Dream Palace Family Guest House Mirissa , Beach 50m

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation. The property is spacious, peaceful, and offers a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always willing to assist with anything we needed. Their hospitality made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast was also delicious, with a great variety of tasty options. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

The personal wasn’t very nice. When we arrived, they tried to overcharge us for the room, which we didn’t agree with and therefore we didn’t get the room with balcony. We got a room with dirty, used cups and only a mattress protector, so no cover on top. The mattress protector was really dirty (brown spots all over). There were ants all over the place and when we complained at the end about this, he said that we had sweets on the floor and therefore there were ants. As I said, they were there before. We told him about how dirty everything was and he didn’t even try to apologize. Totally not worth it price/quality.

В номере нет питьевой воды! Вообще! Только за деньги. С таким столкнулись впервые. В день заселения в душевой был унитаз совсем не первой свежести(( При раннем отправлении куда-либо отказали в завтраке на вынос. Сами завтраки аж с 8 утра и они весьма скудные.

Posizione a pochissimi metri dalla spiaggia, le camere sono ampie e abbastanza pulite, il personale gentile e disponibile. Bagno essenziale ma con acqua caldissima Organizzano direttamente il Whales watching, poi serve la fortuna di vedere le balene.

I stayed at Dream Palace Family Guesthouse in February 2026 and it was an excellent experience. If you are visiting Mirissa, this is the place to be. The Location: It is perfectly central. We were steps away from Mirissa Beach and famous spots like ZOUK, but it’s also the ideal base to explore nearby beaches like Hiriketiya, Blue Beach Island, Weligama, and Ahangama. Weligam was a clam beach ,where my brother & myself had enrolled for our Surf classes, after the coaching , to experience surfing all by yourself is like an addiction hard to let go off :D The Stay: Rooms: Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast: Hearty and delicious—the best way to start a day of exploring. Service: The staff were so polite and handled all our ad-hoc requests without hesitation. Whale & Dolphin Watching: The guesthouse arranged our whale watching tour. We were lucky enough to spot several dolphins! Even without the sightings, the 3-hour ferry ride into the Indian Ocean was an amazing, peaceful experience. Highly recommend Dream Palace for great vibes and a perfect location!

Przestępne czyste lobby. Całkiem dobre śniadanie w stylu lankijskim. Dobra lokalizacja.

Mój pokój nie miał okna na zewnątrz. Ściany mocno obdrapane i brudne.

Colazione triste e ripetitiva Non sono stato accontentato in nulla . A partire da un semplice yogurt che volevo non fruttato, a finire a uova bollite che non so per quale motivo non so potevano fare. Camera vecchia e datata.

An amazing location with a short 1 minute walk to Mirissa Beach. The front of the hotel was also on the main drag where all the restaurants and stores were. The staff were very nice displaying kindness and care and helpfulness.

Nothing to complain about. The room was simple, but clean and air conditioning worked well.

Расположение очень удобное. Все в шаговой доступности - пляж, кафе, магазины, остановки автобуса. Пляж центральный рядом, но мы ходили на более чистый и спокойный - черепаший, что тоже недалеко. В номере есть все, что приведено в описании. По нашей просьбе дали дополнительное порывало. Кровать удобная. В ванной - в неограниченном количестве шампунь, мыло, кондиционер для волос, что редкость для отелей Шри (мы встречали либо выдачу одноразовых по количеству гостей, либо полное отсутствие туалетных принадлежностей). Завтраки обычные для Шри Ланки (яйца, йогурт, тосты, фрукты, выпечка, кофе, чай), нам было вполне достаточно. Взяли предложенную в отеле экскурсию на китов у организатора Raja & the Whales, остались довольны.

