The WiFi was not working

The staff was excellent and very helpfull.

Breakfast include in the price consist of only 1x bacon, 1 x slice bread, 1 x egg and 1 x slice tomatoe with 1 coffee. When I ask what my options are, I was only given the Standard (Above) Option only to learn later that there were more option, but was not included in the price.

The bed was hard and very low

The cleaness and service was expectional.

The bed was uncomfortable ,the mattress has sunk down and no longer provides proper support nor comfort.The dog barking did disturb the peace and jumping on us and make us dirty .

I loved the location, in a safe place. I loved how clean it was. I loved how quiet it is and that it allows self check-in , but also has someone that is on standby incase you need something. I love how responsive the host is.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was exactly as advertised, and the accommodation was neat and well maintained. The staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming. We also appreciated the complimentary mini breakfast, which was a lovely touch. After we accidentally left a charger behind, the owner went out of their way to make sure it was returned to us. We would happily stay there again.

Really enjoyed staying at your property. It was in a very safe area for someone that comes from the lowveld and doesn't know the area it made me feel at ease. Also very convient as it is close to the shops and allot of restaurants. I especially enjoyed the company of the doggy that met me at the gate on my arrival he was super cute and friendly. Everything was clean and comfortable.

We found a bar fridge with few 4 cold drinks, chocolate and snacks. We didnt know that they were not part of the package. After we checked out we were given a bill on our way that we owe them for those items. Why put them in our room if they are for sale? We didnt even see a notice on the fridge that those things are for sale. we were told that a notice was on the fridge

The location was very convenient for our purpose.

Checking in was a nightmare. We had to download an unfamiliar app. The app required third-party consent, which I didn't want to give. The app then got stuck. Only hours before arrival, we were notified that our stay was on the first floor and we had to carry our stuff up a flight of stairs. This information should be communicated beforehand.

No aircon in one of the rooms we were in

Towels and toiletries are provided. Self check in. Quiet and safe neighbourhood. Close to most amenities in Pretoria east. The rooms maybe close to each other but you can’t hear your neighbours

There’s a musty smell in one of the cupboards. The neighbour has dogs so they bark at random times but that can’t be helped. Not enough parking for all guests as have to park outside the guesthouse

The room I stayed in, Room 3 was spacious, with a great air flow.I loved the balcony and the overall room design and decor.Linen is of good quality and clean.The easy check-in is a plus

They were actually renovating and they haven’t informed us about the renovations happening that they were going to close the kitchen for breakfast

This area is very quiet and the property is very clean.

Amazing owner as well as the host. So accommodating and friendly. They allowed us to switch rooms to our convenience and response time is excellent. Loved it

Just the small changes where we can no longer utilize the common kitchen and braai facilities although they accommodated us as we've stayed there before and assumed it's still self catering.

Stayed for a week at the guesthouse and was very well-looked after. BnB is in a great location, within a secure neighbourhood. Ladies working there were very kind and made a great breakfast every morning. There was also well maintained gardens, a nice pool and a couple cute dogs

We had an amazing stay at Kelkiewyn. We were there in total for 10 nights and the rooms had everything we needed. Every day the room was cleaned and coffee & tea restocked. The property is lovely and inviting to relax. Andene was amazing and helped us with everything we needed. We will definitely be returning next time we travel to Pretoria again.

The taps in the bathroom both opened towards each other which made it difficult to use.

I'm not a fan of dogs so I couldn't really spend time outside for some fresh air.

Location was safe and quiet.

The room I was allocated had space constraints, toilet was too close to tbe shower, the entrance door opens into the obstruction of the kitchen unit. The sound proofing between the rooms can be improved.

The host waited till 21:00 for me to check in as I was visiting the hospital. And they really are the most kind hearted people.

It’s a really good and decent property .

I hate the parking situation and they don’t have parking at all. A guy parked behind me as there wasn’t enough parking and it became an argument in terms of who must park behind who to accommodate all of us. Not an ideal situation and don’t think I ever want to deal with arguing with other guests as there’s nowhere to park. The place is really good but they need to sort this issue out honestly.

There were a dettol like smell in the room with only one small window. As I became sick at night with heart fibrillation , no emergency contact was available and we could not leave the property without struggling to get exit .
