Die Location ist besonders leibevoll geführt! Auch geeignet für die Hochzeitsreise, zur Eingewöhnung in Sri Lanka. Der Chef, Nelson orgt auch gerne die Touren oder die Weiterfahrt und ...ist ein Mega Koch, der auch in der Küche billiert hat. Meine Tocher war megaglücklich. Danke ihr Lieben wir kommen wieder!

Der Regen, doch die Location ist so gut, dass es egal war durch das sehr schnelle und stabile Netz.

Die Unterkunft war mit ganz viel Liebe eingerichtet. Man hat sich direkt wohl gefühlt. Die Betreiber sind super nett und immer hilfsbereit. Das Essen, was Nelson jeden Abend gezaubert hat, war einfach unschlagbar.

Um zur nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeit zu gelangen braucht man idealerweise ein Tuk Tuk. Der Weg fußläufig ist aufgrund der hohen Temperaturen etwas erschwerlich.

We really loved the relaxed atmosphere at La Perla. It felt like a home away from home, and the staff were very attentive and informative about the local area. The food was also delicious!

Rooms are very clean, beautifully decorated, big and comfortable. Bathroom is perfect.

Check out time 10am. My mistake I didnt check this before booking, I wouldnt do it. A man from the staff started sweeping with the broom around my legs at 9.30am, as if I had to leave as soon as possible. Bad feeling while trying to have my first coffee of the Day, before leaving. No complimentary water in the room, price 350 per bottle. Not a big deal but everywhere in Sri Lanka we had at least one bottle in the room free. Train sounds, the Railway is right next to the property. Restaurant is very expensive in the property, we didnt try anything, a normal meal around 15$ in this country.....No thanks! Not a Normal espresso coffee machine, at this expensive Restaurant, this is a must.

Ens va encantar la nostra estada! Sens dubte, un dels punts forts és l’atenció de tot el personal: superatents i amables en tot moment, sempre pendents de si necessitàvem alguna cosa i de que tot estigués bé. Ens vam sentir molt cuidats durant tota l’estada. El lloc és preciós, molt cuidat i amb molt d’encant. Ens van enamorar especialment tots els detalls amb floretes i pètals, que feien que l’espai fos encara més especial i bonic. 🌸 I un altre punt destacadíssim és el sopar. El peix fresc estava espectacular! Vam demanar tonyina i peix blanc i estava realment boníssim, un 10/10. Sens dubte, repetiríem tant per l’hospitalitat com pel menjar. Una experiència de 10!

Přivítání s květinou, celou dobu velmi ochotný personál, krásná zahrada,bazén,jídlo od Nelsona skvělé!!! Poslední den jsme mohli opustit pokoj až odpoledne a vše využívat, díky tomu jsme si užili nádherný poslední den před večerním odletem.Děkujeme Alessandro a Nelsone!

Alex und Nelson sind sehr herzliche und Menschen, die ihren Gästen gerne helfen, einen unbeschwerten Aufenthalt zu haben. Wäsche, Transfers, Moped - mit all diesen Sachen kann man sich verlässlich an sie wenden. Wir haben das sehr genossen. Dann noch die netten Gespräche und als Krönung Nelsons Kochkünste!

Это место стало нашим прекрасным началом знакомства со Шри-Ланкой! Останавливались всего на два дня, но впечатления остались незабываемые. Хочется начать с гостеприимства. Нас встретили очень тепло и пошли навстречу — разрешили заселиться раньше без всякой дополнительной платы, что после дороги было особенно приятно. Номер уютный, чистый, и что очень порадовало: даже за короткое пребывание в 2 дня нам безупречно убирали и пополняли мини-бар. Персонал здесь внимательный и доброжелательный. Расположение — супер! До моря буквально 2 минуты пешком, пляж при этом пустынный и спокойный. Рядом есть пара кафе, но... Но главный бриллиант этого отеля — это ЕДА! То, что готовят в La Perla Bentota, выше всяких похвал. Сейчас мы переезжаем в другую локацию, и я уже боюсь, что вкуснее морепродуктов мы больше нигде не попробуем. Это был кулинарный восторг! Отдельная огромная благодарность Нельсону (как я понял, это хозяин или соучредитель). Нельсон — пример того, как нужно вести бизнес и заботиться о гостях. Он помогал нам со всеми вопросами, организовал отличные экскурсии, но самое главное — вместе со своей командой он творит кулинарное волшебство. Приятным бонусом стала оплата при выселении. Счет абсолютно прозрачный, честный и очень приятно удивил. Если вы ищете место в Бентоте — даже не смотрите в сторону других вариантов. Смело останавливайтесь в La Perla Bentota. Это любовь с первого захода!