Простыня не соответствует размеру кровати, слишком мала, сбивалась, что было не очень комфортно. Об этом в отзывах уже писали,, но ситуация, как видно, не поменялась. У нас был ранний выезд (накануне в 10 вечера). Попросили заранее завтрак в ланч-боксе. Нам отказали - "невозможно". Не понятно, что невозможного в йогурте и банане? Это первый отель, в котором мы получили отказ, всегда выдается оплаченный завтрак. Казалось бы мелочь, но неприятно. Мы и так не спрашивали у отеля завтрак при раннем отправлении на экскурсию, поскольку там давали завтрак на борту. Так что минус 24 доллара нашим отельерам в карму. При выезде ворота стали закрывать прямо у нас перед носом, пока мы еще ждали машину. Не подождали даже 10 минут. Было неприятно, к тому же неудобно загружаться.

Proximity to the beach. I love the waves but my partner could not!

Could have left cofee/ tea bags in the room , as the cafe opens at 8.00 am. Even out side there is no place drink coffee or tea as most of the place opens after 8 am.

Attitude were not nice, for water You need to pay seperate, in breakfast dirty forks and knives, sorry, but this was my 5th place in Sri Lanka, before I was sleeping not in Hotels, but private guest houses, never I got this bad service. Also very loud place it is on the street, take Your ear plugs.

Super nettes Personal! Sehr hilfsbereit! Wenn man wie will, werden jeden Tag die Zimmer geputzt! Nur ca. 50 m zum herrlichen Strand! Ohrenstöpsel wären ratsam, da es an der Hauptstraße liegt! Auch Strandtücher, Handtücher zum Duschen, Kühlschrank, Klima u. Ventilator, Moskitonetz am Bett, obwohl dieses nicht wirklich gebraucht wird, großes Bad mit Dusche u. WC! TukTuk warten gehenüber! Frühstück einfach aber gut! Preis/Leistung jedenfalls hervorragend! Kommen bald wieder!

Большие номера. Хороший горячий душ. Стабильный быстрый вайфай. Завтрак один на каждый день, но очень насыщенный и всесторонний. Отзывчивый хост. Есть место посидеть вечером на крыше в компании милых ящерок. Можно постирать вещи.

Сложно найти к чему придираться, но странно заправлена кровать, постоянно все съезжает. Других недостатков нет

Персонал очень отзывчивый и доброжелательный. Впервые за 2 недели на Шри Ланке попался номер в котором нет звуков с улицы и удалось выспаться!

Как и везде в недорогих гестхаусах нет шкафа, ржавый вентилятор, старинное бельё. Кондиционер не поддается регулировке и дует как зверь.

Very close to the beautiful beach, very helpful staff

We really enjoyed staying there, it was close to the beach, as well as close to many restaurants and shops on the main street. The room was nice and clean and had everything we needed. The manager also provoded us with taxi service for good prices and gave us useful information diring our stay in Mirissa.

Extra charges were charged for using credit card of 2.5%. A/c not working when I arrived and a bunch of people stayed in my room for almost a couple of hours fixing it. I couldn’t rest at the crucial time to be freshened up for the new year event.

Rooms were specious and clean. property was close to the beach. Breakfast was OK.

Staff were really nice and attentive, they helped book a whale watching tour and also with our laundry. The hotel is right next to the beach and lots of fantastic restaurants.

It was all slightly dated and could do with a bit of a face lift. We had a view of the wall from our window so the room was a bit dark.

Brudne ściany z zwisającym kurzem. brak kontaktu przed przyjazdem z hotelem pomimo wielokrotnych prób - pisania i dzwonienia. Nieprzyjemne było to, że gdy chciałam zaprosić rodzinę do hotelu na krótką, spokojną rozmowę, pracownik natychmiast do nas podbiegł i próbował nas wyprosić, mimo że nie było hałasu ani zakłócania porządku, a dopiero po dłuższej rozmowie zgodził się nas wpuścić. Kraty drewniane nad drzwiami przez to wszystko z korytarza było słychać w pokoju. Śniadania były monotonne. Cena hotelu była wygórowana.

