Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Due to a problem with my plane I arrived after check out hours, but the staff were very nice and waited for me. The room was very clean and it also had a desk and a small wardrobe. The noise from the street wasn't that bad and I slept fine with earplugs. The shared toilet was spotless. Great location. Overall, you get what you pay. I'd book again.
The private bathroom is just a shower. It worked fine, but it could drain the water faster. The stairs are very, very steep. I used the handrails and slowly walk up and down the stairs, and it was fine.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026Gostoljubiv domaćin, stalno dostupan na recepciji. Susretljivo i ljubazno pomogao mi u vezi rezervaxije karte za vlak. Odlicna lokacija, cak mi se i svidio ugođaj prošlog stoljeća, strne stepenice, malena sobica, romantično.
U tim malim prostorima nemoguće je smjestiti wc i tuš u sobu, tak da je zajednički toalet i tuš na katu. Vikendom je na večer dosta bučno, blizina je glavne ulice koja je puna lokala.

Op het matras zitten harde pluisjes. Ik stopte een handdoek als molton tussen matras en laken. Ik was door reviews gewaarschuwd hoe eenvoudig het was. Eenvoud vind ik niet erg. Het sfeerloze vond ik minder prettig. Misschien beschikbaarheid van wegwerp bestek een goed idee? Dat mist echt!

Reviewed Jul 5, 2026Een nette kamer met alle basisfaciliteiten aanwezig. Het bed was prettig met schoon en fris beddengoed. Douche en toilet waren dichtbij en goed toegankelijk. Het was comfortabel dat er een waterkoker en magnetron aanwezig waren, hiermee werd het verblijf op de kamer nog aangenamer. Een goede TV met eenvoudige bediening was voor mij ook erg prettig.
Enige minpunt was dat de douche wat smal was met een hoge instap. Belangrijk om rustig in en uit te stappen.

Gebouw heel gedateerd, kan renovatie gebruiken. Prijs voor alleen overnachting, zonder ontbijt, aan de hoge kant.

Tomēr nakti nebija iespējams gulēt, ņemot vērā, ka logi bija uz ielas puses un tas bija piektdienas vakars. Sienas ļoti plānas un viss apkārt ir dzirdams. Ja ir nepieciešams palikt vienu nakti, to var paciest, bet nespēju iedomāties tur pavadīt ilgāku laiku.

Die Lage der Unterkunft...mitten in der Fußgängerzone von Groningen. Keine Wegbeschreiben und/ oder Skizze zum Ziel. Keine Antwort auf meine Fragen bezüglich der Parkmöglichkeiten. Für Nicht-Groninger NICHT zu empfehlen. Adresse konnte nicht gefunden und somit das Zimmer NICHT genutzt werden! Das Personal war telefonisch sehr entgegenkommend und hat sich allergrößte Mühe gegeben, die Buchung zu realisieren!!! Ich buche diese Unterkunft nie wieder - schade...allerdings war der Anreisetag, der Schlimmste, den ich jemals hatte<3

Reviewed May 30, 2026Verouderd pension, hoog toe aan een renovatie. Kamer en bed was was verouderd maar verder wel netjes en schoon. Meneer van de receptie ook erg vriendelijk en flexibel. Locatie is top! As je een nachtje in Groningen moet zijn dan is dit gewoon een uitstekende optie voor de prijs.

It’s very dodgy and basic. A rundown location that looks like it used to rent the rooms per hour. Dirty lampshades, spots in the shower, chlorine smell and fixtures and wiring in weird places. Everything needs a lick of paint. Very old flooring. Beds not great. Shower tiny and not good waterpressure. VERY small towels.

Reviewed May 2, 2026Perfectie locatie t.o.v. het treinstation en midden in het centrum van de stad. De badkamer was provisorisch ingebouwd in de kamer. De douchewanden waren heel dun, niet geschikt om ertegenaan te leunen wanneer dat nodig was bij het wassen. Het bed beviel erg goed. Heerlijk geslapen.
Gedeelde badkamer op de gang met een andere kamer. Wellicht was dit wel vermeld bij de informatie, maar dat heb ik denk ik over het hoofd gezien.

Lack of plug beside the bed. The window had quite a wide gap around in the room i stayed in and lots of air was coming in. as the weather was nice, it was warm enough in the room but it might be an issue in winter. Walls are quite thin and you can hear what's happening in the corridors and the next rooms.

I stayed here for a few nights and thought it was just fine. For a single room it was quite spacious and equipped with a fridge and TV. It was a bit noisy from the street though. The shared bathroom was okay and clean and the price was just fine. Recommended for an affordable overnight stay.
