Reviewed Sep 17, 2026The location is great, just a few minutes’ walk from the historic city centre. We came by bike, and it was possible to leave our bikes in the patio. The check-in was very easy: we received the access codes in advance and could enter without any issues. We never actually met the owner during our stay, but he was very responsive and helpful whenever we contacted him. The room itself was even better than we expected and was probably the best room we had throughout our trip. We especially appreciated all the thoughtful little details, such as the free coffee and drinks provided every day, a small complimentary toiletries kit, bath gel and shampoo, an extra mirror, and air conditioning. These small touches really made the stay feel comfortable and well considered.
The only things worth mentioning are more about what future guests should be aware of than actual problems with our stay. If you are travelling with very expensive bikes, keep in mind that there is no garage. The bikes can be left in the patio, and depending on the size of your bike lock, you may be able to secure them to the staircase. For us this was not a concern as we had relatively modest bikes, but it is something to consider if you are travelling with high-end bicycles. Before our arrival, we were asked to send our IDs by email. I was initially a little hesitant about this, especially because Booking.com specifically advises guests not to send this type of information via chat or email. After checking the previous reviews, I felt more comfortable that the request was legitimate, but I think it is worth mentioning here so that future guests are aware of it and are not unnecessarily worried when they receive the request.

The only thing negative was the potent fragrance from the laundry detergent used for cleaning the towels. I know the small because I use the same detergent. Not so much a dislike but steps up to the flat are steep. Not good for people with mobility issues. The sign on the gate entrance is a very nice design but difficult to be read from the road. We missed it. Needs a standard font. The shower was great but needs an anti slip mat.

Reviewed Jun 19, 2026Great apartment close to the city. Coffee, tea and drinks were provided. Great sheets, linens and bed.
I found the tone of the automated response to be hostile. I can't find the message now but my memory of the text was: 1. send your passport or you won't get an entry code 2. we won't confirm whether we have received us 3. we won't reply to messages on this platform 4. we'll send you your entry code at 2pm on the day if your arrival

Reviewed Jun 13, 2026The place is super clean and cozy and quite easy to find, free minibar is nice touch. Very comfy bed, everything looks quite new and well kept.
You have to send a photo of your ID in advance to some email adress which is a bit troubeling for security reasons. But the hosts are willing to meet you in person instead if you're a bit persistent..

Reviewed Jun 7, 2026Everything was wonderful. The room for two was spacious, with a large comfortable bed. There was a kettle and a coffee machine in the room. It was clean, warm, and had everything we needed. The only downside was that it was not possible to leave luggage after checking out of the hotel. The luggage storage at the train station is also available only from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The villa is located not far from the train station, about a 10–15 minute walk away. There is a nice Chinese restaurant nearby, and the city center is also within easy reach. If you do not receive the access code for your room by email, make sure to call the hotel or contact them via WhatsApp right away.
I didn’t receive the access code for my room. I had to phone and reminded
