The big apartment and the view of balcony

The location is out of this world. The view from the room is like heaven. The size of the apartment was perfect and having a washing machine is a big PLUS

The staff weren't answering to our messages. When we arrived after the closing hrs of the reception and checked in , we were surprised that there was no light in the apartment. I had to check the electricity box and nothing worked. I even had to knock on door of the people in the apartment beside us to ask for help. They too didn't know what to do. After trying the light knobs several times we were surprised that the lights started working ... as if the electricity is working through a generator. No one gave us prior warning that this could happen. Even though I messaged the staff through booking messages, but no answer even after checking out today until now !!! In addition there was a strong sewage smell coming from the sewage pipes cupboard adjacent to the bathroom. There was no garbage bags for the kitchen. And the kuttlery and plates in the cupboards and also the pots weren't clean enough.

There was a great view of the fjord out the back from off of our balcony and an awesome view of Aurland several steps away out the front door. We had a nice amount of space in our apartment and it was clean. I enjoyed being out in the beautiful countryside, though my people wished that it was closer to stores/restaurants/bus. (It was nice that our tour bus to Stegastein let us out at our property in the return trip instead of making us walk from town. I would recommend it to others and would come here again.

It was great to have a shuttle affiliated with Winjum that we were able to reserve to pick us up. However, I was just a bit disappointed that it cost as much as it did - thinking when I booked the property that it would be included as a courtesy as many places are or at least not as much as it was. It's a little tough if you don't have a car as there is a bit of a walk into town to catch the bus or find food. (I didn't mind so much walking, but my people weren't very excited to do that - plus it was raining at the time.)

The young lady at the reception was really nice. It's fairly close to Flåm and close to Stegastein viewpoint.

It looks like it was built in the eighties and that's the last time anything was done. Everything is incredibly outdated and the entire place was smelly. One of the windows didn't close, the heating in the kitchen was broken and the freezer had just about enough room left to store one ice pack and the rest was frozen shut. They sent someone to look at the window, but concluded they couldn't fix it and someone would come the day after. They did bring a portable heater. They said they would de-ice the freezer the day after, but it wasn't done. Reason: it would take too long and be messy. The window wasn't fixed either, apparently because it was a Sunday. This place is far overpriced for what you get. Wouldn't recommend it.

Very close to the Aurdal centre and the view is fantastic! It has a terrace which is accessible only by only few people who are renting the apartments in the basement.

The door both in the bedroom and bathroom are difficult to close. When you take a shower it overflows all over the floor in the bath room. It could have been nice if the shower area is a bit deep so that it will not flood the whole bath room. There is no heating on the floor and no doormat inside the apartment. No air ventilation inside the bedroom. Big advantage that the location is great!

Honestly, everything about that place is excellent. I will book the place again sooner

Staff, location, cheap and nice view

It was in a great location, with beautiful fjord views off the balcony.

We were hoping to do laundry, during our stay; but, the washing machine in our unit was broken.

The apartment is queasy clean and tucked away in a quiet place, but it’s also close to all the shops and it’s a 10 min drive to Flåm. It’s very cozy and the view is worth every penny.

The view outside the apartment is amazing.

The Wi-Fi network is too weak and no signal in the bedroom.

Room was unclean, lot of sand in both living and bathroom, which we felt very uncomfortable with little children and moulds were there in the bed room, we literally breathing that smell

Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht da. Wir sind sehr spät angekommen und mussten den nächsten Tag gleich weiter. Wir hätten gern das Apartment mit dem tollen Ausblick länger genossen.

The location is good

The living room is big but so empty.The bedroom is too small. The wifi connection is too bad almost useless, we report the problem but one fix it.

Son un conjunto de apartamentos y bungalows rurales, y en mi opinión lo único bueno que tienen es el entorno de naturaleza y las vistas. Es el apartamento más caro y con peor relación calidad-precio de todo nuestro viaje a los fiordos.

