Rapport qualité prix imbattable. Sincèrement , une famille tres attentive. Nous avons mangé chez eux le soir. C’était juste délicieux et très peu cher. La chambre était confortable, et agréable. Débit d’eau un peu faible mais a priori c’est comme ça dan sel secteur. Le propriétaire vous montre le soir les énormes chauves souris qui s’envolent pour aller manger les fruits. Pour le safari dans le parc de Yala, il peut vous l’organiser ou si vous prenez un autre guide , il viendra vous chercher à votre hôtel Merci à eux pour leur accueil Nous recommandons vivement

Posizione ottima vicino al tissa lake!! La famiglia super gentilissima! Ci siamo trovati davvero davvero bene! La camera perfetta come da descrizione! È circondato dal verde e questo ci è piaciuto davvero tanto! Abbiamo prenotato con loro il safari del mattino, super consigliato, ed il driver per andare in un altro paese, puntuale e con una guida perfetta!

另一個台灣網友推薦我住的，老闆的弟弟傍晚會帶大家看果蝠&鳥&夕陽，還會接送去市區吃晚餐，離開的時候更會送去巴士站牌那邊直到確定有上正確的巴士後才會離開，以上這些服務都沒有另外收費! 另外還提供價格合理且很棒&司機經驗豐富的Safari tour，除了近距離看到豹外，更提前卡位到某水池等豹來喝水! Whatsapp的訊息回覆迅速且所有交通問題都可以得到完整的資訊! 非常推薦給大家!!!

Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und begrüßen einen direkt mit einem leckeren Saft. An den anderen Tagen wurde einem auch Wassermelone ins Zimmer gebracht. Sie geben einem sehr gute Empfehlungen und bieten auch Safari an. Es ist außerdem sehr sauber. Für unsere Weiterfahrt wurde uns auch ganz unkompliziert ein Fahrer organisiert. Alles in allem war es eine super Erfahrung und ich kann es nur empfehlen.

Great little place with friendly staff and good breakfast

Clean, nice space, a cozy vacation property! Very friendly, helpful host family. He provided us with coffee/tea, fruit in the morning which was much appreciated and he also organized our Yala safari, where Kasun, our driver was amazing and very dedicated. Highly recommend staying here!! :)

La familia muy amable. Un amigo de la familia nos vino a buscar con un tuk tuk a la estación de autobus sin cobrarnos nada. Al llegar nos pusieron de cenar muy rico (no gratis). Al dia siguiente nos recogieron para ir al safari sobre las 4.30 y nos tenían preparado el café y el desayuno para llevar. Al llegar del safari, este amigo nos llevó con el tuk tuk gratis a comer a smokey house, un restaurante muy recomendable. En general el trato excelente. Tissamaharama es un poco aburrido, no hay mucho que hacer por lo que es recomendable pasar solo una noche si quieres ir al safari.

La ubicación es regular. También subía el olor de la cañería.

Ich habe so etwas noch nie erlebt, die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und sauber, das Essen war super lecker aber was besonders raussticht, ist die Gastgeberfamilie, so viel Bemühungen, Freundlichkeit, Unterstützung und Zuvorkommen gibt es sonst nirgendwo. Te contactará Priya a través de Booking.com, pero el hospedaje es en la casa de su hermano. Todo fue mas que excelente! El trato cordial, el respeto, la habitacion y el aire acondicionado. Hay agua caliente en el baño. Preparan comida abundante a buen precio, por lo que no salimos a recorrer otros restaurantes. Priya te lleva de recorrido a ver aves, cocodrilos y murciélagos de la fruta en la zonas aledañas al hospedaje de forma gratuita. El precio del safari es mas economico con ellos que con otros prestadores con los que averiguamos en el centro de Tissa. Nos acompañaron a la estacion de bus para que pudiéramos tomar el bus correcto Super super recomendable.

Parce que vous êtes logés chez une famille juste adorable, d’une immense gentillesse. Un jus de fruit offert à l’arrivée et après le safari. Homestay semplice ma con tutto il necessario e soprattutto proprietari molto disponibili e gentili. Ci hanno dato una mano in tutto, dal raggiungere la struttura, all'organizzare il safari con prezzo ottimo e driver molto in gamba! (Sì siamo riusciti a vedere i leopardi!)! Rapporto comodità, gentilezza e disponibilità elevato! Ci sentiamo di raccomandare questa struttura. A poche decine di metri dalla casa, c'é una zona d'acqua protetta che ospita una colonia di pipistrelli della frutta e si possono vedere anche coccodrilli! Un bel plus!

