Fish factory -The real Lofoten experience

Nous avons adoré le côté typique du Rorbu avec une vue directe sur la mer. Le logement est aménagé avec goût et très bien équipé, nous n’avons manqué de rien durant notre semaine aux Lofoten. Il est même possible de laver et sécher son linge.

Location was good. Fridge and cupboards markings were nice. View would’ve been good if allowed outside. Bed was comfortable. View from room.

Deck/terrace was closed because door was broke for entirety of stay. Wasn’t aware we were essentially renting a shared house with 6-8 other people. Other guests could be an issue. If they flood the bathroom and do laundry all night it’s something that affects your stay. Only two windows open in common areas and they just barely crack open. Bedroom window is the same. With small window openings and lack of terrace, getting fresh air is a problem.

Tolle Lage am Hafen, Terrasse direkt am Wasser, schöne Gemeinschaftsräume. Bequemes Bett in kleinem gemütlichen Zimmer mit Meerblick.

Es gab für die Anzahl der Zimmer und Gäste zu wenige Bäder/WCs, so dass man teils warten musste oder nicht duschen konnte.

Det var väldigt lyhört med knakande golv och slamrande dörrlås. Fixa gärna dörrarna. Vi bodde intill köket i ett fint rum.

Posizione ottima: centrale rispetto all’arcipelago. La casa è accogliente, pulita, arredata con semplicità e gusto, luminosa con grandi finestre che si affacciano sul mare, sulle barche dei pescatori e sulle case di Ballstad. La pulizia è accurata e quotidiana. La cucina ben fornita. Edvard molto gentile e disponibile. Consiglio vivamente questo posto

De rencontrer d’autres marcheurs D’être dans un grand espace, de pouvoir cuisiner. Il faut savoir que c’est une maison avec 6 chambres, bien insezlee et très propre.

Pas de recharge électrique Pas assez de place pour dîner ou petit déjeuner quand on est plus de 6 ds la maison. Pas de personnel présent pendant les 4 jours où nous avons séjourné - on a eu deux problèmes une clef cassée dans une salle de bain le serrurier est intervenu pour libérer la dame ouf ! Et plus d’électricité dans une des 2 salles de bain et personne n’est venu le temps de notre séjour, vraiment ennuyeux car salle de bain aveugle.

La struttura si trova all’estremità di Ballstad, posto molto bello se si vuole trascorrere qualche giorno tranquillo fuori (di pochi km) dai giri principali. Molto carina l’area comune, cucina dotata di tutti gli elettrodomestici necessari.

Solo un paio di cose che si potrebbero migliorare, in particolare l’insonorizzazione delle stanze e il rumore delle porte dei bagni, davvero un po’ troppo forti.

Hébergement parfait, très agréable et confortable, on se sent comme à la maison ! La cuisine est bien équipée, la salle de bains très confortable et propre. Il y a une belle salle commune avec une belle vue sur la mer et les maisons traditionnelles.

La chambre est un peu petite et manque un peu de rangement. Mais les espaces communs sont très agréables, ce n'est donc pas dérangeant.

Dejlig hyggelig atmosfære. Alle gæster hjælper med at holde køkken og stue hyggelig og ordenlig.

Dans la chambre manque une seconde chaise, un petit miroir, une poubelle,. Dans la salle à manger commune une petite table et 4 chaises pour 6 chambres de deux alors qu'il y a de la place C'est vrai qu'il y a aussi une table sur la terrasse mais en Norvège il pleut presque tous les jours alors...

Molt net i nou. Ben equipat amb dos WC complets amb dutxa per a 6 habitacions. Estances amples i lluminoses de cuina i sala d'estar. Tenir pàrking davant facilita les coses. Poder emprar rentadora i secadora també!

Great location, everything easy accessible. Full equipment in the kitchen. Nice views through the windows. Good opportunity to wash and dry out your clothes.

Très joli rorbur les pieds dans l'eau, très confortable, propre et spacieux.

Isolation phonique, les murs sont fins. Une table plus grande pour les repas serait bien vu le nombre de logements. Une poubelle et un miroir dans la chambre seraient utiles

Generally clean, great to have access to a kitchen where you have a shelf in the fridge and cupboard space dedicated to your room, plus use of a free washing machine and dryer. There is a bookshelf of books (mostly not in English) and some board games. The most useful book was the book of hikes for the islands. For the price this was a good place to stay. Check is very easy - sent a list of details of how to self check in.

It’s a genuine old fishing building which means the floors aren’t 100% level, the floor in my room was quite slanted which meant my bed head was lower than the foot of the bed. This could be easily fixed by propping up the bed slightly. Each room is different but some rooms don’t have blackout blinds/curtains. If you’re a light sleeper, be aware there is a noise that is consistently going on and off throughout the day and night which sounds a bit like washing machine/motor noise. I stayed for a week and the area generally quiet except for Friday and Saturday evening when a bar/restaurant nearby had loud music playing. One evening was the match for Norway in the World Cup so was understand there was a bit more noise but was surprising how noisy the place was considering the overall quietness of Ballstad. While the place is generally clean, I did find a stone fruit seed in my room on the floor from a previous guest.

