Reviewed Aug 17, 2026We loved the warm, friendly welcome that we received, lovely host! The unit was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The view was beautiful and we appreciated all the attention to detail. Location was fantastic. Lovely warm and comfortable bed and pillows and the lay out of unit 10 was great, with the bed in an alcove.
There is heating in both the unit and the bathroom, but maybe a more powerful heat pump would heat the room up more quickly, but we were on the end of the block and it was about 3 degreees and frosty outside!!! Next time we will take slippers with us as we found the floor very cold. But as I say, it was cold outside and once the room had warmed up it was fine. We didn’t let the property know of our arrival time, as it may have been warmed up for us prior to our arrival.

The unit was extremely cold when we arrived, housekeeper had forgotten to put the heating on, however this was fixed immediately.

Pasamos muchísimo frío al llegar. El módulo estaba a 8°. Creo que no le costaba nada al personal del motel aclimatar la temperatura del módulo para los clientes. Llegamos a las 17h, y nos tuvimos que ir al pub para entrar en calor, sin poder disfrutar de las vistas. Cuando volvimos, nos acostamos a las 20-21 horas solo con 18°.

The hand basin is small and no towel-rails are provided. Parking is at a distance from the unit and luggage has to be carried a fair distance.

Reviewed Mar 17, 2026Brand new room. Excellent facilities in a great location walking distance to the local pub for dinner and the beach. Great balcony, hot water - excellent shower pressure and easy check in. Plenty of parking.
Walls a little too thin - you can hear the person in the other room. The view from the room looks onto the car park and onto a paddock / houses. Not ideal but not bad. After all we were there only to pass through and not stay for more than one night.

Reviewed Mar 12, 2026The balcony room had such a beautiful view. You could actually see the lighthouse from our room. It was such a great location. We ended up catching the sunrise at the lighthouse since it was less than 15 minite drive away.
The bed was not comfortable. Most of the window latches were loose, so they didn't lock well. I think the toilet paper should be moved as well, because once we turned the shower on, it was soaked.

Reviewed Mar 11, 2026We stayed at the Kaka Point Motel for three nights. Excellent stay. The Motel is well equipped, sometimes a little bit old fashioned, but everything worked perfect and was spotless clean. Jacquie and Tom, the new owners run the business very well and we had some nice talks together. Usually I never write excellent reviews, why should I tell others, what's a perfect place, but these guys deserve an 11 out of 10 😉 We will definitely come back or tell our friends about Kaka Point
Only a suggestion: like in a lot of places, the outside chairs could be more comfortable, especially for big guys like us 😂🤣😂

Reviewed Mar 10, 2026Wunderschöne Lage mit Strand in unmittelbarer Nähe. Sehr saubere Zimmer mit moderner Ausstattung. Den Balkon konnten wir wegen Regens nicht nutzen, aber der Blick aufs Meer war perfekt.
Die Betten waren für unseren Geschmack ein bißchen zu weich.