Amazing stay! Lovely family! Host is very friendly, responsive and helpful. He will go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. The brother was also very caring and helpful also. Food was excellent for both dinner and breakfast! Given help with travel and given recommendations for the area. Safari was amazing and the host showed me birds, bats and crocodiles in the local area! Clean and spacious room! Highly recommend!

I was looking for a homestay that is located nearby the lake as I wanted to see the bat colony and rural landscapes around Tissa. For that, the location was perfect. Very quiet area and close to nature which I loved. Also there was a terrace where you could hang out or have your food. The family was super welcoming and supportive, they even dropped me at the bus station for free and helped me with my questions and concerns. I didn’t want to do safari in Yala and they weren’t pushy about it, in contrary to what I read about other properties where you get almost forced to do a safari with them

Accoglienti, disponibili, hanno organizzato un ottimo Safari a Yala. Ottimo cibo. Vicino a casa si vedono anche i pipistrelli della frutta e abbiamo addirittura visto un coccodrillo.

Le gros plus de la guest house est la gentillesse de notre hôte. Il nous a aidé pour venir en nous donnant les horaires de bus, au pied levé à 5h du matin il a remplacé le tuk tuk défaillant et il a tenu a nous emmener à la bus stand! Très bon petit déjeuner que ce soit en take away que sur place. Restauration sur place possible. Très au calme, restaurants à 15mn à pied.

Le lit est un peu juste en longueur pour des grands.

La stanza al piano terra è ampia, con bollitore e tè, il bagno ha una buona dimensione, i proprietari gentili e disponibili, le colazioni e la cena ottime; ci hanno anche accompagnato in auto alla stazione dei bus.

Molte zanzare; la stanza ha molte finestre che però non si possono aprire per privacy e risulta un po' buia.

Super homestay! The family are so nice, they let us stay for three hours extra whilst we were waiting for our taxi and offered us tea, coffee and a smoothie. We booked the safari tour with them and it was so worth it!! An added bonus was the welcome fresh coconut :)

I had such a wonderful stay at this homestay. The family went above and beyond to ensure that I had a great time, had everything I needed and was comfortable. The food was good, the safari experience, which they booked for me, was amazing, and I overall felt really cared for. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to do Yala Safari.

Lieu très calme à deux pas du lac, les chambres sont propres , les repas très bons . Nous avons pu organiser un safari dans le bloc 5 de Yala , avec le frère de notre hôte ,et notre chauffeur/guide était compétent et sympa :) Notre hôte nous a trouvé un chauffeur pour nous emmener à Tangalle et il était super ! La gentilezza dello staff compensa i piccoli difetti che però, per questo prezzo, non si possono sottolineare :) I proprietari della guest house ci hanno preparato un'ottima cena, ci hanno portato a fare il safari a Yala con la loro compagnia (Ottimo prezzo e ottimo servizio!!!) e di ritorno ci hanno rinfrescato con un bel cocco reale! Ci sono tantissimi insetti nella parte comune, dove si mangia, ma siamo in mezzo alla natura... è normale! GraZie

Wij hadden een super lieve host die meteen een frisse coconut voor ons gereed had en savonds met een fles water klaar stond, omdat wij er geen meer hadden. De airco in de kamer was een grote meerwaarde. En uiteindelijk de omgeving waar wd ons bevinden was top; in het groen, gezellige tuin, dichtbij verschillende meren en paradijs aan vogels. Het ontbijt was goed. We kregen egg hoppers, beetje fruit, pannekoek en speciale lekkernij die we nog niet geproefd hadden.

Een zeer belangrijk aspect zijn de faciliteiten en die vielen tegen. Het bed was echt niet goed. De matras was nog geen 10 cm dik waardoor je niet comfortabel lag en het zelfs pijn deed je op je zij te leggen. Een extra matras is zeker aan de orde! De badkamer was klein en het kraantje om je handen te wassen of tanden te poetsen werkte niet. Zo moesten we steeds de douche gebruiken waardoor de hele badkamer nat was. Ook hier moet dus even naar gekeken worden

Amazing value for money! Staff were very hospitable, we were picked up from the bus station and greeted with a coconut! The room was clean and had ac, we did the safari with them and it was amazing! It included a breakfast which was also great, after the safari we returned to the hostel and had all the time we needed to gather our things and we were given a papaya smoothie each! We were then dropped into town by the them too! Couldn’t ask for any better hospitality!

Super liebe Gastfreundliche Familie, wurden mit einer Kokosnuss in Empfang genommen. Aßen auch zu Abend ganz klassisch gebratener Reis für wenig Geld und total lecker 🤗 Uns wurde dann auch noch ein Taxi nach Arugam Bay organisiert. Alles in allem ein optimaler Aufenthalt. Wird auf jeden Fall weiterempfohlen!!

