We had an amazing stay here! The room was lovely, staff were very attentive and friendly. Great location. Breakfast was delicious every morning! Special thanks to the boss man in reception for letting us use the pool and keep a key after checkout until it was time to leave! Great experience, will be back again :)

It’s a great vibe, we enjoyed a 2 bed apt and Suite for our family group of adults. Well appointed decor .. great location to get to everything in town! Staff super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was nice to have daily and yummy. Comfortable and perfect for our group of 5. Wish we had stayed longer! Would definitely go back! Book this now!

Driving is tight, but we lucked out and found in -town parking near by. You do not really need a car… but, we drove around Portugal and had a rental.

We had a fantastic stay at this excellent boutique hotel. It is beautifully maintained, exceptionally clean and perfectly located right in the heart of Lagos. We stayed in the Metal Room, overlooking the courtyard. The room was luxurious, with a huge, incredibly comfortable bed and a massive shower. Despite being right in the centre of Lagos, it was wonderfully quiet, making it easy to relax and sleep peacefully. The buffet breakfast was beautiful, with a great choice and everything we could have wanted to start the day.

Breakfast was excellent. Fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, eggs and freshly baked pastries. The plunge pool area was great to relax and the location was near the town centre but quiet at night.

Bardzo dobre śniadanie. Podawano dużo owoców a także tradycyjne portugalskie słodycze. Smaczna kawa. Miły i uprzejmy personel. Stołówka była cały czas dostępna. Można było sobie robić herbatę, uzupełniać wodę.

Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und die Zimmer waren gross und sehr sauber! Zudem waren sie liebevoll gestaltet, alles sehr harmonisch. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl, genauso, wie wir uns wohlgefühlt haben im Jahr zuvor!

Wir waren nun schon zum dritten Mal in dieser wunderschönen Unterkunft. Und das aus gutem Grund. Es handelt sich um ein sehr schönes Haus in perfekter Lage, zu Fuß ist von dort aus alles zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und schön eingerichtet, Frühstück ist inklusive und der kleine Pool ist wunderschön. Parken ist immer kostenfrei, man muss ca. 5 Minuten laufen und kann perfekt auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz (Friedhof) parken. Der Parkplatz ist riesig und immer etwas frei. Die Mitarbeiter sind ebenfalls sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wenn wir wieder nach Lagos reisen, kommt für uns nur diese Unterkunft in Frage.

Beautiful boutique hotel, very nicely decorated down to every detail. The breakfast was beautifully served and delicious. The pool was small but cute and very refreshing on hot summer days. João at the reception was fantastic, a true host and extremely helpful with all kinds of information, or even just chatting a bit about life in Lagos. I had a wonderful stay. I would go again and fully recommend it.

The location was great, easy walk to marina and around the old town. Breakfast excellent and staff so friendly and helpful. We loved the pool and spent our afternoons relaxing there.

We had a problem with the air conditioning not working in both our bedrooms but the downstairs area was working well. Because we stayed over the weekend it could not be fixed but they supplied us with portable fans which was a relief in the heat. They said they had were going to have it regased when we left.

Unbeatable location. Comfy bed, clean room, nice buffet breakfast. Helpful staff. Would recommend!

We upgraded to the top floor unit, which we would highly recommend as you get the entire floor to yourself, with a small outdoor patio. This property had a great location and the staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. Our favorite restaurants, Eattico, was across the street and O Mexilhao, was 2 blocks away.

The staff was very welcoming, the room was very clean, the bed was so cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was very fresh and delicious. The location was absolutely perfect, right in the city centre, with every restaurant less than 10 minutes away.

Given the fact that it is located in the city centre, it can get a bit noisy outside, however it did not bother us as much and we managed to sleep comfortably.

Breakfast was great. We had the top level suite which was very roomy and a new addition, I think. Very clean and modern.

Only drawback is that we had to go up four flights of stairs to our room. There was no lift.

Das Frühstücksbuffet wurde nicht direkt wieder aufgefüllt. Als Langschläfer muss man ein bisschen schauen, was übrig bleibt.

Eine absolute Empfehlung – Charme, Komfort und Herzlichkeit! Ich hatte einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in dieser wunderschönen Villa und kann sie jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen. Die Lage direkt in der Altstadt ist einfach unschlagbar: Alles, was man braucht – von Geschäften über gemütliche Restaurants und Cafés bis hin zu Massagesalons und sogar einem Zahnarzt – befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Alle wichtigen Attraktionen sind bequem zu Fuß in etwa 15 bis 40 Minuten erreichbar. Das Zimmer: Mein Zimmer war ein Traum – sehr hell, modern und stilvoll eingerichtet, aber dennoch mit dem wunderbaren Charme vergangener Zeiten, was perfekt zur Lage in der Altstadt passt. Besonders genossen habe ich den kleinen Balkon. Der Frühstück war ein Traum für jeden Feinschmecker. Der Service: Was den Aufenthalt aber wirklich außergewöhnlich gemacht hat, war die Gastfreundschaft. Der Manager, Joāo, hat mich persönlich empfangen und mich sofort mit allen wichtigen Informationen versorgt. Er hat mir sogar mit dem Gepäck geholfen – ein außergewöhnlich netter Mensch, bei dem man sich sofort willkommen fühlt! Wer eine Unterkunft mit Herz, Stil und der perfekten Ausgangslage sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Ich komme gerne wieder!