De huisjes En de inrichting van het complex zo smaakvol en overal bloemetjes.Ook op de kamer. Top locatie 150 meter lopen Het spoor over en je bent bij het strand.Uurtje lopen zonder veel toeristen naar het plaatsje en met tuk tuk of heen of terug. Kamers worden elke dag schoongemaakt.Koffie en thee op de kamer Heerlijk ontbijt.Ligbedden bij het huisje en 2 stoelen .Badlakens. Alles zeer smaakvol. Je kunt eten bij de accomodatie.Aan het strand zit de Wave waar je ook heerlijk kunt liggen op een bedje of romantisch kunt eten voor een eerlijke prijs.

Einfach schön, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Alle sind super freundlich, man ist gleich am Strand, saubere Zimmer, Liegen auf der Terrasse, netter kleiner Pool, und leckeres Essen.

From the moment we arrived, Alex, Nelson and all the staff made us feel so welcome with their friendly, kind and caring approach. Our room, overlooking the pool, was very spacious with its own terrace and seating. It was cleaned daily and fresh flowers were a very nice surprise. Food was fantastic. We ate at La Perla every evening of our stay. Why go anywhere else when wonderful meals are prepared in the outdoor kitchen by Nelson and his fantastic team. The fresh fish dishes are incredible. The beach is a 5 minutes walk away and provides wonderful walks along long sandy beaches. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

If we could give more than 10 we would.

Es hat uns alles sehr gefallen. Nelson als Koch war phantastisch, Alex immer sehr hilfsbereit, die ganze Crew extrem nett. Die Zimmer, die Lage dicht am besten Strand von Sri Lanka. Einfach traumhaft.

La Perla Bentota est un cocon idyllique pour votre séjour. Les bungalows, d'une propreté irréprochable, sont disposés autour d'une piscine bordée de palmiers, au cœur d'un jardin soigneusement entretenu. Mais le véritable atout de cet établissement est son hôte, Nelson. En plus d'être un excellent cuisinier proposant des repas aussi fins que copieux, il répond avec une grande réactivité à toutes les sollicitations. Bien plus qu'un formidable gestionnaire, il a à cœur de faire plaisir à ses clients, et cela se ressent sincèrement. Un grand merci également à son épouse Alexandra, ainsi qu'à l'ensemble du personnel qui a été aux petits soins.

Un accueil très amical de Nelson et Alex . Le professionnalisme et la gentillesse de tout le personnel. Les petits déjeuners excellents ! Nelson a la cuisine le soir pour nous préparer de délicieux dîners. Bonne ambiance entre clients, même si nous n'étions que les seuls Français ! La proximité de la plage qui peut-être dangereuse certains jours. La facilité pour se déplacer en Tuk Tuk ! La chambre spacieuse et très propre avec de jolies hibiscus tous les jours sur le lit ! Merci à Nelson, Alex et toute l'équipe ! On se souviendra de ce séjour très agréable et très sympathique chez vous !

Området kring poolen är ganska full med växtlighet så svårt att sola o bada på hotellet.

The room was gorgeous, overlooking the pool with a lovely patio. It was Spacious and comfortable with excellent amenities. The staff were all wonderful, so helpful and friendly. The room was cleaned daily and we really appreciated the daily fresh flowers. The food was some of the best we've had, with a superb breakfast and an evening meal with amazing fresh fish and curries cooked in the outside kitchen by the superbly talented Nelson , our host. We loved the garden of the property and the cleanliness of the whole place.