Absolutely amazing guest house, we loved our stay here. We were greeted with fresh cold coconuts, the room was huge, clean and really comfortable. The family were so lovely and the food is absolutely delicious, we had dinner both nights and breakfast. The family were also really kind helping us navigate the local busses to and from the guest house, they even picked us up and dropped us off at the bus station (helping us on to the bus) for free when we left! Hands down one of the best guesthouses we have stayed in. They also helped us with arranging a full day safari, which we did with their family’s company (there was absolutely no pressure to do this at all) and wow it was Amazing, we had such a fun day, saw so many incredible animals that’s to our very experienced guide, and the breakfast and lunch were brilliant, would highly recommend doing you safari with them.

These folks are super nice. The stay was pleasant. It was a very good jumping off spot to do a Yala Safari.

It's a bit of a hike to eateries and such, but there's nothing to be done about that.

The owner is so nice. He welcomed us with cool coconut and helped with anything we needed including drive to the bus station after our stay. The breakfasts are worth the money. We recommend this stay to everyone.

The location was great for us having some beautiful walks nearby by the lake shore , the lake having plenty of wildlife. A very clean and charming place to stay with great hosts who went the extra mile to show us a local beauty spot and take us to the bus station when we departed. They also organised us a safari with good man and vehicle. I recommend eating there. Our host cooked a great Khottu.

Los anfitriones se portaron genial. Vinieron a buscarnos a la parada del autobús y nos llevaron también a la estación cuando nos íbamos. Sin pedirnos más dinero. Además, nos ayudaron con todo lo que necesitamos. La habitación estaba muy bien. Recomendable 100%.

I have stayed in 6 different places around Sri Lanka by now and this was the best one of them so far. Everything was perfect. Hospitality was incredible, including the host picking me up from the bus stop just because he was around. The room was perfect, very clean, with air-con AND a fan. I ordered dinner when I artived and it was freshly made and very tasty. Breakfast in the morning was to die for. Huge and tasty, including the best dahl I've had so far. I would give this place a 15 if I could, it was so perfect!

La maison est idéalement bien placée à 2 pas du lac pour observer les chauves-souris et proche du centre ville. Les hôtes sont très sympathiques. Ils nous ont offert une noix de coco fraîche à notre arrivée que nous avons fortement appréciée. Le safari qu'il nous ont organisé dans le bloc 5 était fabuleux. Nous avons vu 3 léopards et le guide Asanka était fantastique. Un grand moment pour nous. Nous avons également mangé chez eux et les plats étaient très bons. Merci pour tout.

Super nice hosts! I had a warm welcome, amd they made sure that I'll see the most while I'm there. Room is comfortable and quiet. I even got a bonus breakfast which was very sweet. Would recommend this place if you are in Tissamahara!

La famiglia che la gestisce è molto gentile e disponibile, c’è la possibilità di pranzare o cenare lì. La struttura è molto pulita e volendo ti possono organizzare i safari per lo Yala e l’Udawalawe National Park, a prezzi più convenienti che i normali tour

La chambre était très propre, tout était à disposition. Le petit déjeuner était très copieux tout comme les repas proposés. La famille est très accueillante et se rend disponibles pour vous aider dans les déplacements et les différents endroits à visiter parler haute température. La noix de coco d’accueil est très appréciable et la visite au coucher du soleil pour voir les oiseaux et les crocodiles est génial !

The breakfast was exceptional, and our host was lovely, very welcoming and gave us helpful tips around Tissa. Would highly recommend.

I‘ve had the most wonderful stay. The tour guide for the safari was organized by my host and was one of the very experienced drivers. I also got recommendations for dinner, was taken for bird watching, was driven to the bus station and all the time my host made sure that I felt comfortable and everything worked out. Big thank you again!

The host and his brother were wonderful!! They offered transportation from Tangalle, and even offered to take me to look for crocodiles at a lake nearby. The host provided a welcome drink upon arrival and also the following day when I returned from the safari (which they also helped organize!). The room was fine, a bit dated but the bathroom was very clean! I also ordered dinner from the host which was delicious.

My only criticism is that there was a small crack in the window which let mosquitoes in.

Le gérant nous a amener faire un tour au lac pour voir les crocodiles et les chauves souris le soir. Highly recommend this place, very lovely family run this small guest house. The owner is a really nice guy, he pick me up when I arrived and drop me at bus station when I left all free of charge. When I arrived they offer a fresh coconut juice and also after the safari gave a fresh papaya juice. Also had dinner there and the food was really nice!

