Belle qualité des chambres et l’extérieur est très agréable. Le personnel est très serviable et à l’écoute.

Attention : si vous craignez les insectes et varans, il y en a beaucoup dans les espaces communs et quelques lézards dans les chambre (de petites tailles)

The staff were great and very friendly and the location overlooking the fields was beautiful. Plenty of beautiful birds and wildlife to be seen on the property including hundreds of frogs in the pool (obviously a negative for some)

The pool was murky green with algae and therefore not safe to use. The rooms weren’t really clean and areas such as under the bed and the mattress were filthy and old, bathroom also didnt smell amazing and it was grimy. Lots of other reviews about the mosquitos and other critters in rooms and this is definitley the case, we had cockroaches climbing out of the sink and there was something living in the thatch roof which was likely a rat that could be heard during the night scratching around.

L’hôtel est en pleine nature et il faut accepté qu il y ai des petites bêtes ( insectes, lézard etc etc) la piscine et très belle mais rempli de grenouille lors de notre venu donc impossible de se baigner cependant cela avait l’aire d’être traité par l’hôtel et je doute que cela soit tout le temps le cas! Nous recommandons quand même l’expérience

Super hyggelig personale. Ordna med safari og frokost til safari. Fikk lov til å ta en dusj på rommet før vi dro videre, til tross for at det var over utsjekk tiden. Store rom, ordentlig eksotisk følelse. Massasje damen var super flink.

Comfortable stay.

Some people may not like the amount of bugs. Also the safari was advertised as 5 hours. We left at 4:45am and drove 40 minutes before waiting for another 30-40 minutes for the park gates to open. The safari then ended at 11am (but inclusive of a 40 minute drive) which felt like what was advertised was misleading. Also was a weird vibe as we saw no other guests during our stay….

The place was amazing and the room were adorable, you just only need to consider the presence of insects and animals.

What I didn’t like is the fact that in the pictures on the website is shown a swimming which is actually not usable as full of frogs and animals.

La chambre est très jolie et nous avons pu réserver le safari en passant par l’hôtel donc très pratique ! L’hôtel nous a aussi permis de réserver un chauffeur pour poursuivre notre périple.

Nous avons apprécié la literie de bonne qualité et le personnel a été très serviable

Les bungalows se trouvant dans un jardin, à cause de la présence d’animaux nous avons retrouvé des excréments dans le lit, la piscine est remplie de grenouilles et le rapport qualité/prix pour nourriture n’était pas ok

El alojamiento tiene un encanto especial. La comida muy bien tambien y el personal muy amable. Muy recomendable para pasar una noche y desconectar el sitio es muy acogedor. Hicimos el safari con ellos y muy bien, merece la pena.

Tutto davvero perfetto. Gadi (spero di averlo scritto bene) ci ha accolto da subito e fatti sentire come a casa. Posizione stupenda, tutte le camere e la piscina affacciano su una risaia stupenda. Piscina molto bella e tenuta molto bene. La struttura offre moltissimi servizi, noi abbiamo prenotato il safari a yala, ed è andato molto bene! Super consigliato!

Amazing hotel! The rooms were like chalets! So big and with everything you need, and great air conditioning! The bed was super comfy, the food was great and the pool was amazing! We did a safari with the hotel and it was terrific! Our guide was so knowledgeable and we even saw a leopard!! Couldn’t recommend this hotel or their safaris more!! Felt like I was staying at a retreat!

1 night is not enough

We absolutely loved our stay at Gaga Bees! The beds were comfortable and spacious, the swimming pool very quiet and clean, the breakfast delicious, with the option to have it at whatever time suited us and to take away in case you go on a safari early morning. The location is good, surrounded by nature and close to Yala National Park. We couldn’t have asked for a better host than Gamith and his staff. He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel at home from the very beginning. He really went above and beyond to make our stay special. Definitely one of the best places to stay if you’re visiting Yala!

The staff were very kind and friendly and welcomed us to the hotel. Gamith was great and helped us with our room, ordering food and was very helpful. The hotel dog Coco was also very sweet. We were given a packed breakfast for our safari day. You have to order your food in advance as it takes an hour to be prepared and it was absolutely delicious. The options were varied and reasonably priced. The room was beautifully decorated and the shower was hot.

The wifi was temperamental but to be expected in remote areas. The hotel is located about 50 mins from the Yala National Park gate.

