I love everything!

An incredible stay, we will definitely be back in the near future. Very kind and generous staff, neat and tidy rooms, beautiful scenery and close to the beach. We were treated like royalty and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a few relaxing nights away from the noise and business of life. If you have children, give this place a go, such kind staff and willing to help with almost anything.

Das Zimmer mit Meerblick ist sehr zu empfehlen und ist gemütlich. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Der Pool ist etwas zu klein.

Man benötigt ein Auto um in die Stadt zu fahren. Da das Hotel etwas ausserhalb liegt.

The room was smaller than I expected The wind made a whistling sound through the door/window during the night; you might want to address this as it was what made it not that comfortable.

O quarto tem bom tamanho e é confortável. Banheiro grande com bom chuveiro. O lodge tem área de jogos, área para fazer churrasco e uma área em frente a praia bem interessante, infelizmente o tempo não estava bom e a nossa estadia era de apenas um dia, então não foi possível aproveitar.

Chegamos no horário do checkin e mesmo assim o quarto não estava pronto. O lodge está em uma área residencial, mas praticamente ao lado de uma companhia de gás, e o cheiro na área da praia de algo químico era bem forte. O estacionamento é aberto para rua e a única segurança são as câmeras do próprio lodge.

Tolle Lage, direkt am Beach. Wegen des schlechten Wetter's konnten wir es nicht so nutzen wie gedacht. Zimmer schön, etwas kleiner als gedacht, aber ok! Frühstück auch in Ordnung.

Kein Lift, nur Treppen. Sollte man sich bewusst sein.

Our room was big and facing the beach and we could hear the waves that was so amazing. Breakfast was good and we were accommodated at our own time.

The windows were dirty, but I should imagine it's hard to keep up with the impact of the conditions from the wind and sea.

I absolutely loved Bay Lodge, especially its close proximity to the beach. The staff provided excellent service, the breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious, and the accommodation was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Overall, a wonderful stay—I would highly recommend Bay Lodge!

The hotel is more near rather than on a beach, there is a stairway down to a beach. The beach was not usable on our stay because of the tides. Breakfast ok but the cereal was stale.

Previous guests rubbish still in the room when we arrived, tea and coffee tray had not replenished, insects in the jacuzzi (we cleaned it ourselves), insects in the fruit at breakfast. Sheets were clean but the room itself had not been cleaned properly.

Very clean, beautiful view (we were upgraded to African Oceans their sister property) excellent breakfast, wonderful staff, fabulous bathtub!

Breakfast was good and the view lovely.

Upon arrival I could see the entrance was dirty. I understand it is a quiet season but the passages were dirty and our linen was yellow from age, and threadbare. I did tell the lady at the front desk that and she said she would discuss this with management.

The property is clean

The main thing was the steps could go to the beach only to find that they are not working and we were not even told on arrival. Now we had to use the community ones. There is no shelter for the cars . They also said my room will have a sea view, but not of that there.

Everything. It exceeded my expectations. All the amenities and extra entertainment you could want for a holiday spot. Gorgeous views and easy access to the beach. Comfortable, clean, and safe - I’ll definitely be back for longer as I just used it as a stop over this time. So comfortable and great staff.

There was no toilet paper in our room. No water to drink or any glasses ect. With breakfast we had no salt or cutlery had to go down and asked for some. Nothing in little fridge like booking said there was. For what we paid for a deluxe room we didnt expect not to have the basics.

We were given a free bottle of wine when our rooms weren’t up to standard.

There was already an unwanted guest when we checked into our room - a cockroach. The hotel staff then said this was due to the windows being open? This excuse does not make sense - we stayed just outside Kruger park earlier on in our trip and there were no cockroaches in our room there. We were then moved to a room without a working TV or WiFi - staff then had to move us to another room. After a 4 hour drive from Cape Town, we had to change rooms twice - never experienced anything like it at a hotel. Staff tried to be accommodating but the situation was a mess. Rooms were underwhelming for the price.

Preisgünstige Unterkunft direkt am Strand. Alle Zimmer sehr sauber und geräumig, gute Betten, tolles Frühstück auf der Terrasse direkt am Strand. Kommen sehr gerne wieder.

It was excellent

The location was amazing and so was the breakfast we really enjoyed it.

The place was not properly cleaned, the carpets had a wet terrible smell. The bed felt like it was sagging on the one side. Other than these issues the place has amazing sea views and the staff is super friendly. Hoping to return without the above issues. Staff need to do a thorough clean.

It was raining and there’s no undercover parking, moving suitcases from the car to the room and to the car wasn’t so nice. The breakfast room was very cold in the morning, a heater would have been nice. Shower gel was soo weak, we had to use the hand soap too

Hôtel avec tout le confort. Les chambres familiales sont spacieuses. Le petit déjeuner est incroyable et la vue sur la plage depuis la terasse est juste incroyable !

La chambre qui donne sur la piscine n'est pas la mieux je pense. Privilégiez une chambre avec vue mer!

Accommodatie op een hele mooie plek, heel Erg netjes, schoon en voorzien van thee, koffie, fruit en water op de kamer. Toen wij er waren was het niet druk en heerlijk rustig. De kamers waren ook heel netjes!

Alles was eigenlijk goed, alleen het bed/matras vonden we beide niet goed. Een goede nachtrust gaf het niet. Voor zo’n voortreffelijke plek waar alles goed geregeld is zou dit ook beter moeten.

Die Lage direkt am Meer ist phantastisch. Das Hotel war nicht ganz so wie erwartet. Im großen und ganzen aber ganz okay.

Der Whirlpool entsprach nicht unseren Erwartungen. Es roch etwas unangenehm nach Chlor. Das Zimmer selbst und das Bett waren sehr schön.

Location hard to find and balcony overlooked by other houses. Cramped feeling downstairs round the pool and breakfast was just ok.

Well laid out lodge, great quiet corner top floor king room with a spectacular beach front view, great game room, nice honor bar.

We loved the location of Bay Lodge Guesthouse, with its amazing sea view. The breakfast was delicious, the staff were very welcoming, and we felt completely relaxed throughout our stay. We would love to return for a longer visit next time to enjoy everything they have to offer.

Honestly, nothing. Our only regret was not booking a longer stay. There is so much to enjoy and experience, and time simply wasn’t on our side.

Tolle Lodge direkt am indischen Ozean. Dieser ist über eine Treppe zu erreichen und ist schön zum Baden und zum Spazieren. Das Frühstück wird draußen mit herrlichem Blick serviert. Die Zimmer zum Meer sind toll.

Stunning faculty and area

Sehr schöne und trotzdem ruhige Lage fern des in Mossel Bay such vorhandenen Touristentrubels. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Golfspieler, traumhaft schöne Golfclubs sind von der Unterkunft gut erreichbar. Das Meeresrauschen bei der direkten Strandlage ist laut und gut hörbar, wenn man ein Oceanfrobt-Zimmer bucht, was wir nur empfehlen können … Man schläft so schön ruhig und das Geräusch ist einfach nur traumhaft … im wshrsten Sinne des Wortes … 😉🙂🙂

Tolle Lodge direkt über der Mossel Bay. Die Zimmer mit Meerblick sind sehr schön. Es gibt einen Whirlpool, Tischtennis und Billard. Das Frühstück war klein aber ausreichend, Eier werden nach Wunsch frisch zubereitet. Der Strand ist über eine Treppe zu erreichen und wunderbar für Strandspaziergänge geeignet. Wir waren auch baden.

Super schöne Lage und unglaublich gutes Frühstück mit Blick aufs Meer. Wie im Paradies.
