Super cosy room and very clean. The bathroom was really comfortable, especially the shower. Good location too.

The only downsides are that breakfast is not included and has to be paid for separately. The café next door is very good though! Also, the fan in the room is very noisy, especially at night. A little expensive for what they offer, but overall we had a nice stay.

The room was comfortable and clean. The sheets and towels were clean and smelled nice. The AC was great and overall it was nice. Breakfast was tasty too. I received more than I could eat, would have been enough for two.

There was no hot water. It was hot outside so I didn't care about it that much but wished for it in the morning though. Also at times, the water pressure was very low but I think it was because of the prevailing dry conditions making the water board to provide water under low pressure to some areas but I'm not sure. There was a power cut for about an hour or so on the second day, if it had continued more than that, it would have been unbearable with the heat. Also it was a bummer they were not serving lunch and dinner, so I had to order out. There were 2 guys taking turns at the reception, the person who was there when I checked in was welcoming and friendly. The other, who was also waiting for me during breakfast seemed a little cold. Also there was no view at all. Since I spent 2 nights there, would have been nice to have a bit of outside with a view.

Wir hatten sehr saubere Zimmer sowie ein riesiges schönes Bad. Das Frühstück war super und man hatte viele Wahlmöglichkeiten. Am Abreisetag konnten wir durch eine kleine Zusatzgebühr den Checkout auf 18 Uhr verschieben. So hatten wir noch einen ganzen Tag in Anuradhapura zur Verfügung, konnten anschließend noch duschen und dann weiterfahren. Die Anlage ist sehr schön.

Fantastic stay! The property is in a perfect location, close to everything yet quiet. It was spotlessly clean and much more spacious than we expected. The host was incredibly welcoming and made the whole process seamless. Excellent value for money, would definitely book again.

Abbiamo prenotato last minute quindi non avevamo una delle camere migliori ma era pulita e con tutto il necessario. Il condizionatore era un po' datato, quindi più rumoroso di quelli moderni, ma faceva il suo dovere. Essendo in una via secondaria risulta molto tranquillo. Abbiamo potuto noleggiare due biciclette direttamente all'hotel così girare la città è stato comodissimo! Nella struttura a fianco c'è un piccolo cafè in un bel giardino, dove è possibile fare colazione pranzo e cena. Ci siamo trovati bene!

I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. The property is well-maintained and very clean. I loved the calm environment, which made it easy to relax. A special thanks to the supportive staff who went out of their way to assist me. Excellent service!

On the downside, my room was a little on the small side. I also ordered the breakfast, but unfortunately, it did not offer good value for money.

The staff is very helpful and kind. Our room was neat and sparkling clean including the bathroom. The Wi-fi worked well. The hotel serves a very hearty and delicious breakfast both Western and Sri Lankan style.

We could have done with a TV in the room as well, but we didn’t really mind. The rugs in front of the beds should be washed/cleaned a bit more often.

Spacious Bathroom in one of the two bedrooms we booked (it was a pleasant surprise). Both bathrooms were clean. Cleanliness of the rooms. Good breakfast.

Shower water spills/spreads to the other part of the bathroom (not a major problem). Bedroom too small. No TV.

Hotel localization is good

The room downstairs had bed bugs!! We noticed this after spending 1 night. After informing the staff of our suspicion, they accepted to move us to another room upstairs for the next night. When we were about to take our taxi, the staff informed us that indeed those were bed bugs but that it was the first time someone reported this. Given the amount of bed bugs, the size of them, and some dead ones, I absolutely don’t think it was a new issue. Following up by message with the hotel after our departure, they agreed to reimburse the fees related to the cleaning of our clothes (and rejected reimbursement of the night). We had our clothes washed when back in France to clean everything at the same time, and after some messages with the hotel and delayed in the reimbursement because of international money transfer constraints, they stopped replying. No reimbursement. Very disappointing. Also, the tourists who had the room next to us downstairs said they also required to change because of some moisture on the walls etc.

We had a wonderful stay at Living Lush. The property is very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a peaceful atmosphere that makes it perfect for relaxing after exploring Anuradhapura. A special mention to Sajith, who took exceptional care of us during our stay. His hospitality and attention to detail were outstanding. The cleaning standards were absolutely top-notch; the rooms and common areas were spotless and very well looked after.