La struttura ha superato ampiamente le nostre aspettative, rivelandosi fantastica sotto ogni punto di vista. Il livello di servizio offerto dallo staff è stato eccellente: il personale, oltre a dimostrarsi sempre cortese e accogliente, ha organizzato per noi un safari nel Parco Nazionale di Yala curato in ogni dettaglio. Grazie al loro eccezionale supporto, abbiamo persino avuto il privilegio di avvistare il raro e sfuggente leopardo. Le camere sono mantenute in condizioni perfette, distinguendosi per l'estremo ordine e per una pulizia davvero impeccabile. Molto apprezzati anche gli spazi esterni, in particolare il rigoglioso giardino botanico e la piscina, che si è rivelata un ambiente estremamente confortevole per rilassarsi al rientro dalle escursioni. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura a chiunque cerchi un soggiorno di alta qualità e una base strategica per visitare il parco di Yala.

Het is een rustig en goed onderhouden resort. Het zwembad is heerlijk om af te koelen of baantjes te trekken. De omgeving biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de rijstvelden en de bergen in de verte. De kamers zijn ruim, smaakvol ingericht en voorzien van alles wat nodig is voor een comfortabel verblijf. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam; ze zorgden ervoor dat al onze vragen werden beantwoord en aan al onze wensen werd voldaan. We hebben de Yala-safari gedaan en zij hebben alles voor ons geregeld. Het ontbijt was uitstekend, met keuze uit vier verschillende menu's. Ook rondom het resort is veel natuur te zien, zoals prachtige vogels, vleermuizen en eekhoorns. Ik zou hier zeker nog eens terugkomen.

The hotel was very peaceful and in a beautiful setting. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfy and had a great night sleep. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Food was delicious - lots of variety of the menu. Lovely pool, nice to relax after our safari. The hotel booked our safari which was great, the guide was very knowledgeable and took a lot of effort spotting leopards for us.

Llegamos a las 19:00 de la tarde y la piscina ya había cerrado.El inodoro no funcionaba bien. El desayuno muy malo.

L’emplacement est superbe on est tout seul au milieu des rizieres ce qui est extrêmement reposant ! Le personnel est très chaleureux et la nourriture y est tres bonne aussi !

Le lieu, le jardin, les bungalows, la vie sur les rizières, la piscine, tous. Les bon déjeuner et les repas. Un endroit très joli et paisible. Le personnel au petit soin.

Goed onderhouden resort. Fijne plek, leuke huisjes. Kleinschalig en het personeel super vriendelijke en behulpzaam. Ligt rustig gelegen, prachtig uitzicht en met de tuktuk ben je zo bij de highlights van de plaats.

Het zwembad had wat gebroken tegel randjes die hierdoor scherp waren geworden. Twee van ons hebben zich daar aan bezeerd.

Mooi kleinschalig verblijf met een 6-7 tal huisjes langs het zwembad. Heerlijk genoten van de zonsondergang over de velden. Voor ons mooi startpunt voor de safari in Yala NP. Prima eten en drinken in het restaurant met rieten kap (safari stijl).

Un paraíso en mitad de los arrozales de Yala. Este alojamiento tenía absolutamente todo lo que buscábamos. Instalaciones cuidadisimas, la piscina genial, cabañas separadas y amplias con su propia terraza. El personal es encantador, atentos a cada detalle, comimos y cenamos allí y la comida estaba genial. Muy buena calidad/precio. Repetiría sin dudarlo un segundo. Además, gestionamos el safari de Yala con ellos, no tuvimos ningún problema, el conductor fue puntual y apuró el tiempo para enseñarnos todo lo que pudo. Precio adecuado. Lo recomiendo

Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Via het hotel de safari geboekt en tevens zorgde ze voor onze transfer. Fijn zwembad. We hebben gegeten bij het hotel, wat prima was.

The pool was lovely, great to unwind after a big day. Sitting on the verandah watching the sunset was beautiful.

The Safari linked to the property wasn’t of the high standard. The guide did not have very good English so wasn’t able to inform us of much and did not have binoculars to use even though when booking said there would be some to use.

