Sigiri Regal Residence

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay! The room was very clean and breakfast was delicious every morning. The owner and his wife were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and they helped us arrange our safari and Dambulla trip. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

Lovely family who is very helpful. The room is also specious and comfortable with a hot shower.

We loved our stay, Sisira and his wife, the owners, are lovely and so helpful, he helped us to organize all our excursions. The rooms are big and clean, and the property is perfectly located, close enough to the main road but in a quiet area. The breakfast was a real treat, we discovered something new everyday. We are very grateful for our stay there and we truly recommend staying there

Хорошее место, чтобы посмотреть Сигирию. Всего сдается два номера, которые мы и заняли с друзьями. Больше никто нас не беспокоил. Домик стоит в прекрасном саду. Территория огорожена, есть парковка. Хозяева живут рядом в другом домике, всегда готовы помочь. Поскольку были на машине, то до основных достопримечательностей не было сложностей доехать. Тем, кто без авто - придется нанимать тук-тук. Номера просторные, чистые. Нам было комфортно!

We had a fantastic 3 night stay. The hosts are lovely and go above and beyond to help organised activities and make recommendations. The breakfast was traditional and plentiful with something new each day. We would highly recommend staying here.

Les deux chambres étaient spacieuses et ressemblantes aux photos ! Situées dans le jardin de la maison des hôtes. Les logements étaient propres et chaque chambre disposait de sa propre salle de bain. Bien placé à côté de Sigiriya et des activités à faire dans la ville. Les hôtes étaient adorables et très accueillants. Nous sommes arrivés tard le soir mais ils se sont montrés serviables et disponibles même à une heure tardive. Les petits déjeuner sont excellents et variés, dégustés sur leur terrasse ! Vraiment comme à la maison ! Je recommande vivement 😊

Superbe découverte. L'hébergement est situé dans le jardin des hôtes, seulement deux chambres dans un jardin verdoyant, très paisible, suffisamment loin de la toute principale. Le petit déjeuner est servi sur la terrasse des hôtes, il est excellent, différent tous les jours, préparé par les hôtes. La famille est aux petits soins, toujours prêts à vous conseiller pour les excursions que vous voulez faire, sans jamais être insistants, ils vous trouvent les meilleures personnes aux meilleurs prix pour vous accompagner dans vos périples. Le monsieur parle parfaitement l'anglais et même un petit peu français ! Nous en gardons un magnifique souvenir et nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Notre séjour a été un vrai plaisir. La chambre et la salle de bain étaient d’une propreté irréprochable et tout fonctionnait à merveille. L’hôte, toujours attentif, fait de son mieux pour faciliter le séjour de ses invités, que ce soit pour la location d’un scooter, l’organisation d’un tour en tuk-tuk… ou même en nous offrant plusieurs fois de délicieuses noix de coco fraîches du jardin ! Il nous a aussi proposé un service de lavage de notre linge. Le cadre est magnifique, avec une jolie terrasse devant les chambres, parfaite pour se détendre. Et que dire du petit-déjeuner : généreux, savoureux et préparé avec soin, un vrai régal !

Miałyśmy ogromną przyjemność zatrzymać się w tym miejscu podczas naszej podróży. Pokój był bardzo czysty, zadbany i komfortowy – wszystko, czego potrzebowałyśmy, było na miejscu. Łóżko wygodne, klimatyzacja działała bez zarzutu, a całość urządzona z gustem i dbałością o szczegóły. Gospodyni to anioł – przesympatyczna, zawsze uśmiechnięta, przy zameldowaniu przywitała nas pyszną herbatką.

Nous avons a-do-ré notre hébergement sur tous les points! La chambre et la salle de bain son excessivement propres, les lits sont confortables, il y a la clim et la fan. Il y a un bel espace en face de la chambre pour regarder le magnifique jardin de l'hôte. De son côté, l'hôte s'est montré très disponible; il nous propose de belles activités et peut nous transporter dans son tuktuk. Il est attachant et nous avons senti qu'il aurait fait n'importe quoi pour nous aider à apprécier notre séjour. Nous recommandons à 100%.

I proprietari sono stati davvero accoglienti con noi e sempre pronti ad aiutarci per qualsiasi cosa. La camera era grande e spaziosa, anche il bagno era molto grande. Davanti alla stanza avevi un patio privato con sedie e tavolino. Posto in mezzo alla natura perfetto per rilassarsi.

