A insonorização para o próprio alojamento era inexistente, ouvia-se todos os hóspedes de todos os quartos e casas de banho. A casa de banho tinha imenso bolor nas paredes infelizmente.

Reviewed Sep 16, 2026The guest house is located right in the heart of Porto, making it extremely convenient to reach almost all the city's main attractions. The building itself is historic and charming, making you feel truly immersed in the atmosphere of Porto
The room was dirty, as were the bathrooms, which are old and clearly needs maintenance. There was zero privacy: the window opens onto a shared balcony with no curtains to cover it. To make matters worse, the closet was filled with dirty, old blankets. But that wasn't even the worst part. I found hair in the bed and asked the staff to change the sheets. Instead of helping, they told me a few minutes later that I could just cancel my reservation. It was already 6 p.m., and I obviously had nowhere else to go. I asked again for clean sheets and a curtain. After a lot of resistance—with staff claiming the hair was just blanket lint, and making excuses that they couldn't install a curtain because previous ones kept falling down—they finally changed the sheets.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026l'emplacement puisque je n'ai pas été obligé d'ouvrir la fenêtre la nuit, autrement je pense qu'il aurait été très bruyant. Le lit est confortable.
Pas de climatisation et un ventilateur qui fait du bruit. Très vieux, pas de serviettes, prévoir un supplément de 5 €. Compte tenu de l'état de la chambre, ce service devrait être inclu. Le WC bouge, chambre très petite je ne suis restée qu'une nuit mais demander 10 € pour faire le ménage quotidien est hors de prix pour la minuscule pièce.

Très déçues par la literie très inconfortable et vétuste(rdv osthéo en rentrant car trop mal au dos ), la propreté laisse à désirer, tables de nuits inutilisables car odeurs de moisi/ humide. Ce n'est pas un appart-hôtel, mais juste des chambres d'hôtel....(cf**) C'est assez bruyant car des restaurants sont en dessous et le tatoueur qui fumait en dessous et nous obligeait à fermer les fenêtres..

Laut viel Musik und teilweise bis in die Morgenstunden... das muss man mögen... Da ich in eine lebhafte Umgebung wollte hat es mich nur in den späten Nachtstunden gestört.
Kleine enge Zimmer, wenig Komfort. Toilette als gemeinsame Nutzung möglich.

La stanza era microscopica, un letto alla francese addossato ad una parete e con un micro corridoio laterale per muoversi,, no sedie, no tavolo, solo un piccolo ventilatore in caso di caldo eccessivo. Bagno funzionale ma ovviamente micro come la stanza. La stanza è situata in una zona molto centrale ricca di movida, per cui sotto la finestra vi è un bar con musica e schiamazzi fino a ora tarda. Va bene se uno cerca questo tipo di divertimento ma se cerchi pace e silenzio sei nel posto sbagliato.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026A única coisa boa do alojamento foi a localização. O preço apesar de elevado para o que apresentam, continua a ser mais em conta do que outros alojamentos disponíveis na zona, na altura em que foi reservado.
A porta de entrada do quarto não estava devidamente instalada, apresentando uma abertura na parte superior com cerca de 10 cm de altura. Além disso, pelo lado de dentro, apenas era possível trancá-la através de uma simples tranca de gancho. Estes dois fatores faziam com que o quarto se assemelhasse mais a uma casa de banho pública do que a um alojamento privado. A casa de banho era muito pequena, com torneiras que pingavam constantemente e um autoclismo sem pressão suficiente para efetuar a descarga de forma eficaz. Para além disso, as toalhas não estavam incluídas no alojamento e tinham de ser pagas à parte. No entanto, se solicitadas pessoalmente, eram disponibilizadas sem qualquer problema. Se podem ser fornecidas mediante pedido, questiono-me porque não são simplesmente incluídas desde o início. Acresce ainda que o interruptor da luz de cabeceira se soltou da parede quando lhe toquei. Por fim, importa referir que a varanda tem aproximadamente 2 metros de largura, mas apenas cerca de 30 cm de profundidade. Convém também alertar para o facto de que, caso seja solicitado um check-in tardio, este é permitido, o que agradeço. No entanto, a chave do quarto fica colocada no exterior da porta, acessível a qualquer pessoa que passe pelo local.

La habitación no tiene nada que ver con las fotos, es muy pequeña, tiene moho en la ventana y se escucha todo lo de los demás. Además, el baño está casi a oscuras y casi no hay ni espejo para verte.