The Gaga Bees team welcomed me with a fresh juice when I arrived, then I was promptly shown to my room. Great spacious chalet, more than enough features in the room as well. The staff are more than accommodating. The pool was so refreshing. Had dinner there and it was beautiful. They arranged a safari for me in Yala, and it was amazing. Such a life experience. They also offered late check out when booking through them, which was very appreciative. Would entirely recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at this resort. Even though we only stayed for one night, we felt at home from the very first moment. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, with something for everyone. What we enjoyed most was the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful natural surroundings. It's the perfect place to relax, unwind, and truly connect with nature. If you're lucky, you may even spot some amazing wildlife nearby. If you love nature and are looking for a peaceful getaway, we highly recommend staying at this resort. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

The only small downside was that dinner was served at 8:00 PM, which we found a little late. We also felt that the taco dinner was quite small and could have been a bit more filling.

Virkelig dejlig og hyggelig oase, hvor der var rig mulighed for at få noget afslapning i den skønne natur. Personalet var meget imødekommende og søde og sørgede for, at vi følte os trygge. Og så var det bare nogle vildt smukke omgivelser med en skøn pool.

Det var et smule ødet stedet. Vi følte ikke, vi kunne komme nogle steder hen på gåben og derfor blev det en smule isoleret, da der ikke var noget i nærheden, vi kunne lave. Og så skal man forberede sig på, at der er en masse spændende dyr (ikke farlige) både inde og ude.

Stunning location!! Cold aircon, warm shower and comfy beds. The pool is beautiful and both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were delicious. Helpful and friendly staff - highly recommend!!

Es muy bonito, el pueblo está cerca y el personal es muy amable y atento. El pad thai está buenísimo y la boloñesa de pollo igual. Es el primer sitio donde veo que cuidan a los perros

La habitación se llenó de hormigas en cuestión de 5 minutos, demasiados bichos. La comida un poco cara en comparación con el resto de sitios

Al ser casas con techos de palmera se te meten todo tipo de cucucarachas, gecos… y no duermes muy tranquilo ni recomiendo dejar la maleta abierta

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and well furnished, bed was comfortable and had a mosquito net. Also the AC was good too. Staff organised our safari and our driver was great, very helpful and spoke pretty good English too

Close to some sort of temple that plays music and people speaking out of loudspeakers all the time. This went on during the night too until 4/5am. Bugs in the bathroom too but this is probably to be expected being out in the middle of nowhere. Nothing really around the hotel so you have to have your meals there pretty much

Great location among the rice paddies and away from town, we were beside a little pond with turtles. Peaceful and a great muesli breakfast. They are also environmentally friendly and are trying to do the right thing socially too. Well done.

Not a lot to be honest

Loved how chilled and charming this place is. We did a morning safari then relaxed in the pool all afternoon. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are great really helpful. They have the cutest dog called Coco

The pool was great and the room was big, with a peaceful environment.

The water pressure in the shower was bad. The food was quite mid as well. The staff specifically told us we could check out late after our safari and gave the impression it was all very relaxed (indeed, only half the rooms were being used). But then at 1pm they complained that we hadn't left the room yet, so we promptly packed our things. Once we had left the room they didn't even clean it for the next 2 hours so it felt needless.

Unaware payment was required in cash. If a reminder could be sent for this that would be incredible.

Outstanding stay. Honestly such an amazing experience staying in our own chalet overlooking the rice fields was one of the highlights of our whole time in Sri Lanka. We were also pleasantly surprised at the high quality and standard of the meals we ate while there. The rice and curry was the best we had eaten so far that trip. 10/10, the staff were all amazing.

The hotel was very comfortable and focused on the environment as well. It was a little bit far from restaurants though

Lovely pool and great setting. The room was spacious and comfy and we really enjoyed the animal themed rooms. The staff were very helpful, arranged our Yala safari and taxi.

If we did this again, we’d likely book the safari through another provider. This was due to the age of the jeep and the tour guide didn’t speak any English, therefore we didn’t learn anything about the animals, despite it being advertised. Bear in mind you are in the wild and therefore ants etc will likely be in your room. Note: payments for everything is in cash, we weren’t warned of this until check in. We didn’t eat in the restaurant so we cannot comment on the food however it was more expensive than any of the local restaurants.

Good Helpful Staff, property overlooking beautiful paddy fields

The property was strictly Cash payments only which was not informed to us beforehand. It caused a lot of trouble, as we have been using only credit cards for stay and were not carrying enough cash on us.