Wir haben ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss erhalten. Die Decke war teilweise voller schwarzem Schimmel, im Bad ebenfalls. Haben sofort reklamiert, konnten aber erst den nächsten Tag das Zimmer wechseln. Personal war super nett.

Wir haben auf Nachfrage 2000 Rupien als Rabatt für den Schimmel bekommen. Absolut lächerlich. In der ganzen Unterkunft riecht es schon moderisch. Für uns nie mehr. Alle anderen Unterkünfte unserer Rundreise waren günstiger und wesentlich besser.

A comfortable stay at Livin Lush Anuradhapura, a great base for exploring Ancient City of Anuradhapura. The room was warm and comfortable with plenty of electric sockets for devices, a spacious bathroom with an excellent hot shower, and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast were good!

A fridge in the room would have been better for us but there was a communal fridge for use. The bedroom was a little tight.

La habitación familiar es ideal para una familia de 4 o 5. La habitación era amplia, limpia y confortable. Estuvimos muy a gusto, y el personal fue súper amable y eficiente. Gracias!

103号室でしたが、部屋が清潔で美しかったです。床はピカピカ、トイレ、バスルームもピカピカ。施設も設備も新しいです。エアコンもよく効いて、wifiのスピードも速いです。シャワーのお湯の水圧も強いです。歯ブラシ、髭剃りなどのアメニティも揃っており、高級ホテルのようです。この値段でこのサービスが受けられるのは素晴らしいです。スリランカ料理の朝食、スイカのジュースが美味しかったです。スタッフもフレンドリーで快適でした。一日1,000ルピーで自転車が借りられます。寺院を見て回るには自転車があるととても便利です。

Ligging en er was op het moment dat we er waren een festival in de buurt die tot 2 uur duurde. Leek alsof de buren een feestje gaven maar daar kon het hotel natuurlijk zelf niet veel aan doen.

Sehr bemühter Service, die uns auch bei später Anreise noch Abendessen zubereitet haben. Tolles Frühstück! Wir haben über die Unterkunft eine Safari im Wilpattu Nationalpark organisiert bekommen, was gut geklappt hat. Dafür haben wir sogar ein Breakfast-Bag mitbekommen.

Die folgenden Punkte beziehen sich nicht direkt auf die Unterkunft: - Es schien als seinen die Preise für vermittelte Touren/Fahrservice verhältnismäßig teuer. - Die Safari würde ich so nicht noch einmal buchen, da keine Kommunikation vor und während der Safari stattgefunden hat. Außerdem sind die Bedingungen (Bezahlung des Fahrers im Verhältnis zum von uns gezahlten Tourpreis sowie Arbeitszeit (4am- 7pm)) für den Fahrer so nicht tragbar und unterstützenswert.

Relatief nieuw en modern landhuis met een aantal kamers. Vriendelijk personeel dat keurig Engels spreekt. De duplex familiekamer met een klein balkon was ruim met airco, prima bedden, ruime en schone badkamer met warme douche. Ontbijt was uitgebreid. Je kunt er eten maar wij hebben in een van de hoofdstraten gegeten. Max 10 min lopen, wel door een slecht verlichte straat.

De entree ziet er heel erg luxueus uit. Verder is het heel erg netjes en schoon.

De 2 persoons kamers (we hadden ook die van een ander stel gezien) waren basic, de stijl van de entree is niet per se doorgetrokken in de (kleine) kamers. De naam ‘luxury retreat’ vinden wij dan ook vrij overdreven.

Wij vonden zelf de stad Anuradhapura niet zo leuk maar hier kan de accommodatie niets aan doen. Verder verbleven wij in kamer 103. Op zich prima maar de airco maakt een erg vervelend piepend geluid waardoor deze in de avond uitgezet moest worden. Verder kwamen er bij t uitchecken nog onverwachte kosten bij ivm BTW. Dit was 25% van het totale bedrag waarvoor wij geboekt hebben. Dit vonden wij erg vervelend

Mooie ruime kamer, we hadden de familiekamer. Erg leuk met twee verdiepingen. Van alle gemakken voorzien en met lekker ontbijt. Aardige mensen die bereid zijn je met alles te helpen.
