Reviewed Aug 19, 2026Jenny is an absolutely exceptional and charming host, and she made us feel incredibly welcome and cared for throughout our stay. The house has breathtaking views, the peaceful sound of the sea lulls you to sleep, and the surroundings are filled with birds and an incredible sense of tranquility. She was attentive to every little detail and even treated us to delicious homemade, sugar-free peanut and chocolate cupcakes, which we absolutely loved. We are incredibly grateful for her kindness and hospitality and would wholeheartedly recommend staying here!

Reviewed May 18, 2026Everything was great! Jenny and Mike were so heartwarming nice people it was a great pleasure to stay. We had a Kp value of 5 and spotting the Aurora Australis from the room directly was possible with the phone and for some time even with the eye. To get an even better look, driving 15 Minutes to the Nugget point gives an obstruction free view to the south.

Malheureusement nous n'avons pas eu la chance de voir une aurore australe (le temps n'étais pas avec nous). Mais Jenny nous avais indiqué où regarder.

There was some confusion about the unit we booked many months prior, plus no one was home when we arrived meaning we had to phone to find out which unit we were in. Not a biggie but a message in advance of us arriving would have been preferred.

When booking online it might be good to be able to distinguish easily which of the two units you are booking. I'm sure both are lovely but the outlooks from each and access to the beach appears to be slightly different depending on which one you book. A minor thing!

Reviewed Apr 18, 2026Tolle Lage und schöne Aussicht (wir hatten das Zimmer mit Meerblick). Sehr großes und sauberes Zimmer mit kleiner Küche. Gratis Parkplatz am Grundstück. Schöner Garten und Zugang zur Straße bzw. zum Strand über eine Stiege im Freien (Achtung! Das Holz ist sehr rutschig, wenn nass.) Sehr nette Vermieterin. Am Abend kann man ganz wunderbar die Sterne beobachten (Milchstraße mit bloßem Auge sichtbar) und laut Vermieterin an manchen Tagen auch die Aurora.
Einziges Manko: Mini-Dusche mit Duschvorhang und fixem Duschkopf.

Juste un détail : le wifi est très instable et doit être relancé très souvent... Mais ça reste un détail...

Reviewed Mar 5, 2026It was in a good location to explore Kaka point, the Nuggets point house. They have complete facilities. Mike and Jenny are very welcoming hosts. The night we stay was very cold we get to use the heater.
If you are a bit late arrival, prepare to cook or the restaurant that still open are 20 minutes drive away.

Very close to Kaka's restaurants, shops, down an alleyway. Start of walking trails withing walking distance. Thanks for a lovely stay
Overall all good. Possibly the owners could check the bathroom plumbing because on an occasion some musty smell could be detected. Nothing persistent. Good that with the door to the bathroom closed and a small opening window in the toilet, it didn't spread.

Great kitchen facilities including induction cooktop, microwave, electric frying pan, rice cooker, toastie machine and coffee pod machine. Good size fridge with freezer.. Great view of the ocean. Blackout curtains keeps room really dark. Great water pressure in the shower. Off street parking. Private steps down to the beach/ main road/ cafe. Big TV screen.
Slight walk to the front of the property then few steps down to front door. Not an issue really a problem. Hosts get up very early in the morning to go to work. They are generally very quiet but still hear them if niot deep asleep. Otherwise they are really quiet and amazing to be hosted by.