There was nothing we didn't like

Es hat uns wirklich rund herum gefallen. Die Bungalows sind direkt zum wohl fühlen. Das Personal liest jedem Gast die Wünsche von den Augen ab. Alex und Nelson sind tolle Gastgeber, es wird jeden Abend frisch gekocht und auch da ganz nach den Wünschen des Gastes. Wer möchte, kann über die Unterkunft unternehmen buchen und wird mit privatem Fahrer zu den entsprechenden Orten ( Ella, Nationalparks…) der Insel gefahren.

Es gab nichts was uns gestört hat!

Sehr nettes Personal. Nelson und seine Frau Alex haben sich sehr um das Wohl der Gäste gekümmert. Im Weiteren war das von Nelson zubereitete Essen sensationell.

Nelson and his team are second to none. No request is too big or too small, and they are always there with a friendly smile to make you feel welcome. The food is exceptional, and Nelson is a very accomplished chef who will make you anything you desire. The setting is also devine, a real oasis of calm and peace, absolutely perfect for a quiet, relaxing getaway that's a stones throw from a beautiful beach and a short drive from Bentona Town.

My only issue was a lack of sun bathing facilities. There are sun loungers outside your room, but these are often shaded. This may suit many people who are looking for a bit of respite from the sun, but from a personal perspective, I would have liked an area that was more sunbathing friendly. The beach is literally a 2 minute walk away, though, so this is a great option if you want to go and catch some rays.

Ubytování v La Perla bylo naprosto úžasné! ❤️ Nádherná zahrada plná zeleně vytváří dokonalou atmosféru klidu a pohody. K dispozici je krásný bazén, kde si můžete skvěle odpočinout. Snídaně byly moc dobré a vždy čerstvé. Personál byl velmi milý a ochotný a majitelé jsou naprosto skvělí lidé – přátelští a vstřícní. Nelson – nejlepší kuchař! 👌 Jeho večeře byly naprosto výborné a pokaždé jsme si opravdu pochutnali. Obrovským bonusem je krásná pláž hned přes silnici, kde je minimum lidí, takže si ji můžete užít téměř sami. Moc doporučujeme, určitě se sem rádi vrátíme! 🌴✨ Jana, Michal a Honzik 🍀

We loved how quiet it was, staff was amazing always ready to help. Best beach we stayed at in Sri Lanka was right across the street. It was the best breakfast we had on our whole trip. If you want a quiet beautiful place to stay this is your place .

Ambiente perfecto para finalizar nuestro viaje, la playa más limpia y tranquila en la que hemos pasado toda la tarde, a 2 minutos andando desde la entrada del hotel. Todo el personal muy amable y atento a cualquier necesidad. Habitación amplia, limpia, aire acondicionado y ventilador en el techo, toallas tanto de ducha como para llevarte a la playa. 💯 Repetiría sin duda! 😄

very relaxing stay, Nelson and his team couldnt do more to help us feel at home and the food was exceptional. we couldn't go back at the end of our trip as it was cut short due to unforseen circumstances but we will most definately stay here again on our trip next year.

La proprietaria di origine tedesca assieme al cuoco hanno mantenuto uno stampo locale alla struttura , con grande attenzione ad ogni dettaglio. Dettaglio particolare la cucina a vista e il cibo spettacolare servito da un cuoco esperto, molto gentile e simpatico.

Sehr schöner angelegter Garten. Mit viel Geschmack eingerichtete Zimmer . Ein sensationeller Gastgeber der mindestens genauso gut kochen kann. Danke, für einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt!