מארח נפלא, משפחה נפלאה. קיבלו אותנו בנדיבות ובמאור פנים. בעל הבית הראה לנו כלי נגינה מקומיים, וניגנו יחד ואפילו זכינו לשמוע את הבת המוזיקאית שלו מתופפת. נהנינו מארוחות הבוקר הנהדרות, מהמיקום השקט, מהמרפסת הנעימה והחדרים המצוחצחים. תודה רבה לך על שהייה נפלאה 🙏🩷

Nos encantó todo. Desayunamos allí los dos días que estuvimos y fue todo un acierto. Los propietarios del alojamiento fueron encantadores con nosotros y aprendimos mucho con ellos. Muy contentos de la experiencia que vivimos.

Fijne kamers en lekkere stoelen op eigen terras. Hele vriendelijke eigenaar die ons met van alles wilde helpen. Heeft zelfs onze was gedaan. We hebben hier een heerlijke tijd gehad!

Sisira and his wife are wonderful person, very attentive and full of good advice! You can go there without hesitation!! You can go to pidurangala or sigiriya by walking from the house,if you want or good restaurant very close.

Nice clean location and facilities. Good location close in town. Good air conditioning.

Dogs need to be controlled, we would be barked and snarled at each time we enter the property.

The family who own the property were so lovely, could not do enough and had so much to tell us about the area. Great location, off the main road but still close enough to everything. Would 100% recommend!

The hosts were so friendly and kind - they served a lovely breakfast with fruits, bread, eggs and pancakes!! They truly went out of their way to make sure we had an excellent stay. The room itself is very spacious and clean. There is hot water, AC, comfortable beds - everything you could want and need. Would highly recommend this hidden gem in Sigiriya

WiFi can drop out when it rains but this is like it everywhere in Sigiriya. It was not a problem for our stay

Great and lovely accomodation. Big and very clean rooms. A/C is working very well. Located very good and still quiet. The host family lives in a seperate house on the property. They are really really nice and very helpful with everything. Breakfast was also offered and delicious. Can only recommend staying here.

Surrounded by the nature and I could feel the beauties of it. Sunlight, birds, moon and stars in the night. Going out to famous places was good but sitting and feeling the nature was also good experience for me.

We had really wonderful time at Sigiri Regal Residence. We liked this wonderful, peaceful place, big and clean rooms, very kind and helpful owner, generous and tasteful breakfasts, birds in the garden. Good place for visiting Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa.

A very pleasant place for vacation as well as for tourism. Close to Sigiriya Rock as well as Damdulla. The family was very kind and responsive, always ready to help us in any way they could. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast every morning was more than we could eat, delicious and different every day. I highly recommend!

Two seperate ensuite bedrooms separate from their house on a quiet street. Our host was extremely hospitable and was beyond helpful. It’s a street behind a busy street so very little noise. Super cold ac, very clean rooms. Please stay to support this lovely family.

We loved this stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with a big bathroom. They were surrounded by nature too it was very peaceful. The owners were so kind, friendly and made us a delicious breakfast. They also greeted us with mango juice and had a moped that we could rent during our stay. Would definitely recommend.

We can’t recommend this place enough. You start each morning with amazing Sri Lankan breakfast. Every day you get a litre of bottled water and plenty of fruits. We basically always left with some extra food as a take away for the rest of the day. There is no better way to experience domestic breakfast than this. The place was really clean and there was unlimited hot water with great pressure. You can choose whether to use an AC or a fan, or even a both. WiFi was also great. There are plenty of restaurants around within 15min walking distance and the rest are just a 5 min away with a TukTuk which will cost you no more than 2$ for one way. The owners are always there to help you with any informations and they are so kind that we felt like a part of the family during the whole stay. It was really hard to leave. 10/10 Much love!

Amazing place with wonderful host ! He and his lovely wife provided wonderful service, also he took as with his tuktuk everywhere we need. Was very helpful and lovely. Highly recommend!

The garden is beautiful and the room was clean and spacious. The room had ac which was nice given the heat. The bed was very comfortable and the owners are the sweetest people. We got fresh coconut when we arrived which they cut from their own trees. The owner lend us his moped for a reasonable price, which was great to get around town, to lion’s rock and to the lake.

The wifi wasn’t so good.

Wonderful breakfasts - fresh fruit and homemade local specialties. Sistra and his charming wife will also provide quite outstanding evening meals on request. The two evening meals I had here were definitely the best I had anywhere in Sri Lanka ( and food in Sri Lanka is delicious everywhere) And the garden is beautiful and peaceful, yet only 5 minutes from Sigiriya rock. Only 2 delightful bungalows, and exceptional value. You won’t be disappointed I assure you. 👏

I loved everything and wish that I could stay much longer.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the owners were amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting.