Безусловным плюсом отеля Dream Palace Family Guesthouse является удобное расположение, прямо в сердце Мириссы, всего в паре минут ходьбы от прекрасного песчаного пляжа. Вход в море плавный и удобный, волны умеренные, что важно для семей с детьми, можно покататься на пенке, взяв доску напрокат. На пляже достаточно места, чтобы укрыться под тенистыми пальмами и деревьями, создающими приятную прохладу даже в жаркий день. Вокруг полно кафе и ресторанов, предлагающих блюда местной кухни по вполне доступным ценам. Есть продуктовый маркет, магазины сувениров. Остановка транспорта у входа. Атмосфера спокойствия и комфорта, созданная гостеприимством персонала и продуманностью пространства, позволяет насладиться отдыхом в полной мере. Ребята молодцы. Завтраки традиционные для бюджетного гостевого дома, без изысков и соответствуют уровню в целом. Dream Palace Family Guesthouse - отличный выбор для Мириссы и мои искренние рекомендации. Всем добра.

Хороший отель расположенный в центре Мериссы, океан в 50 метрах. Просторые номера, оформлено под дерево. Есть всё необходимое, очень доброжелательный персонал, вкусные завтраки.

Всё понравился, не хотелось уезжать.

Добра локация. Мили и отзивчиви хора, които са винаги на разположение. Много чисто и приятно. На една минута от плажа , а автобусната спирка е пред хотела. Благодаря ви!

Малко е шумно от основната улица, но извадихме късмет да сме във вътрешна стая, иначе можеше да се чуват вълните на океана.

Отель расположен в очень удобном месте - пляж 50 м через кафе. Вечером там многолюдно, живая музыка. Рядом с отелем остановка, супермаркет, алкомаркет, много магазинов с сувениркой и одеждой. Отель слегка уставший, скоро потребует косметического ремонта внутри. Нам достался номер на 3 этаже с "шикарным" видом из окна... на стену 😁 ну не страшно - нэмы сюда приехали не из окна смотреть на остров. Но естественного света было маловато из-за этого. Огромная нескрепучая кровать компенсировала это недоразумение. В номере было всё необходимое - холодильник, шкаф, стол, стулья, чайник, кондиционер и вентилятор и даже сейф. Приятным бонусом были полотенца для пляжа. Большая ванная комната с шампунем, мылом и прочим. Вода горячая была всегда. Персонал отеля ненавязчивый, очень дружелюбный. Завтраки были включены в стоимость и это была яичница в разных вариантах. + хлеб, масло, йогурты, кофе и свежие фрукты. Сытно.

Отель сам по себе тихий, постояльцы не шумели. Но над дверьми стоят вентиляционные решётки - по сути слышно, что происходит в коридоре, а в коридоре могут услышать, что происходит в номере. Кран в душе постоянно перекрывал воду своей тяжестью - просто выставлял необходимую температуру и снимал этот кран - русская смекалка. Завтраки можно разнообразить.

We got this place because of the location although it is on the main road the room was quiet. We left after 1 night

The room was so simple it reminded me of a Thailand sweat box from the 90’s Open slates on door and loud in hallway It is 50 m to beach which means 3 hotels off the beach. The no cancelation policy is an issue

Perfectly locatee in Mirissa. Few steps away grom the beach , and very much accesible to the coplest restaurant like Lava, paragon etc. they can also booked you a whale watching tour via Raja and the whale. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The rooms were spacious and clean, the rooftop terrace was great, the breakfast was yummy and plentiful, the staff were lovely, the location was great.

The accommodation was in a great location, clean and very spacious room with air conditioning. Bathroom, shower and toilet very clean. The hosts were very nice, helpful and always gave advice. Breakfast was great. 100% recommend

Tuktukfahrer vor der Tür schicken in Landessprache Ubertaxis weg, damit man mit ihnen zum absolut überteuerten Preis fährt und haben uns gedroht! Hotelleitung hat direkt eingegriffen und uns unterstützt

Preis und die Lage top. Zimmer mit Klimaanlage und innerhalb von 2 Minuten am Strand. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Отличный отель с хорошим деревянным интерьером. В номерах кондиционер, вентилятор, сейф, холодильник, чайник. Хорошая сантехника. Очень чисто. Дают даже пляжные полотенца. Завтрак на хорошей дорогой посуде. Идеальное расположение в 50 метрах от пляжа . С удовольствием вернулись бы снова.