Unser Aufenthalt im La Perla war super. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Nelson ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber und es mangelte uns an nichts. Der Pool im wunderschönen Garten war top! Ein ruhiger Strand ist nur wenige Meter von der Unterkunft entfernt. Die Gastfreundschaft, das Essen, der Garten und auch das Zimmer waren super. Sauber, gemütlich und guter Service. Was will man mehr. Danke für die schönen Tage im la Perla

Es ist wirklich eine kleine Oase mit super schönen Bungalows. Jeder davon mit eigener Terrasse mit Sitzmöglichkeiten und Liegen. Zum Strand sind es auch nur fünf Gehminuten. Nelson, der Eigentümer kocht abends und sorgt auch für super leckeres Frühstück. Mein Mann war leider krank und Nelson und seine Frau waren so hilfsbereit und lieb. Wir kommen wieder 😍

Die Lage 2min fußläufig zu dem wirklich schönsten Strandabschnitt in Bentota Beach ist ein absoluter Pluspunkt. Noch 2 Minuten weiter und man ist am Wave Beach Club mit Restaurant , wo man kostenlos auf den Liegen legen kann und zu günstigen Preisen, Getränke und sehr gutes Essen bekommt und so einen wirklich chilligen Strandtag verbringen kann. Uns hat auch das Essen von Nelson sehr gut gefallen, es ist etwas besonderes, im Vergleich zu üblichem Sri Lanka-Essen; man merkt, dass Nelson viele Jahre auch in Deutschland in der Gastronomie gearbeitet hat; er bringt ein bisschen deutsche Art in die Gerichte. Außerdem war der Thunfisch in beiden Abendessen, die wir hatten, wirklich von sehr guter Qualität. Die Portionen sind sehr groß, so dass wir als Familie immer sehr gut mit drei statt vier Portionen ausgekommen sind. Der vermittelte Ausflug (Flusssafari) war auch sehr lohnenswert. Für einige sich auch interessant: es sind so viele deutsche und europäische Gäste dort, wann kommt schnell in Kontakt im gemütlichen Restaurant Bereich.

Nur für Kaffee-Liebhaber vielleicht gut zu wissen: es gibt keine Siebträgermaschine oder ähnliches. Aber sehr guten Espresso im Wave-Restaurant.

Es war super schönen Aufenthalt. Wir sind speziell wegen der guten Bewertungen für das Essen gekommen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Auch das Personal war extrem freundlich und die ganze Anlage ist eine echte Oase. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

Le cadre est vraiment magnifique, très calme et dépaysant. On s’y sent tout de suite bien. Les chambres sont grandes, confortables et impeccablement propres. Le personnel est adorable, toujours disponible et très professionnel : le service est fluide et efficace, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable.

Honnêtement, rien à signaler. Tout s’est très bien passé et nous avons pleinement profité de notre séjour.

Nelson sait recevoir. L’accueil est chaleureux. Polyglotte (anglais, allemand, français), il est là pour ces clients. Il est attentif à tout. Et surtout il aime faire à manger et le fait super bien. C’est un peu plus cher, mais ce qu’on retrouve dans les assiettes est qualitatif, goûtu, bien présenté et très copieux. Toute l’équipe est vraiment super.

La voie de chemin de fer est proche, c’est donc bruyant quand le train passe. Mais heureusement ce n’est pas trop souvent…

Que dire de plus quand tout est parfait? Tout est dit dans les revues précédentes mais il faut ajouter que Nelson propose des excursions sans jamais forcer. Vous voulez prendre c'est ok et si vous ne voulez pas c'est aussi ok. On est vraiment libre et on peut dire non sans que Nelson s'offusque. Il est vraiment là pour vous rendre service et pour vous aider!Il parle français , allemand et anglais parfaitement! Il y a un impératif c'est de manger chez lui! Une véritable tuerie! Nous sommes allés à La Perla par hasard . Comme quoi le hasard fait parfois bien les choses!

Juste une remarque pour les prochains hotes il y 6 chambres 3 d'entre elles ont une terrasse avec des chaises longues, les 3 autres ont aussi une jolie terrasse avec des fauteuils mais sans chaises longues .

Pats geriausias viešbutis iš visų užsakytų 14 d. turi metu. Labai graži aplinka - kaip botanikos sodas. Nuostabūs pusryčiai. Netoliese traukinio bėgiai - kas taip pat suteikia žavesio esant Šrilankoje. Ramus ir nuostabus paplūdimys už kelių šimtų metrų. Labai mielas šeimininkas.

