Wayside Guesthouse

La gérante de la guesthouse est très gentille. Le petit déjeuner est tout simplement INCROYABLE ! La petite terrasse est très appréciable pour petit-déjeuner et passer du temps grâce aux jeux mis à disposition et aux guides qu'on peut lire. Les ventilateurs de la chambre non climatisée fonctionnent très bien et sans bruit.

Quite a well placed location and a quick drive from the airport. The rooms were nice and big. The breakfast that was included in the price was very generous. The owner, Jackie, is a cat lover and we felt right at home as we had to leave our 2 boys behind, and had 3 surrogate cat children for the weekend.

Maybe a kettle in the room. I like a coffee in the morning as I wake up without having to stumble down stairs to get a cuppa

Jackie ist wirklich eine tolle Haushälterin und sie hat viele Insider-Informationen, die man nutzen sollte. Sie bucht einen auch die Touren und richtig sogar Lunchpakete. Das Frühstück ist wirklich sehr lecker und man kann aus verschiedenen Gerichten wählen.

Mein Zimmer hat modrig gerochen, was wahrscheinlich an den Schimmelflecken an der Decke gelegen hat. Das Bad ist relativ klein und man sollte Duschen und Toilettengänge gut timen, weil sonst länger alles nass ist. Ebenfalls finde ich nicht gut, dass ungefragt die persönlichen Dinge zur Seite geräumt werden, um bspw das Bett zu machen..Es gab sehr viele Moskitos im Zimmer.

We liked everything about this accommodation. It was perfectly located, just a few minutes walking distance from many interesting temples and sightseeing. There are plenty of restaurants and food options nearby. The staff is really kind and helpful. There is tea, coffee and bananas for free. They stored our luggage at check-out, which was absolutely kind as we booked a night bus to our next destination Last, but not least, the delicious breakfast they served every morning.

I loved everything about my stay! The breakfast was the best—fresh, delicious, and with plenty of choices. The room was spotless and smelled wonderful, making it feel comfortable and welcoming. The location in the Old City was perfect, with night markets, temples, cafés, and restaurants all within walking distance. It was also an excellent choice for a female solo traveler—I felt comfortable and at ease exploring the area. I would happily stay here again!

我定的三人间，900泰铢，到店以后要我补450泰铢，说我是三个人，晚上入住时间比较晚，白天也要11点退房，原因是只有一个打扫的员工，来不及。白天楼下有一堆白女在开茶话会，也没地方坐。

房间不大但卫生条件非常好，鞋不进门且每天都会有人打扫，里面总是香香的。老板很热心，有什么问题都会及时解决，我们预定的时候没有连续可住的房间，到了之后老板很热心帮我们协调，最后只搬了一次房间，特别方便。每天早上老板都会亲自做早餐，营养均衡，搭配得很漂亮。老板是在用心经营小屋子。

ツアーの集合場所の近くということでこちらのゲストハウスを予約したのですが、市内への移動は少しアクセスが悪いかな？とは思いました。15分くらい歩けば夜市やマーケットがある所に行けます。

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Wayside Guesthouse! Alle waren sehr hilfsbereit und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war groß und geräumig, alles war sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker! Ganz große Empfehlung!

Que no tuviera aire acondicionado, que cuando te duchas se moja todo el baño, y no hay agua caliente. No te recargan el agua como en otros sitios, solo te dan al llegar. Aparte tiene un gato, peligroso para la gente alergica

​The service was perfect. Our host, Jackie, was very kind and made our lives so much easier. She helped return our rented motorbike and made us breakfast before our day tour (well before the normal breakfast time). The stay was a fantastic value. The guesthouse is located in the old town of chiang mai near to different cafes and restaurants but far from the night markets (you can rent a motorbike)

We loved the 3 cats living there. Jackie made our breakfast every morning - great choices, always with fresh fruit. Thank you for having us! ☺️

The hostes is very nice. She takes great care and loves running this homestay. The breakfast only offers European-style options, which are plentiful with about 8-9 choices, all prepared by herself. You can enter the homestay without shoes, indicating how clean the place is. There are two little cats, one black-and-white cat seems shy. Overall, staying here feels very comfortable. Next time when visiting Chiang Mai, I'll definitely book this homestay again.

L'unica cosa negativa è il bagno molto piccolo, con la doccia senza box e tenda. In realtà non è stato scomodo come poteva sembrare e si asciugava veramente in pochissimo tempo per cui non è mai stato un problema.

This was our first visit to Thailand. We met some really nice people and had a very good impression of Thailand. We were looking forward to meeting you in Chiang Mai because your hotel had a high rating. However, your attitude towards us made us feel very sad and unpleasant. Also, your attitude has given us a very bad impression of Thai people, which is a shame. To list the things we were disappointed about, 1. Your response to our emails was very slow, which made us very uneasy. 2. We understand that you are busy, but we wish you had listened to us properly. 3. You entered the room on the second day despite our request not to do so; 4. You tidied up the room early even though we hadn't yet checked out; 5. You didn't say a single thank you or goodbye when we checked out; 6. You were friendly with Westerners, but cold towards us, fellow Asians. For these reasons, we rated your hotel a 1. We would like to reiterate that we are truly sorry that your attitude has made our trip to Thailand a sad memory. You only prioritized your own work, not your guests. One kind word can make a big difference in our impression of Thailand.

Je regrette amèrement d'avoir réservé là bas, c'était pour une occasion spéciale qui a été gâchée et je m'en veux beaucoup de ne pas avoir cru possibles les commentaires négatifs. Les règles sont contradictoires, innombrables et menaçantes. Les chambres sont moyennement propres et les équipements sont défaillants. Ce n'est pas une petite guesthouse, il y a plus d'une dizaine de chambres. Vous êtes surveillés. J'ai perdu mon temps à chercher un autre hébergement et je n'ai pas profité de mon séjour.

It was a prime location for everything.The breakfast was always fresh and huge portions. The building was always clean. We have housekeeping every other day with clean towels. Jackie and her Mom were always around to help with anything.

There was no fridge that we can put in our leftovers. .
