Reviewed Mar 2, 2026Wir hatten die Suite mit einem traumhaften Blick für den Sonnenuntergang und dem Bloubergstrand. Sehr netter Empfang, Zimmer top, da wir spät angekommen sind, haben wir einfach den Blick vom Balkon genossen.
Leider war Stromausfall durch Bauarbeiten, so dass das Frühstück nicht so toll war.

Reviewed Feb 28, 2026Man fühlte sich sofort willkommen, Brian ist ein unglaublich aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Wir hatten das Mountain View Zimmer mit einem traumhaften Blick auf das Meer und Kapstadt. Das ganze Haus ist liebevoll gestaltet. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben als zwei Nächte. Super Frühstück! Jederzeit wieder.

Reviewed Feb 10, 2026Alles super, mit viel Herzblut eingerichtet. Brian ist ein Super Manager. Lage imens, Frühstück top. Jeder Wunsch wird gehört und wenn möglich erfüllt.
Alles 100%. Nur die Abreise war schwer. Wären gerne noch geblieben. Aber am zukünftigen Projet von Brian möchten wir auch teilhaben.

Reviewed Jan 5, 2026Die Lodge war super schön, schöne Gemeinschaftsräume toller Pool - die Aussicht vom Zimmer, sprengt jedoch alles. Selbst vom Bett aus, konnte man das Meer und den Tafelberg sehen. Am Abend noch das Lichtermeer von Kapstadt auf dem Balkon geniessen - besser geht nicht. Brian ist ein toller Host und Frühstück war auch top. Super war auch der Shark Beach, das Farbenspiel des Meeres - ohne Worte. Im Buffalo Resort haben wir noch eine Safari gemacht - diese war zwar überteuert und der Wagen mit sicher 30 Gästen gefüllt, aber letztendlich kommt es dem Naturschutzgebiet und den Tieren zu Gute, Der Guide, ein echter Bushman, wie er sich nennt, und Nachkomme der Erstbesiedelten Stämmen, war sehr gut,. Konnte sein Wissen sehr spannend vermitteln und war sehr professionell

He is the perfect person to make anyone feel at home, takes time for his guests, is allows available and not pushy, prepares the best pancakes, has the nicest smile, and so on… I would not have wanted to stay anywhere else. Also, the household-ladies ‘meisies’ were wonderful : kind, friendly, kept our room perfectly clean and also made us feel very welcome. The location is very good, not too far from Cape Town itself, nice and cool by the seaside, safe and restaurants/bar within walking distance.

The rooms were very spacious and neat, and we were even offered the choice to move to a room with a better view of the ocean. We had a delicious breakfast spread and I was allowed to shower after my running event which I really appreciated! One of the neighbours held a very noisy party (without informing anyone) which disturbed our peace and sleep, but Brian was very accommodating about the situation. We will most definitely return!

Our room was spotless, comfortable, and offered stunning views that we'll never forget. Our host, Brian, was incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. He made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Each morning, we were treated to a warm, homecooked breakfast made with care -such a thoughtful and personal start to the day. We also really enjoyed chatting with Brian-he was a great source of local knowledge and gave us some excellent recommendations for things to do around Cape Town, which we really appreciated. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area!

Unfortunately we got the City Suite which didn’t have the best view of the beach and was on the road side of the property. A few minor issues with general updating needed for example lampshades and ceiling glass needed cleaning but nothing to put us off.

We had a suite which overlooked the bay and Table Mountain and included a small outside seating area to admire the view although the room is designed to maximise the outlook with clever use of lots of glass. Our host, Brian, was delightful. He's a great conversationalist and interested in his guests to ensure they enjoy their stay to the full. Cooked breakfast was the best of our 2 week road trip and we wished we weren't going home after just one night. Great value for money too. Thanks for everything Brian
That we were only there for 1 night!! You do have to be careful how you wander around your bedroom if you don't use the blinds! Easily forgotten because shutting out the view is a 'no no'. I do hope the neighbours haven't complained.
