I slept in my car no one responded to me not by phone I went to the location and no one answered the door

Room was spacious. Bathing and kitchen area was ok too.

The ladies working there were very sweet and helpful, location is great as well

After seeing the place I decided not to stay it was not clean, bathroom looked terrible and the room had 2 regular beds and bunk but. I felt likevI was on a military 🪖 camping trip

La casa era muy chula y muy bien cuidada. La ubicación es increíble ya que está a un paso del centro de Port Antonio y la Bikini Beach está al lado :)

Quarto diferente do que reservamos, pequeno, apertado e com pouco espaço para colocar malas e roupas. Só aceita dinheiro, não aceita cartão.

Cute guest house close to the center of port antonio, in a calm and very green road. The host was friendly.

The rooms were very small with almost no place to put the luggage on the floor.

Pobyt v hotelu je jako na chalupě na venkově.... Moc příjemná paní domácí, která v hotelu bydlí. Čtvrť Hill je úplně klidná a pro veškerý servis musíte jít do centra, ale je to jen cca 5 minut pěšky.

The host were nice but very greedy. Different prices than what i booked and they made me go to the ATM for 1 USD...

On my tour of Jamaica, I wanted to make a quick detour to Port Antonio. From Ocho Rios, I took the Knutsford Express to Port Antonio. The town isn't quite as touristy as Montego Bay, etc., so there aren't as many options there. The holiday home is located on the outskirts of downtown, which is great. You can walk to the hotel from the bus stop, which is located in Bayshore Plaza, in 20 minutes. My room was simple but adequately equipped. There was a fan and an air conditioner. Unfortunately, there was no kitchen. There's a refrigerator and a microwave in the hallway if you want to eat something. The Wi-Fi connection was stable and good in the hotel. It's not an all-inclusive resort, but it's perfectly adequate for a quick trip to Port Antonio.

Shirley was great, welcoming and pleasant. The place was clean and comfortable, easy to access and just a few minutes walk from the town.

When we receive a confirmation the property could be clear saying that they don’t accept credit card, then we can arrive prepared!

Went there for a 2 day stay with family to unwind and distress from a funeral... Ms. Christina the staff person was welcoming and informed us of the places we could visit around Portland and where to find food because meals were not provided at the guest house. There were also mango trees around that fed us well during our visit... I ate many mangoes. Over all 7 family members had a good time. I would go hang out there during mango season again 😀. The beds were comfy...

The building needs some upgrades... but the place had a old house charm to it...all was well. The shower head in my bathroom was broken but we found a work around so good water pressure was obtained.

The room was definitely more of a homey, informal and rusty vibe which I found charming. The staff was friendly and helpful. It just felt like an authentic Jamaican home.

Wonderful breeze at night through the windows at night! The bedroom and bathroom were nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Mrs Shirley and her staff were very kind and helpful. Beautiful baranda to have a coffee in the morning and spend some time in the evening. It's just a few blocks away from the shops, the route taxis stand and the bus terminal. I enjoyed my stay very much. Thank you!

The location was great. Short walk away from the town centre, so there is no need to drive to pick up anything from many local supermarkets. On a clear day, you have a lovely view of the blue mountains.

Everything could be better, the room was too small the air conditioning system dont work , wifi dont work the fan on the wall was too noisy the bed give me pain in the back and finally the staircase was rickety make so much noise while climbing it.

The price was very good and the location was excellent.

Nothing. Didn't stay in the property....and unfortunately shortly after paying 100.00 USD our group decided not to stay.

1. The host was abusive to a member of her staff. 2. The facility is old and tatty and dingy and should not be accommodated on Booking.com. 3. The facility was unprepared for guests as the bathroom in the allocated room was not working. 4. The host was more interested in talking to friends than sorting out her guests. 5. Parking was like playing 'musical chairs ' 6. The host was not interested to find out why we were leaving shortly after checking in and paying 100.00usd 7. We had to ask for WiFi info.

I appreciate the kindness and friendly atmosphere. Also, the host was kind and approachable. All in all it feels like home a comfortable atmosphere. I also appreciate the set up for coffee or tea much appreciated. Thank you.

I absolutely have no complaints, I felt comfortable and safe and that’s what we were looking for.

Place was quiet and peacefull

It wasn't as described. Was especting television and AC, but there was no Television, there was a AC unit but seems defective. Room was very small hardly had space to move about. NB: Dont try to move certain you won't be pleased. Otherwise the quietness and peacefulness let me forget about the problems as it was only one night.

Closeness to city centre and affordability

It's a family home, and a guest could easily feel that their presence is intrusive.

The location, friendly staff and knowledgeable staff of the local area. It was very near shops, restaurants, banks and beach.

Getting used to opening and closing gate. I mastered it in the end.

Everything is close I did not eat cook or anything there

- The host was only friendly sometimes. We felt as though we were staying in some old rich hag house complaining about what she is earning while she drives a late model BMW 7 series. - from the moment we reach was not good as we( my daughter and I) we’re pad locked out of the house after being shown the room by the rude housekeeper on the veranda (as per the host instructions) while it was 34 outside like we were criminal! We waited 35 minutes for the host to show up and she was not easy to talk to as her only concern is making money! - host talk to the timid but rude housekeeper like she is a slave (made us uncomfortable just hearing the host banter her orders) - the place has a heavy not well maintained high resistance to move grill or gate at the exit that must be pad locked upon exit most times. Was so annoying - host tried to hustle us to pay extra for AC - host tried to hustle us to pay an additional $12 from the price agreed online and shown clearly in the booking confirmation. - pictures in the ad are not accurate at all. When I spoke to the host about this she played dumb! - one bed was nice the other a 80’s hard coil spring bed (NOT NICE!) - bringing bags up 1 short stairs then one long staircase was not fun - bathroom toilet seat broken (got cut from being pinched in the but cheek) - shower head holder broken - water was freezing in the morning and hot water not working as advertised - not dirty but not clean! Under the beds have not been cleaned in years! Huge allergy and asthma alert! -NO TV as advertised and not willing to take one from an empty room - wifi works but not in all areas as advertised - almost killed myself at least 4 times in the place as floor is not level with 2 inch difference in the floor in many places. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Go up the road only 100m and you’ll be happy! Honestly I wish I could get half or all my money back! But I doubt it could happen!

Good location, quiet neighborhood.

It was quite expensive for what we got. It was unconfortable falling asleep because the Matrace and pillows were coated in some plastic cover. Also almost no water and of course cold.

Despite booking last minute our host Shirley went well out of her way to accommodate us. She was very kind and attentive, and we felt truly at home. It means a lot to meet someone like Shirley, it is worth coming to Port Antonio just to meet her.