Clean and well-kept. The kitchen was well-equipped, and having a washing machine and dryer on site was a great bonus. The view from the living room window was beautiful. Parking was very convenient – right in front of the house. The bathroom was comfortable and spacious

This is a shared apartment, so it felt extremely lacking in privacy – the small kitchen and two bathrooms had to be shared with the other rooms, which meant queuing morning and evening (though around midday the place was empty). The walls were thin and the floors a bit creaky, so it could get noisy. I booked it for the internet, as I needed to get some work done, but the connection was so poor that I had to rely on mobile data instead. The room itself was tiny – barely enough space for the bed.

Endroit exceptionnel . La vue est magnifique maison confortable .propriétaire discret mais attentif rien ne manque.

Logement où tout est pensé pour la cohabitation entre les clients (4 chambres). La cuisine est pensée de façon à ce que chacun ait un espace de rangement (placards et frigo). Le cuisine est bien équipée. Arrivee autonome. Possibilité d’utiliser la machine à laver gratuitement, avec lessive en poudre à disposition. Salón et salle à manger lumineux, avec une terrasse. Il y a 2 salles de bains spacieuses. Le tout est propre.

Il n’y a pas de poubelle dans les chambres; ce qui n’est vraiment pas pratique. Les chambres sont vraiment très petites (hors une qui contient un bureau en +). Il serait très appréciable que le logement ait des bornes de charge pour les véhicules, ce qui n’est pas le cas. Les portes de chambres sont très mal isolées donc on est vite réveillés par les autres le matin.

So cosy. Sea is right there outside of the window. You can enjoy the marine feeling for hole stay. I love it, will come back.

This is a beautiful location, nice property, very clean and great beds…a relaxing getaway!

Our stay in Norway was excellent, and the accommodation played a major role in that. We were absolutely satisfied with everything. The property was fully equipped and had everything we needed. The view was beautiful, all areas were spotlessly clean, and the location was very convenient. Despite the cold weather, the accommodation had excellent heating, including the bathroom, which made our stay very comfortable. There was also free parking, which was very practical. The host was extremely kind and helpful, responding immediately to any questions we had. When I was looking for a hairdryer in the bathroom we were using, he bought a second one without hesitation, which really impressed us. We highly recommend this place. We fell in love with Norway, and this accommodation made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely choose it again!

Schönes Haus mit grosser Küche. Die Organisation der Fächer nach Zimmer ist gut gelöst. Dass wir das Haus für uns alleine hatten war natürlich sehr schön. Das Bad war sauber und die Aussicht direkt aufs Wasser sehr schön.

Allgemein sind die Lampen in Norwegen eher dunkel, vor allem im Aufenthaltsbereich könnten diese verbessert werden. Der Esstisch könnte vergrössert werden, bei Vollbesetzung kann es doch bisschen eng werden.

L’emplacement, la vue, la propreté

La posizione é fantastica affacciata direttamente sul fiordo a pochi metri dall'acqua offre una vista stupenda inoltre la struttura é pulita così come i bagni, la cucina é ben attrezzata con piano ad induzione forno, bollitore e microonde, sono presenti inoltre, piatti e pentole per poter cucinare. Gli spazi in cucina sono ben suddivisi e ogni stanza dispone di un ripiano personale sia all'interno del frigorifero che nei pensili della cucina. Con un po' di fortuna si può vedere l'aurora boreale direttamente dal salotto come é capitato a noi 🤞

La stanza é molto piccola e occupata quasi interamente dal letto che ho trovato scomodo soprattutto per il fatto che il materasso pendeva da un lato inoltre non é presente un armadio dove riporre gli oggetti ma solo una struttura in metallo con 4 grucce per appendere i giubbotti.

El alojamiento estaba increíble. Muy cómodo, muy limpio y con todo lo necesario. Ambiente más que agradable y unas vistas únicas. Excelente atención por parte del dueño, quien estuvo presente cuando se lo necesitó. Darles 10 puntos, es poco, se merece un 100.

Top Lage, direkt am Wasser und hier wird noch Fischfang betrieben. Tolle kleine Terrasse, zwei top moderne Bäder, saubere, gut ausgestattete Küche mit gut durchdachten Ablageflächen für einzelne Zimmer, Recycling wird hier ernstgenommen, nettes Geneinschaftswohnzimmer. Kühlschrank, Waschmaschine, Trockner, alles da. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus. WLAN ohne Probleme. Viele Möwen vor dem Fenster, echtes Fischerhaus-Feeling.