The guesthouse is close by the lake and by foot 10 min to the main road to have some food. The safari as really nice as well, but there is no extra guide if you prefer so. The driver was the guide. We booked the tour through the guesthouse. The room was perfect for a quick stay and the family was really nice and helped with everything. We also just got a juice after our safari from the host.

Zeer gastvrije vriendelijke mensen. Wij hadden van te voren onderweg een vervelend ongeval gehad, de eigenaar ging voor ons naar de apotheek om zalf te halen. Niks was te veel. Onbijt en dinner was ook goed.

Il proprietario ci ha accolti con un cocco da bere, ci ha portato successivamente un succo di papaya e ci ha lasciati usare la camera fino al primo pomeriggio del giorno del check-out. Suo fratello si occupava invece di trovare driver per le escursioni. La camera aveva aria condizionata, ventilatore, wifi e acqua calda. La struttura si trova a due passi dalla mega colonia di volpi volanti del lungolago, un luogo davvero affascinante. Nota negativa il letto, che non era per niente comodo e con un lenzuolo non ancorato che lasciava uscire il rivestimento sottostante. Qua e là era anche un po' impolverato...

De eigenaren waren heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Je kon alles vragen en ze dachten overal over mee. Ze haalde ons zelfs op van en brachten ons naar de bushalte!

Er was niet heel veel te doen in de omgeving. Alleen Yala nationaal park, dus 1 nacht is echt genoeg!

Nice room located on the second floor. Comfortable bed in a good sized room. The included Sri Lankan breakfasts were excellent. We also ate dinner at the guest house which was excellent. We arranged our safari through the guesrhouse for a very good rate, and had a great safari experience in Yala National Park. The included breakfast for our 6 hour safari was also very good.

Fantastic host and lovely family. Nothing was too much trouble. He collected us from the bus stop free of charge when we arrived, organised an excellent Yala safari with a very good guide, organised a very reasonably priced tuktuk when we want to visit a particular temple and fed us really well, with lots of variations both at dinner and at breakfast. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Sehr schönes, großes uns sehr sauberes Zimmer. Wurden mit Kokosnußdrink empfangen, am Abend gab es kostenlosen selbstgemachten Papayasaft. Chef hat uns feüh morgens vor der Safari Kaffee, Tee und Bananen serviert, obwohl wir kein Frühstück gebucht hatten. Tolle Unterkunft, alle sehr freundlich, gerne wieder.

The place is nice the all family take care . The owner was very friendly he come to pick us in bus station than all guests he bring to make a small tour around the lake that was very beautiful. We had a good stay to this home .

We bought the safari from him but I don’t know was it worth it as half day to expensive for that very short tour.

Chambre très propre. La maison est située juste au bord du lac où, le soir, des chauves-souris géantes quittent les grands arbres pour chercher leur nourriture. Les repas étaient très bons. La ville est à 1 km à pied, mais la visite est plus agréable si on loue un vélo ou un scooter. Grâce à l'hôte, qui m'a accompagné avec sa voiture, j'ai visité de nombreux temples. Tissa est un village unique, avec de grandes rizières et une vie bouddhiste très forte. Les touristes devraient venir plus nombreux ! Very clean room. The house is located right on the lake where, in the evening, giant bats leave the big trees to look for food. The meals were very good. The city is 1 km away on foot, but the visit is more pleasant if you rent a bike or scooter. Thanks to the host, who accompanied me with his car, I visited many temples. Tissa is a unique village, with large rice fields and a very strong Buddhist life. More tourists should come!

I can't say enough great things about this homestay! They arranged our transfer from Ella and arranged a morning and afternoon safari for us. We were greeted with a delicious cold coconut water, in the coconut. We chose the breakfast and dinner option which makes so much sense because the town is a bit of a walk and after a safari all day (4:30 am to 6:30 pm) it is great to have dinner at the homestay. Both dinners we had were excellent, I think the best food we've had in Sri Lanka! They also pack a breakfast to go on your safari day because of leaving so early. When you wake up they have coffee and bananas for you before leaving. Our room was a great size, ac and hot water worked well. The owners are very kind, friendly and even drove us to the bus stop, stayed with us and made sure we got on the right bus. I highly recommend Tissa Rainbow for your stay while exploring Yala National Park, you won't regret it!

This is not a criticism, just a suggestion. I suggest to add a side table to each side of the bed. It is awkward not having a place to put your phone, bottle of water etc. in the evening.

De gastvrijheid was hartverwarmend. De lokatie om de vleermuizen te zien was perfect. Het ontbijt en diner waren heerlijk.