Alquilamos un apartamento para 5 y la cama del 5º era el sofá del salón sin preparar. La cortinilla del baño no llegaba al suelo, no paraba el agua y se inundaba, teniendo que desconectar la lavadora que estaba en el baño para no electrocutarnos. Todas las sábanas y toallas había que recogerlas uno mismo y llevarlas al edificio de recepción al recoger. La cerradura de la puerta iba por código y cuando volvimos de cenar no funcionaba, y es que se habían gastado las pilas. No hay recepción desde las 20h, por lo que no pudimos entrar hasta 2 horas después, permaneciendo fuera lloviendo hasta pasadas las 12 de la noche, cuando el personal de urgencia y mantenimiento consiguió abrir la puerta con un cuchillo, pues tampoco encontraron la llave del apartamento ni una llave maestra.

Ideal for people with own transport. Not so good if you depend on public transport. You can pre-book a shared shuttle every time you need to get away.

The view from this apartment is exceptional. The apartment is bright and spacious. We simply enjoyed the feeling of total immersion in this beautiful environment.

The kitchen equipment is sufficient but basic with no coffee or tea provided.

Everything else. The room used to be a storage cup board we believe stinking of some refuse. The doors open to a public patio with picnic benches but no curtains for privacy. No ventilation fresh air or aircon, wifi is non existent. We were in apt C.

De eigenaar heeft helemaal geen liefde voor z’n huisjes. Ze zijn uiterst ongezellig. Lege witte muren. Te weinig meubels. Lampen die stuk zijn. Allemaal zeer jammer. Met een kleine investering kan je van deze plek echt iets moois maken.

It had only one bathroom for 4 people so it was tricky.

Las vistas, el porche, los grandes ventanales en una de las habitaciones y en el salón. Espectacular. Cocina muy práctica para hacer alguna comida/cena en el apartamento con vistas de 10.

El sofá cama era bastante incómodo.

We booked two rooms: a two-bedroom suite with a lake view and a "farmer's house." The room sizes were good, but the lake-view suite actually only had one room facing the lake. If you check in after 7:00 PM, the host will post a notice at the check-in office to let you know your room assignment.

Parking spaces are limited, and it would be better to plan for additional spots so guests don't have to drive up and down repeatedly, which increases the risk of accidents. The worst part was the Wi-Fi. It seems each unit only allows two devices to connect, and the speed is quite slow. With five of us staying in the same unit, this restriction was highly inconvenient, and the teenagers were driven crazy by it. If internet access is crucial for you, I’d suggest considering other options. To top it off, the hot water ran out by the time the fifth person went to take a shower, which left me completely speechless.

Situation géographique : Joli site avec vue sur fjord

Logement ( farm house ) qui a vécu : nécessiterait un rafraîchissement général Propreté ( grosse toile d'araignée au plafond) Équipements défectueux et ne fonctionnant pas ( machine à laver et lave vaisselle ) sans que l'on nous ait avertis. Pas de réponse lorsqu'on a signalé que le lave linge ne marchait pas. Dommage car on avait payé pour !

Very nice locations with superb view over the fjords. The houses are a bit old and will benefit from some renovation, otherwise everything was perfect. I would definitely recommend it. Stay with family in one of the large cottage.

Bathroom is old, shower has just a small curtain and it is quite easy to flood the bathroom.

1) La vista dalla terrazza sul fiordo. 2) Non ci sono tantissimi posti auto per parcheggiare ma a noi due sere su due è andate bene, quindi meglio che in altre parti della Norvegia. 3) La posizione, a dieci minuti di macchina da Flam , dove si parte per fare la crociera sul fiordo e dove parte la Flamsbana.

Appartamento davvero trascura, muffa nella camera da letto, materasso da sostituire perché macchiato di urina. Se affitto un appartamento con cucina mi aspetto di trovare almene del sale, olio e spezie per cucinare, come succede in tanti altri posti., soprattutto se pago più di 400€ a notte. È stato in prospettiva l'alloggio più caro del nostro giro in Norvegia, comprese le Lofoten.

We absolutely loved staying here. The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and comfortable, and the view was absolutely fantastic. Every room offered a beautiful view of the fjord, creating such a peaceful and almost surreal experience. There was something truly special about staying in such a simple yet cozy apartment, surrounded by the incredible beauty of nature. We enjoyed every moment of it!