Leider nur Bett ohne Schrank, ohne Fernseher, ohne Schreibtisch im Zimmer zwei. Garderobengestell für Kleidung aber vorhanden. Etwas hellhörig im Zimmer, bzw. Türen laut, da etwas älter (man konnte nicht ganz leise abschließen/ Luftzug durch Tür). Aber da das Haus sauber war und tolle Atmosphäre hat, würde ich dennoch wiederkommen.

Nice accommodation that is equipped with everything you need. Bathrooms are completely new. You can easily park right in front of the entrance. It is a great location to explore Lofoten.

Et dejligt sted Kan kun anbefale det.Alt var nyt ,og meget velholdt. En sød fyr kom og gjorde rent hver dag. For mig lå det meget centralt til det jeg skulle se og opleve

Établissement simple mais confortable avec tous les équipements utiles dans la cuisine et pour laver et sécher notre linge. Nous avons particulièrement aimé la superbe vue de la chambre sur le fjord et le port.

Läget var helt rätt på Lofoten. Fiskebåtarna låg precis utanför fönstret. Själva huset var ett gammalt fiskhus. Lite charmigt vint och skevt . Det fanns 2 st nyrenoverade och fina toaletter m dusch. Köket var välutrustat. All info var utförlig och stämde. Balkong att sitta på vid fint väder. Fanns bara ett matbord, kunde varit 2 med så många rum. Nära Mortsund där man kan besöka en fiskfabrik, fint visitors center, samt åka ribb båt ut till en laxodling för en låg peng. Vi åt en kväll på restaurang alldeles nära, Kræmmervikveien havn, bra service och gott.

Wyprowadziłabym ograniczenie korzystania z pralki suszarki i kuchni po 22. Niestety nasze współlokatorki prały i suszyły całą noc. Sorry hałas. Z przyjemnością kupiłabym rybę świeżo złowiona ale nie dopytałam, czy była taka możliwość.

Excellent location to drive through the Lofoten Islands. Appreciate dedicated refrigerator and cupboard space. Kitchen and living room area were good. Very helpful to have the washer and dryer.

Bedrooms were very tight on space. It might help to change out the one rack in the room and put in a more efficient space for storing items. The bed was comfy, slept well.

Ce rorbuer est authentique et c'est ce que nous avons adoré ! Il est situé dans le port de pêche la vue est magnifique et l'on peut voir les aller et retour des bateaux de pêches. Notre chambre était petite mais parfaitement équipée, les salles de bains sont propres et la pièce de vie est assez grande pour en profiter. Il y a un lave linge ET un sèche linge ce qui est super pratique pour les voyageurs !

Il posto era stupendo.Anche la struttura con tutti i comodi e una vista sui pescherecci bellissima.

Siamo stati in questa struttura per un paio di giorni al termine del nostro viaggio. La posizione è splendida, direttamente sul Po tile in una vera casa di pescatori ristrutturata. Il fatto che sia un ostello, molto carino per altro, da anche la possibilità di conoscere altri viaggiatori e passare delle piacevoli serate.

Struttura sul mare con parcheggio di fronte all’ingresso . La casa ha 2 bagni in comune , cucina e soggiorno in comune e 5 camere da letto di cui 4 con vista direttamente sul mare. Arredi nuovissimi , lavanderia con lavatrice ed asciugatrice. I bagni sono molto spaziosi ( uno di più ) e la zona è molto silenziosa e tranquilla . Dispone anche di un balcone con tavolo e sedie in legno .

Ci è piaciuto tutto

Es war sehr wohnlich, die Ausstattung war gut und makellos sauber. Zudem darf man dort kostenlos Wäsche waschen und trocknen. Sehr zu empfehlen :).

Wenn man ohne Auto kommt, dann ist es ins Städtchen ein guter Spaziergang, aber mit dem Auto super wegen den kostenlosen Stellplätzen.

The location is great for hikes, Leknes is close-by even with a bus so lots of connections can be made to other parts of Lofoten, and Ballstad is a nice and quiet town. The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils and tools, and spacious, the fridge and cabinets provide ample place to store stuff, and the coffee machine was great. The views are amazing from both our room's windows and the common area's windows. Also, the blinds worked well on our windows to keep the light out - a first for us in Lofoten.

When we arrived we were welcomed by our host Ruben. He showed us around and explained they were doing some renovations. He was just finishing up with house cleaning and he did an exceptional job. The room was clean and very comfortable with great views. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. All the cabinets and drawers were labeled. Each room has a shelf for dried goods and a shelf in the refrigerator. Very well organized. It was very windy one day and the WiFi was knocked out, I wrote to Ruben and he immediately responded with a solution. Did I mention there is free laundry and detergent! The location was perfect, half way between all of the places we wanted to visit. Great restaurants in the area too! For the cost of our stay this was a great value. Thank you!

Well set up with private rooms with a double bed, desk, shelves, and plenty of places to hang things. The shared bathroom and kitchen are great. The location is on the water and has beautiful views.

It's not close to cafes/shops/amenities so you'll most likely need a car. Leknes is only a 10min drive away