We were in the 2 bedroom apartment - 2 couples. We liked the daily breakfast and they accommodated a gluten sensitivity which was great.

The AC in the bedroom with the skylight did not work well the first night. However we used the AC remote from the other bedroom and got it working the remaining nights. Whew.

Die Lage war super, mitten in der Altstadt. Frühstück war klasse.

La chambre était spacieuse et bien arrangée, la salle de bain pareil. Le personnel était très aimable. La maison en général est très bien aménagée et décorée.

Le petit déjeuner était assez simple. Les viennoiseries étaient bonnes, comme les gros frais, mais la charcuterie et le fromage très ordinaires. Le bâtiment est mal isolé phoniquement. Le matin on entend un peu trop la douche du voisin et surtout les discussions sur le palier.

Großartiges Zimmer, sehr gutes Frühstück, sehr freundliches Personal und sehr gute Lage. Immer wieder gerne nochmals.

Die Lage ist unglaublich! Man ist mittendrin und trotzdem ist das Hotel total ruhig, eine richtige Oase. Das Frühstück ist liebevoll und def Gastgeber, Joao sehr zuvorkommend. Nachrichten wurden immer sehr schnell und freundlich beantwortet.

This was probably one of the best stays I’ve had during travels. It was on a quiet street yet minutes away from all the action; staff was incredible- so friendly and attentive to needs; the room was spacious, clean and had a great shower. The breakfast had freshly baked pastries… Would recommend over and over!

The property is a little oasis right in the heart of Lagos. It has a very meditative atmosphere and well decorated. Every area is well thought out and immaculately clean. Plenty of restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was plentiful with great service and choices. Centrally located to the marina to get out on water excursions. There are some climbs that can be challenging with luggage but that’s just being in Portugal. Don’t pass up this great B&B.

Perfect location in the old town, on a quiet side street. Very friendly staff. Very clean. We booked the extra large bed which was extremely comfortable.

No major issues, however we found the toilet paper very poor quality. The bathroom could do with an extractor fan as the bathroom got very steamed up. A bigger Television would been more suitable for our large room. We were surprised at being charged €20 for checking in after 8pm because our flight arrived in the evening. We have never ever been charged extra before for a late check-in, especially when we booked 5 nights and paid extra for a deluxe room. As I said no major issues but sometimes little things make a big difference.

Ein sehr nettes B&B am Beginn der Fußgängerzone der Altstadt von Lagos. Unser Zimmer sehr ruhig nach hinten hinaus -auch die nahe Kirche war nicht zu hören. Zimmer und Bad sehr ordentlich und sauber -Bett sehr bequem. Man bekommt rechtzeitig alle Infos übermittelt - u.a. Zu einem kostenlosen Parkplatz (unbewacht) ca 300 m von der Pension entfernt . Mit dem Auto kann man nicht vorfahren. Personal sehr freundlich - Frühstück sehr umfangreich , sehr leckeres - frisches Obst. Eierspeisen werden auf Wunsch zubereitet. Sehr leckerer Kaffee mit warmer Milch! Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Alles gut :) Für Menschen mit Einschränkungen nicht zu empfehlen (kein Fahrstuhl).

It is amazing! Beautifully designed and very comfortable. Rooms are very nice, bathroom was almost like a spa. Big windows facing a charming street. Location at the old town was super. Excellent breakfast. Joao was the best host ever.

It was a bit difficult to reach using google maps for the 1st time. Once arrived, i found it was really straight forward. So, qdditional directions would help for the 1st time.

Fijne plek in Lagos. Dichtbij de strandjes en het mooie vlonderpad. Je loopt zo de gezelligheid van het stadje in en toch is het heerlijk rustig. Lekker bedjes buiten om te lezen, maar ook binnen een fijne relaxruimte. Ruime kamer en badkamer.

Villa Zawaia ist ein Kleinod. Es ist außergewöhnlich geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück wird zurecht mit Bestnoten bewertet. Wir wurden von Joaò sehr freundlich empfangen und bei allen Fragen war er stets hilfsbereit.

Ett fint renoverat hus i toppenläge i Lagos. Mycket trevlig personal som gav oss tips på saker att se och göra. Den lilla poolen på innergården är otroligt fin.

Möjligen vädret men det har ju inget Med Zawaia.att göra.

Prachtig ingerichte b&b, goede locatie, vriendelijke mensen, heerlijk ontbijt. Wij hadden het appartement gehuurd, met een eigen woonkamer, grote bank, tv, keuken, twee ruime slaapkamers en een eigen ingang. Aanrader!

De kamer was heel mooi en sfeervol ingericht, het ontbijt is heerlijk en zeer uitgebreid en de locatie is top. Personeel is zeer attent en meedenkend.
