We liked the location, and the hotel was quite beautiful and pleasant.

The service regarding the staff was average; they weren't very smiley or very attentive.

Everything was amazing. First it was beautiful and our suite was large with a patio. We also had access to the rooftop patio. Bathroom was super clean and towels of superior quality. The bedding was even ironed. Super crisp. Laundry on site. Staff was very accessible and helpful. The location was perfect for all of our activities and sightseeing attractions. So many amazing restaurants nearby.

There is nothing we can recommend to improve as it was all taken care of.

Great location, close to restaurants and bars in the old part of town. The room is large and well appointed including a very comfortable bed. We had a private terrace which was a nice surprise. 100m walk to the black and white cafe which does proper quality coffee!

Nossa estadia foi perfeita! Nós avisamos ao hotel que estávamos em lua de mel e foi preparada uma gentil supresa em nosso quarto! Ana é Elena são simpáticas e solícitas. A cama é ampla e muito confortável. O chuveiro é bom e o hotel oferece bons amenities. O terraço é uma delícia e a localização, excelente.

Location was perfect. Beds were comfortable.

The second day the towels provided were old and dingy. The third day housekeeping forgot to replace our bath towels and but once we sent an email, the front desk attendant quickly replaced them with nice ones and was apologetic. While the room and washroom were clean, the floors were not.

This is a perfect stay! The location could not be better. You are in the center of everything with so many great dining options. The rooms are spotless and have everything you could want or need. And the hosts are the most kind and helpful people!

La situación es excelente. Está cerca del centro, de la zona antigua, del paseo marítimo..., pero aún así es un sitio tranquilo y sin ruido por la noche. La cama y las almohadas excepcionales. Sin duda repetiría.

Sólo que hay que tener en cuenta que al estar en el centro de todo el aparcamiento es complicado, aunque muy cerca hay un parking de estacionamiento al.aire libre

Perfect location - I’m a light sleeper but I didn’t have any trouble sleeping whilst being in the heart of the old town. The lovely ladies at the hotel will help you with anything you need, sun umbrella etc. The room was very clean, it’s cleaned whenever you request it, the blinds keep it cool but the aircon is also effective.

The only thing I didn’t like is that I had to leave :)

Everything! The location was excellent, the room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable and everyone was super friendly and helpful! Great place!!

The place is elegant and clean. The room was ample and cleaned daily. The location was spotless: very central, you can reach everything walking (the closest beaches are at 15 mins walk) and it is in a relatively quieter street despite being in the center. You will still hear people pass, but it's not a huge issue (said from a light sleeper).

The hairdryer was very basic - kind of 2 star hotel one. I would have expected a big one. It was nice that toothbrushes and toothpaste, as well as slippers were provided. However, being summer, it would have been great to have daily water bottles (even the cheap supermarket ones). Instead, there was only 1 bottle (for free) for 5 days. As the place features "luxury" in its name, I did have this expectation.

A localização é realmente um grande diferencial, o que possibilita fazer muitas coisas a pé. O quarto e o banheiro são amplos dando maior comodidade. Além disso, a recepção pela equipe foi ótima, apresentaram todos os serviços disponíveis e também recomendações de restaurantes, mercados, farmácias, passeios e foram bastante solícitos ao longo de toda a estadia.

Super clean, great location, lovely rooftop terrace to tan and relax if it gets too windy on the beaches! Friendly staff too, we had a great stay :)

Location of the property is great. Walkable to everything in Lagos + even when there is no parking there is a city public parking area 5’ min walking from it. The owner was really nice and the place seems clean!

Everything was amazing, beautifully clean, spacious room and bathroom, modern vibe, lovely terrace, good location and everything you need. The owners were very kind, they also gifted us a bottle of wine for my boyfriend’s birthday. We will be definitely back!!!

It was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Staff were on hand for late check-in and to assist carrying luggage as there is no lift. The suite was decorated tastefully with everything that we needed on our visit. Property is well located in the old town of Lagos, allowing access to all areas.

Stayed for 4 Nights and everything was excellent, from location, to access and cleanness. Good value for money when compared to other properties within the Lagos area. Staff we excellent and room was cleaned on a daily/requested basis by hanging the required signage on outside of door handle

Noting to complain about. Its a beautifully modern/refurbished building within the heart of Lagos. Rooms are based on ground floor and 2nd floor levels,with access to 2nd floor by the beautiful marble staircase you can see in the accommodation details ( no lift)....so 2nd floor would not be recommended for individuals with mobility issues

Elena was a wonderful host. At one point we needed help with something and she was right there to kindly and graciously assist. Room was clean, airy and lovely with a great view of square below. Great location, steps away from a variety of restaurants. In the heart of everything, but room well sound-proofed.

The area was lovely- great walks from there. I also liked my room being made up every day. The room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable.

It was wonderful place. The only small thing was that after the first day there was never anyone at reception.

This was a wonderful stay, in the heart of old town where everything is walkable/not far from the beautiful sceneries Lagos has to offer! The amenities exceeded expectation and they provided freebies I didn’t even know I needed. I definitely recommend if you’re visiting Lagos!

