The reception staff are extremely friendly, the food is great and innovative, and Jackson is an exceptional host in the dining room. The heated swimming pool is a bonus, although it could have been a little warmer in winter. Safe underground parking. The building is well maintained and the rooms are neat and clean. We also had a wonderful view. Highly recommended!

Due to the "recent" storm, of three months ago, it is not possible to reach the beach for a walk. Unfortunately the municipality is slow to repair the access steps.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The view was spectacular. The breakfast was delicious and in a beautiful part of the hotel.

Lovely clean and modern facilities with great view over the ocean. Indoor heated pool was a bonus (too chilly for outside pools). Evening meal in the restaurant was exceptional as was breakfast.

Steep ramp to get out of the underground carpark; our 1l hire car really struggled! It was also difficult to access the beach (not the hotel's failt) as storm had destroyed the access steps. Can't fault the accommodation though!

This property and its staff really are amazing. Beautiful views, meals were excellent and beautifully presented. Facilities are all you could want except that the spa treatments were not available.

Not much to complain about. A small gripe could be that the room was cold, it being winter, but the floor tiles were very cold and we would have appreciated a rug or mat. Another problem for us older folks was that there was only a bath. It's very difficult to get out of when you're over seventy and possibly a bit dangerous.

The staff, especially at reception and the restaurant went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable stay.

The balcony in the penthouse has large gaps which are dangerous for kids. And the drains in the wash basins were a bit clogged. Also, some warm yellow lights would have elevated the feel of the room instead of the bright white ones. But these small things aside we had a great stay.

Meant to book at Diaz Beach Hotel and when booking didn’t realise the VERY similar name and booked at Diaz Beach & Ocean Hotel which is very confusing . Enjoyed my stay though

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived. The hotel itself is beautiful, and my room was gorgeous, spotless, comfortable, & I had a lovely partial view of the sea. The food was excellent. I really enjoyed both the breakfast and dinner for the couple of days I was there. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would gladly return.

The staff was very friendly and caring. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Parking was safe and I enjoyed my stay.

The pillows were a bit too big for my taste, as I always sleep on my tummy and couldn't do so because of the size of the pillows. But just my personal preference, not a criticism.

Vegetarian options were always available, flavorful, and just the right quantity. We enjoyed the view of the ocean. The staff were always ready to help, kind, friendly, and went beyond expectation to accommodate all our requests . We recommend that guests have a car to do sightseeing.

It appeared that the swimming pool was available most of the time. But the one night we wanted to use it, it was out of order due to maintenance.

Everything is beautiful and the staff very friendly and accommodating - welcomed me back like an old friend. Food is absolutely delicious and I slept very well. The lady tending the spa also helped me with an emergency after hours and was a total super star and a gorgeous person.

A rug in the bedroom for when you get dressed would be amazing, as the tiles are very cold underfoot in winter. Even if it is just partially under the bed and sticks out a little at the foot of the bed, or so - does not have to be huge. But furthermore I cannot complain. All good.

An absolutely unforgettable anniversary experience We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary at Diaz and it truly exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel like the only guests in the hotel. A very special mention must go to Crystal at reception...her warmth and attentiveness were something else entirely. She took the time to arrange something special for our anniversary dinner and made the whole evening feel thoughtfully curated just for us. That kind of care is rare and she is a true credit to the Diaz team. The restaurant was absolutely outstanding!!!!! the food was delicious, the presentation was beautiful and the service was world class. Dining with those incredible ocean views as the backdrop made our evening truly magical. Diaz went above and beyond in every way. We left feeling completely spoiled and utterly relaxed. We will without a doubt be returning and we will be recommending this gem to everyone we know.

Loved everything about the hotel, a lot of attention to detail and we were surprised they were halaal friendly. The staff were amazing and welcoming. Had a great afternoon fishing just behind the hotel and it was simply perfect

The heated pool was unfortunately under maintenance which was the deciding factor of us booking the hotel instead of our other options but would go back again provided the maintenance is done =)

Das Hotel hat eine sehr schöne Lage. Nach dem extra bezahlten Upgrade hatten wir ein schönes Zimmer.

Wir kriegten ein sehr kleines und dunkles Zimmer direkt neben der Rezeption. Hat absolut nicht mit den Bildern und der Ausschreibung zu tun. Weil wir so nicht übernachten wollten, mussten wir ein Upgrade bezahlen. Nicht sehr kundenfreundlich. Das Hotel müsste auch renoviert werden

Nothing actually. On the morning of 7 April it sounded like a family with 5 children visited the warm pool area while we were enjoying the sun outside and they were so noisy & rough i just wonder what would happen when the rooms were all occupied.🫣🙄

I loved everything about this place, it's a 10 out of 10.My room was beautiful,had a sea view and had a balcony to see the mountains. Their staff are amazing all of them- reception, restaurant,cleaning team and their maintenance guys very friendly and welcoming.

Saknade omklädningsrum och dusch vid poolen. På rummet måste man stå i badkaret för att duscha och draperi saknades så det blev blött runt om.

Stayed at Diaz Ocean View Hotel & Spa and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the hotel itself is beautiful, and the shower was honestly a highlight! The swimming pool was great, the food was really good, and the location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

There was nothing we didn’t like. The only thing to note is that the food is slightly on the more expensive side, but it was really tasty, so we didn’t mind paying a bit extra.

Loved that we were walking distance from the beach & the heated pool was a plus point too. Room & facilities were fresh and clean.

Wir waren nur eine Nacht hier und leider entsprechen die Fotos überhaupt nicht der Realität. Der Pool ist sehr klein und das „Fitnessstudio“ besteht lediglich aus wenigen Geräten und ein paar Gewichten – das ist aus unserer Sicht keine echte Fitnessmöglichkeit. Die Zimmer wirken veraltet und eher sporadisch eingerichtet. Zwar gibt es einen Kühlschrank und eine Mikrowelle, aber insgesamt fühlt man sich nicht besonders wohl. Das Bett ist sehr klein und im Badezimmer gibt es nur eine Badewanne ohne Duschvorhang. Außerdem ist die Badezimmertür lediglich eine Schiebetür, wodurch es wenig Privatsphäre gibt. Wenn Nachbarzimmer duschen, entstehen zudem sehr laute brummende Geräusche. Unser Zimmer lag direkt neben dem Restaurant, daher war es bis spät in die Nacht sehr laut. Auf dem sehr kleinen Balkon gibt es keine Sitzmöbel. Der „atemberaubende“ Blick aufs mehr ist ein schlechter Scherz. (Siehe Fotos) Insgesamt stimmt für uns das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht. Wir hatten aufgrund der Fotos, dem Preis und Beschreibung deutlich mehr erwartet.