The building and the rooms are extremely worn down and dirty. Nothing felt clean or fresh, and I had a hard time sleeping. Unfortunately, the entire place was quite disgusting. As a solo female traveller, I didn’t feel completely safe either. Nothing happened, but because the building is so run-down, the doors and locks are as well, and that made me feel uneasy. The bed was very hard, and the room was hot. There is no air conditioning, only an old, dusty fan. I also became very sick after the first day. I don’t know if it was caused by the mold (which was present in both the bathroom and the room), but I felt it was worth mentioning.

Não gostei do facto de termos de partilhar a casa de banho com toda a gente, torna se um pouco chato porque são muitos quartos e houve situações em que tivemos de fazer “fila de espera” para tomar banho.

Les toilettes étaient unstable et l’odeur était forte (il sent de dirt et moisissures). Le rideau dans ma chambre n’était pas suffisant de bloquer la lumière, alors il était difficile de me coucher. Les lits/matelas étaient le pire, il y avait les punaises dedans (j’ai plusieurs morsures que j’ai réalisées après mon séjour)

La casa es una casa antigua pero para mí tiene un encanto especial, la situación genial, en pleno centro, dormimos agusto, sin ruidos, todo fantástico. Gracias Carlos!

The shared bathroom (toilet) really needs some work. The toilet was wobbly, and just felt a bit grubby. I also thought the rooms could have really used a fan, given how hot it was on the fourth floor.

J'ai eu du mal à trouver l'hôtel qui est inséré entre 2 commerces. La numérontation et l'enseigne est insuffisamment mis en évidence. Maus ce n'est que mon avis

Reviewed Jun 18, 2026Central location, comfy double bed, mini balcony facing the restaurants down below, en-suite shower and toilet, fan in room, 3 plug sockets in room, 2 rolls toilet paper provider, 2 bins, large wardrobe and drawers provided with desk and 2 chairs. The room is compact but has everything even a full length mirror, good WiFi
Half a netted curtain to cover your window, no towels included in the price. If you are trying to eat healthily/dieting or are vegetarian/vegan- you will not enjoy the smells of roasting meats wafting into the room from the street full of restaurants below. If you are sensitive to sound - you will find the location noisy. If you are sensitive to light - the light from the hallway will enter your room all night- this could bother you.

Das Zimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und sollte mal renoviert werden.

Reviewed Jun 1, 2026It’s in a great location! You can easily walk everywhere and there was a great restaurant right at the door. The room had everything needed for one night in the sense that there was a bed, bathroom, shower was ok and I enjoyed the little balcony I had.
The toilet in my room did’t flush properly. It’s an old house so there was a weird smell in the room. I made the mistake of walking barefoot and the floor seemed dirty under my feet. It’s okay for like 1 night.

Sehr laut, unter der Woche Partypeople bis morgens um 5 Uhr. Im DG zu warm, um die Fenster zu schließen, daher wenig geschlafen. Betten sind nicht massivv, setzt man sich auf und lehnt sich an die Wand, rutscht das Bett weg. Wollte die Gardine zuziehen, die nicht arretiert war und somit runtergefallen ist. Bisschen blöd, wenn die Belegschaft die Wäsche direkt auf dem Balkon vor dem Zimmerfenster aufhängt.

Reviewed May 25, 2026Ich finde es eine Frechheit das ein solches Zimmer über Booking angeboten wird. Dusche abgeranzt, Schimmel am Duschvorhang, bezweifle das die Bettwäsche frisch bezogen war.

Reviewed May 24, 2026Great location. Reasonable price. Good code entry system that makes it easy to self check-in. Room was spacious and nice to have a little balcony facing the square.
Shower needed to be held to be used. Shower curtain dirty and not functional (the bathroom floor would get really wet/flooded because of this). We decided not to add on the daily cleaning, but we thought the toilet paper should at least be replenished.

Reviewed May 23, 2026I like the location, and staff were very accommodating and friendly. Premises are close to all attractions, and food establishments. Can be a bit noisy from the outside, but expected as students are partying till late.
Just a little grubby around the shower and toilet, and needs a bit of updating/ cleanliness on certain facilities and attention to detail.

Troppo sporca, il bagno era sporco come pure le lenzuola del mio letto, non era macchiato ma proprio sporca, quando siamo arrivati e fatto il check in siamo subito partiti per andare in giro per la città, solo quando siamo tornati e non c’era più nessuno dello staff ci siamo resi conto della sporcizia.