Apartamento bastante antigüo. Los platos/vasos estaban en el armario pero sucios. Dos trapos de cocina sucios.

We had a great view on the Fjord. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was clean. The shower had wonderful hot water. It was very calm and we did not even hear our neighbors. Check in and Check out was easy. We were also able to get into the apartment a little early which was very nice.

La situació.

Ens va tocar la "farm house" i allà hi havia 7 llits. Potser per això el preu és tant alt. En tot cas, no està ben explicat a la web de booking. És una caseta que està prou bé però li falta manteniment i és molt cara amb relació a la qualitat de l'equipament. Les escales per pujar al pis de dalt (habitacions) són molt dolentes. La dutxa podria tenir una cortina o mampara. La il·luminació de les habitacions molt precària i els interruptors mal repartits (des del llit no es pot apagar el llum).

La ubicación, y poca intimidad. El GPS nos metió por una calle de propiedad privada y tuvimos que darnos la vuelta. Hay que ir por la carretera, que apenas tiene aceras y además de estar bastante alejado del centro y ser muy empinada, era muy peligrosa porque había mucho tráfico. Además, podían renovar el mobiliario, ya que había algunas partes rotas y algo viejas, como las sillas y la lámpara del baño.

Very budget type , didn’t realize it was more of a cabin, hostel type place . We paid a lot and thank god we had our own bathroom/shower inside. The cabins and hostel area were all shared bathroom, shower, kitchen facilities. They charge a lot per person for the shuttle from town and it isn’t that far. We paid $45 for a less than 10 minute ride. We also booked and prepaid a shuttle for the next morning that never showed up. I had to message twice regarding refund and the reply was that I’d have to provide far too much info than I want for a bank wire vs a refund back to my card.

A lire tous les mauvais commentaires, nous sommes arrivés avec appréhension. Alors oui il n’y a pas de meuble pour poser les affaires et il y a pile le nombre de fourchette, MAIS le logement est très spacieux, propre, joliment et nouvellement décoré. On entre via la terrasse, d’où la vue est très belle. Alors en effet c’est hors de prix, mais c’est l’emplacement qui veut ça. C’est idéal pour passer une ou deux nuits.

Le rapport qualité prix. Certes la qualité est quand même la, mais le prix c’est bien plus prohibitif !

The apartment was dirty with broken chairs, missing cutlery and the dishwasher was not working. Despite our efforts to communicate with the staff our issues were not solved.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr schön. Unsere Fenster waren zu Strasse raus, aber nachts war es sehr ruhig, da es keinen Verkehr gab. Die Wohnung an sich war sauber. Das Personal nett.

Es hat vor allem im Bad sehr nach Chlor gerochen. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung entspricht eher einem Campingplatz. Auch in der Küche könnte es ein wenig mehr Geschirr geben. Leider war unser Geschirrspüler defekt. Dies wurde zwar dem Personal mitgeteilt, der Geschirrspüler wurde jedoch nicht repariert. Aus unserer Sicht stimmt hier das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht.

most of the tools in the kitchen is not functioning well. when we cook by using the oven and the cooking plate at the same time it automatically turning off and making out cooking preparation delay. The dishwashing machine in one of the hytte that we stayed is out of order. We ask for assistance from the staff but she just told us if ever it shut down then we jut need to go back to her which very hustle. The check out also is very early.

The only positive thing about the place is the view

If a place is basic but neat and clean, that’s absolutely fine. But this was beyond gross. We turned around at the door and left without spending the night. The kitchen was in terrible condition. The dishwasher was missing its front panel, and there was an old chest freezer that was completely iced over. The apartment had apparently just been “cleaned”, but the floors had been soaked with water, and the bathroom was left drenched. It didn’t feel clean at all—quite the opposite, as standing water is hardly hygienic and creates the perfect environment for bacteria. The accommodation was far worse than just “basic”. The beds were uncomfortable, there was cheap plastic flooring throughout the entire apartment, almost no furniture, and everything felt old, worn out, and neglected. It looked nothing like the impression given by the listing. This place is simply not worth the price. Save yourself the disappointment and book somewhere else.