Wir verbrachten zwei Nächte in dieser wunderbaren Unterkunft. Der Hauseigentümer Nelson sowie das gesamte Personal waren großartig. Auch das Essen können wir sehr empfehlen. Vielen Dank für zwei rundum gelungene Tage!

La Perla is an amazing haven of peace with 6 small villas organized around a pool and dining area. The facility is wonderful and the staff very welcoming. At night, you can decide to eat the delicious food that the owner Nelson prepares for you and that’s what I did for all 3 nights I was there which was the best decision I made. If you’re looking for a calm place to charge up and enjoy the nearby beach, this is the place for you.

Wat is dit een fantastisch verblijf, we verbleven met 4 personen voor een vijftal dag en we hebben werkelijk een geweldige tijd gehad. Het personeel was uitermate behulpzaam en was altijd bereid je op wat voor manier ook je van dienst te zijn. De eigenaar ( Nelson) is naast een fijne gastheer een fantastische kok. De kamers zijn in uitstekende staat en de hygiëne is helemaal in order. Wij zijn een aantal weken op reis geweest door Sri Lanka en diverse locaties bezocht maar deze staat met een dikke stip bovenaan. Het lijkt allemaal te mooi om waar te zijn maar geloof mij het is echt een geweldige plek om te vertoeven. Geloof mij mensen wil je een onvergetelijke ervaring op je vakantie, dan moet je dit verblijf niet overslaan.

Die Lage. Direkt an der Bahn bedeutet immer wieder Lärm tagsüber. Nichts zum bummeln oder spazieren gehen in der Nähe. Auch kein Supermarkt. Das sollte man wissen. Einziger Lichtblick gegenüber ist das tolle Wave Restaurant.

Das La Perla ist definitiv eine Perle. Die Zimmer sind schön und sauber, alles wird täglich mit viel Liebe dekoriert. Auch das Abendessen können wir empfehlen, immer sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Das ganze Team ist herzlich und hilfsbereit. Nelson hat auch immer gute Tipps zu Ausflügen parat und macht das Unmögliche möglich. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt.

Wir fühlten uns wie im Paradies. Die gesamte Unterkunft ist ganz liebevoll gestaltet. Nelson und sein Team sind ganz wunderbare Menschen. Freundlich, hilfsbereit, unaufdringlich, herzensgut. Super süße Zimmer/kleine Häuschen mit eigener Terrasse. Nelson und sein Team haben keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Sie sorgten dafür, dass wir uns um nichts kümmern mussten und einfach nur entspannen konnten. Tolle chillige Atmosphäre in einer einzigartigen Unterkunft. Nelson kocht jeden Tag frisch und dazu noch hervorragend! So gut haben wir den ganzen Urlaub nicht gegessen!! Selbst spontan hat er uns einen Abend noch etwas auf die Teller gezaubert, weil's so schön war, wollten wir die Anlage nicht verlassen. Eine Unterkunft, die bei jedem Wetter schön ist! Nelson verbindet die Menschen miteinander, wenn man es möchte. Wir haben in "La Perla Bentota" sehr liebe Menschen über ihn kennengelernt. Wir haben Nelson, sein Team und seine 4 Katzen und Hunde in unser Herz geschlossen. Der tolle Strand liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe und ist nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt (ca. 5 Minuten). Nelson war ein außergewöhnlich toller Gastgeber

The host was very nice and the facilities were clean and comfortable. We were actually sad we only booked this for 1 night. Highly recommend going here!!

Gute Lage nah zum wunderschönen Strand. Sehr nettes Personal. Leckeres Frühstück. Nelson ist immer hilfsbereit bei allen Belangen. Sehr schöner, liebevoll gemachter großer Bungalow.

Wir haben letzte Woche in Bentota geheiratet und haben La Perla als Unterkunft für diese Zeit ausgewählt. La Perla ist etwas ganz Besonderes. Nelson hat hier mit viel Herz und Arbeit ein kleines Paradies geschaffen und man fühlt sich wie zuhause. Er und sein Team sind rund um die Uhr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Es hat schon fast eine familiäre Atmosphäre. Die Anlage und die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gepflegt. Nelson kocht abends für seine Gäste selbst und ich habe selten so gut gegessen. Alles ist mit viel Liebe und Blumen dekoriert und wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit. Auch das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier.