Everything was very good. The room was very clean, and the environment was quiet and comfortable, so we had a very pleasant stay. We had a small misunderstanding about the bed type because of a translation issue on Booking, but the host was very friendly and helped us solve it quickly. We are very satisfied with the stay and really appreciate the kindness and helpful attitude.

Nothing in particular. The only small issue is that it may be a little inconvenient if you arrive by car, but apart from that, everything was great.

The place is in a very central location, the rooms have high ceilings and are very clean. Everything feels new and of high quality.

We had a room on the ground floor with people and cars going past the windows. We therefore had to keep the shades drawn all day, which gave the room a bit of a shut in feeling.

The large size of the room and the great view out of our bedroom across the trees in the square. The location was also very good.

As it was March it was lovely and quiet but could be noisy in high season.The decore is a little stark and Continent instant coffee was a bit of a downer but loads of great coffee & bakery places near by eg Black & White. There was a smell in the bathroom but we left the windows open all night and it went. Towels were thin and old. Not that I mind too much but those details are important for a 4star 'luxury' place.

Wunderschönes, liebevoll gestaltetes Hotel mitten in Altstadt mit einer tollen Dachterasse. Sehr gepflegt und sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden uns in Lagos wieder für dieses Hotel entscheiden.

The location was perfect! We love to be in the center of things and we could easily walk everywhere we wanted to go. The Bowden team arranged a shuttle to and from the airport and were available whenever we needed them and always so friendly. We would highly recommend staying here.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. The only small thing was we didn’t know the blinds went all the way down( we didn’t notice the switches until the second last day. )

Todo el resto muy mal . Super ruidoso no solo por el ruido exterior sino también porque se oye dentro del hotel si se estan duchando en el baño, si descargan el inodoro , si hablan , cuando los huéspedes ingresan y suben las escaleras, un motor que enciende en forma intermitente durante día y noche . No hay front desk, cuando llegamos debimos llamar por teléfono para que nos abrieran. Durante la estancia nunca hubo nadie y si quieres que te hagan el cuarto o repongan toallas , café, etc. solo de 9 am a 11 am . Resumiendo...jamás volvería

Tolles kleines Hotel mit in der Altstadt. Wunderschöne Dachterrasse. Schönes, großes Zimmer. Bei geschlossenen Fenster keine Lärmbelästigung. Leise, nicht störende Klimaanlage. Großartiges Frühstück auf Wunsch war ein Erlebnis.

Beautiful people, beautiful building and rooms, right in the heart of the action.

The room was spacious and spotless (like, “did someone hand-polish the air?” spotless). The location can't be beat, it's right in the center of Lagos, close enough to wander everywhere Helena and her husband went far, far above and beyond to make our stay a great experience. Even helping us with some tiny panics (you know the kind) before they had the chance to ruin our vacation. If you’re headed to Lagos and want a stay that actually lets you relax instead of just performing relaxation, this is the place. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Location, building is aesthetically beautiful with a terrace at the top. People running the property were helpful in booking a boat trip and booking a transfer at reasonable price to a train station an hour away. They also did laundry at a reasonable price!

I had a confirmed ground floor room because I am 77 years old with bad knees. When I arrived I was placed in a room up two flights of steps. I was told they had to put a Chinese couple three years older there. The other ground floor room was given to a fit man at least 30 years younger. I was never sent a message that the ground floor room was no longer available and I arrived at 9:30 pm Too late to make other arrangements!

Immeuble très sonore et dénué de charme. Un peu de déco rendrait le lieu plus chaleureux. Lumière trop violente dans la chambre. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas proposé.

Struttura in pieno centro di Lagos, in un palazzo storico ed elegante, in cui il colore bianco fa da padrone. Camera molto grande, bagno enorme, letto e cuscini comodi. Non abbiamo usufruito della colazione, quindi non posso esprimermi al riguardo. Al nostro arrivo in anticipo rispetto all'orario di check-in ci è stata data la possibilità di usufruire del bagno e di un locale per lasciare temporaneamente custodia le ns. valigie. Molti ristoranti e locali disponibili a pochi metri dalla struttura. Parcheggio pubblico disponibile a 4 minuti a piedi.

Essendo in pieno centro proprio va messo in conto un po' di rumore vista la presenza di diversi ristoranti/bar adiacenti, nulla di irrisolvibile chiudendo finestre, tapparelle e all'occorrenza usando dei tappi per gli orecchi. Il parcheggio pubblico è vicino ma per chi viaggia con trolley grandi/pesanti bisogna considerare che alcune vie sono dissestate o con sanpietrini sconnessi. Va messa in conto anche la mancanza di un ascensore. Tuttavia la nostra camera era al piano 1 e la scala era decisamente molto larga. Mi rendo però conto che persone con difficoltà motoree potrebbero avere problemi. Si potrebbe pensare ad un montacarichi interno ma ovviamente risulterebbe un investimento. Per via di una promozione molto vantaggiosa abbiamo pagato davvero poco la camera ma questo non dovrebbe implicare il non passare a pulirla per tutti e tre i giorni di permanenza, questa è l'unica critica che mi sento di fare.
