je er de hele dag terecht kunt voor wat eten of drinken. kamers zijn ruim en schoon.

Het heet ivy lake, dus had verwacht dat je op het meer kon kijken of in iedergeval de straat over kon steken naar het meer, maar er tegen over kan je niet bij het meer komen.

Nettes Personal, Zimmer sind gut. Völlig ausreichend für ein bis zwei Nächte in Anuradhapura.

Klimatyzacja słabo chłodziła i trzeba było na maxa odpalić, trochę głośno, bo hotel przy ruchliwej ulicy, ale nie aż tak źle

The team were so helpful. They offered their support even before our stay. They organised a safari to Wilpatu and our taxi transfer to Trincomalee. The room was good. The mattress is nice and wide and firm. The bathroom was clean. At Cafe Hudo next door, they serve delicious juices, drinks, snacks and meals. The kottu was fantastic.

Service ist 10/10 besonders möchten wir uns bei Mahinda & Dinuka bedanken. Mahinda, einen riesen Dank an dich, dass du uns so in der Frühe unser Frühstückbox vorbereitet hast und immer so aufmerksam warst. Die Anlage ist sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Der Garten ist sehr süß. Das Frühstück war super und auch großzügige Portionen. Die Lage ist auch top und die beste Internetverbindung die wir in Sri Lanka hatten! :)

Proche d'une route très passante donc bruyant.

Ruime en schone kamer, ontzettend aardige en behulpzame medewerkers (vooral omdat mijn bagage niet meegekomen was met de vlucht). Naast t hotel zit een restaurantje met lekker eten.

Aan details wordt gedacht, heel vriendelijk personeel dat alles voor je wil doen. Zalige koffie, heerlijk eten, zeer verzorgde en mooie tuin. Echte aanrader!

Le logement est propre et bien situé. Le personnel est très sympathique et le café de l'hôtel fait de très bonnes boissons.

Le safari proposé par l'hôtel à Wilpatu ne vaut pas du tout le coup. Notre chauffeur parlait à peine anglais et le parc a été vidé de ses animaux par la guerre. Le flyer de l'hotel annonce qu'il s'agit du 1er parc national du pays... pas du tout, il commence tout doucement à se repeupler. Ne gachait pas votre argent (~100 euros / personne), privilégiez les parcs du Sud ou Minneriya.

Dos serviços que nos indicaram para fazer touros na cidade. O motorista não falava inglês e estava sempre a querer levar nos aos sítios onde íamos ter de consumir ou pagar alguma coisa. As indicações e dicas dadas pelo staff foram fracas.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the check-in process was quick. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the location was convenient for getting around. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and good value for money.

We tried a few meals as it was early in our holiday in Sri Lanka - and we were slightly dissapointed in the taste and texture. We tasted much better in the following weeks of our stay

Don't stay in this hotel. It's pointless. There's no water properly .there's a lot of mosquitoes in the room. This is not a good place to stay.

Las instalaciones estaban muy bien cuidadas, además tiene pegando una zona bar-jardin donde se puede comer, cenar, y pasar un buen rato. Los trabajadores muy atentos.

Todo fue perfecto pero el desayuno se queda un poco justo. Te ofrecen una lista de cosas para elegir solamente una.

Nos pudieron dar la habitación antes del check-in. La cama es enorme y tiene buen aire acondicionado.

No tiene desayuno incluido y la cafetería del hotel me pareció un poquito cara para lo que era.

Estaba bien ubicado y el personal fue muy simpático. Nos ayudaron a organizar una visita con tuk tuk por los templos más importantes de la ciudad.

Nos cobraron 30€ de tasas al llegar, casi más de lo que nos costó la noche. Nos quedamos muy sorprendidos.

Struttura ben curata e pulita anche se essenziale. Colazione abbondante e varia.

Facilities were excellent, room was clean, Smart TV with good wifi connection, clean bathrooms. Specially the breakfast was super yummy. Excellent place.

The location and facilities are ok.

Electric kettle is not positioned properly. The plug base is not reachable. Need to add some coffee and creamer. Quality of the food required to improve.

Lovely people welcoming you to their beautiful hotel. Large, clean rooms with comfortable beds and bathrooms. Excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner. I would stay again!

Het restaurantje dat bij het verblijf zat was super fijn, vooral omdat er niet veel leuke eetgelegenheden in de buurt zijn.

De douche had geen warm water. Ook lag het verblijf aan een drukke weg, waardoor het ’s avonds gehorig was.