Mir hat nicht gefallen, dass ich 2kg zugenommen habe. Leider konnte ich Nelson's gutem Essen nicht widerstehen ;-)

De sfeer in het hotel , mooi natuurlijk kader en verfrissend zwembad. Het personeell erg behulpzaam. Men plaatst 's avonds anti-mug-brandertjes. De manager Nelson spreekt vlot vele talen waardoor alle internationale klanten vlot alle vragen kunnen stellen . Het voelt als een THUIS in Sri Lanka.

Tout était parfait, Nelson le patron, les employés. Tout le monde est adorable et au petit soin. Nous avons eu la chance d'y séjourner 2 nuits où il y avait nous et autre couple, donc super calme. Nelson est aussi le chef cuistot et alors la c'est un régal. Il faut avoir très faim ! Les assiettes sont copieuse et faite avec amour du métier va se vois et ça se sens en bouche. J'ai juste succulent, un régal !!! Bref super séjour !

A calm garden hotel, not a lot visitors but very good stay, the owner is really kind, had a good chat. We also have dinner in the hotel, way beyond expectations, homemade, open kitchen, you can watch the cooking, overall, very recommend.

Nous avons tout apprécié. -L’hôte Nelson et tout le personnel qui étaient bienveillants, accueillants, d’une gentillesse incroyable! -La chambre spacieuse et le lit étaient très confortable avec une belle salle de douche , le tout nettoyé chaque jour. -Le petit déjeuner était parfait et copieux. -La piscine est grande entourée d’un beau jardin, on s’y sent très bien. -Tout est toujours fleuri: la chambre, les assiettes, ce sont de belles attentions. Nous ne devions y rester qu’une nuit, nous y avons passé les derniers jours de notre séjour ( 4 nuits!). Si nous pouvions donner notre note, ce serait un 12/10!!!😊 Merci à tous!❤️

Nice and quite close to the beach and a couple if places to eat

Perhaps a bit isolated but everywhere is accessible via at tuk tuk which are cheap

We absolutely loved our stay at La Perla Bentota. The property is a hidden gem, in a nice quiet location, with well appointed rooms set around a central pool. Our hosts Alex and Nelson were very friendly and welcoming. Nelson is a great chef, and the food was delicious. The staff were also excellent, and clearly took pride in looking after their guests. On talking to Alex, we discovered that she and Nelson are keen advocates for animal welfare, and do whatever they can to improve the quality of life of the dogs in the local area. As dog lovers ourselves, we were very impressed. I cannot recommend this property highly enough, the people and the place are amazing!

Lovely room, clean & spacious. The grounds at La Perla were beautiful, lots a luscious tropical plants and the pool was a nice cool off. Very comfortable.

Very close to train tracks, they do stop during the little hours but something to note.

We just came back from La Perla few days ago and our stay was a blast. Bungalows are spacious, comfortable, clean and located in a beautiful garden. Nice pool was a treat after busy sightseeing. The beach is just across the road. Nice breakfast was included in the price. There was a mini bar in the room filled with water, beer and soft drinks. You pay extra, but is's very handy. The staff were so helpful, friendly and caring-we felt really welcomed. Try a dinner on the site. The owner Nelson is excellent cook and we decided to eat there every evening because the food was exceptional. But beware-portions are huge. Owners-Alexandra and Nelson made our stay like home away from home. I am really happy I booked La Perla❤️

Our stay was too short.

3 dagen een geweldige tijd gehad super vriendelijk personeel. En de eigenaren Nelson en alexandra waren zo lief, en bovenal de meest fijne dierenliefhebbers die we ooit ontmoet hebben. Ze verzorgen zelfs een ziek hondje met voeding medicatie en hebben een hutje gebouwd voor het hondje. En bovenal Nelson kan koken nergens zo goed gegeten. Al met al raden we iedereen die naar srilanka gaat,GA HIER HEEN JE VAKANTIE IS DAN EEN DROOM DIE UITKOMT
