Duke & Duchess Boutique Hotel

The welcoming

Nothing

It is quiet and peaceful

It’s more of a guest house and not hotel, towel’s are old they need to be changed.

Privacy, comfortable room, good breakfast.

DSTV chanels

Beautiful accomodation, nice large room and good location

Breakfast and Privacy

Dstv was a bit disappointing, think battery of remote may have been flat or remote damaged

The guy was very helpful

Nothing

The staff was friendly

The place is very dirty. Needs a lot of maintenance, the doors, TV etc. The door doesn’t close, it needs to be locked to close. The TV wasn’t working. The shower was soooo filthy 😭😭

The host and breakfast

The bathroom could be cleaner

Flexibility around check in time. Great breakfast.

Bath tub plug did not work, so could not take a bath ater a long day. We're used to more support, this mattress did not have a firm base.

Breakfast Tasty and right temperature

Please put electric blanket and option for flat pillows as well

The staff was very very good and they are so welcoming

Nothing everything was excellent

Everything

None

Close to everything

The food. There should be more variety and one must choose their own portions like a usual buffet. Felt like the menu was a bit limiting. Also we’d prefer a smart TV instead of just DSTV.

Quiet, free parking, swimming pool, tasty breakfast, perfect room with nice view.....

Netjies en skoon

Daar was nie n badmatjie om op te trap in die badkamer nie. Die stort se teels is baie glad.

The staff were excellent and the food was delicious The room was comfortable

The room was very nice and clean and the breakfast was awesome

The breakfast must be until 10 atleast not 9:30 coz some of us are not used to eating early

Exceptional

Open shelves for the crockery

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and transportation.

Nothing

The location was quite and beautiful 😍

The vintage look and feel

The shower door in our room was broken

Beautiful gardens. Good location. Good coffee.

The property needs a bit of maintenance. It has the potential to be really beautiful.

The distance to where I was going, outside is more attractive the the inside.

The hotel is not clean, towels are very bad, it was cold no extra blanket provided.

Everything was perfect,, except the bed mattress was not comfortable it need to be changed.

Nothing,

The reception lady is very helpful, welcoming and the communication also good and portray kind a very kind gesture The orientation good, room clean. Breakfast satisfactory also I think I will call again Thanks for the hospitality

Everything was super

The hotel was in a very safe location, it was a peaceful one indeed. I loved my room and the views from the Balcony viewing the pool was spectacular 👌 The staff was attentive to my requests and always available for anything. Will definitely come back again.

If only they can make the bed much more firmer, or have an option to ask for a firm bed and hard pillows (not everyone loves soft pillows) it will be great. Either than that, everything was amazing.

Friendly and very helpful staff, great location, great value for money, amazing food.

That I had to leave 😪

The place was awesome and definitely visiting again soon👌

We came before check in time and we were accepted without any fuss. The reception was friendly and welcoming. The place is good vintage and private. The food 😋

The property is situated in a peaceful and tranquil location, offers a great breakfast features comfortable and welcoming rooms.

The staff were not responsive and took a long time to attend to our requests

Schöne Lage, originale altenglische Einrichtung, gutes Frühstück

The food was nice and the manager was very welcoming

The room was not perfectly clean, tv channels also not good enough Only put one gown in the room while I booked for 2

Aesthetically pleasing

Breakfast options and not much to do at the property

I like that it’s vintage

Good location , I was given breakfast it taste good

The room was not according to my standard which I was expecting by the look of the picture on the web. I did not even sleep there I booked somewhere else.

Good location.

Room can do with a new matress

Located in a nice neighborhood with excellent restaurants and shops nearby. Breakfast was excellent, with a selection of cereals and 4 hot meals to choose from.

Under-staffed. The front desk closes at 6pm, which requires guests going out in the evening to exit and enter through rickety garden doors. They were also unable to accommodate a small laundry request because of a backlog of laundry.

I liked everything about the place

Everything

The total setup.

Amazing staff and breakfast. Excellent location. Very comfortable stay

Close to menlyn mall Clean Really nice room

The entrances to the rooms from the outside needs to be properly cleaned and painted

Loved the care of the staff. The ladies who supplied the breakfast and cleaned the rooms are real gems. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Pindi, became part of the family and was as excited as my daughter as we hunted wedding dresses. On the last morning she presented my daughter with a beautiful plate of food which she had decorated with a special message. Thank you for the Ubuntu and care you ladies showed.

The breakfast was excellent

No hot water and a broken toilet seat

The professionalism of the staff

The staff were friendly and helpful. They welcomed us very well. The food was good.

There was no microwave in the room. U can't warm up food at night.

Large room and comfortable.

The whole property needs maintenance. The rooms floor had loose and broken tiles, bathroom was moldy and needed painting.

Everything was exceptional Amazing breakfast Beautiful place

Bathroom globes need replacement above shower Signage outside doors at the back, to easily find your room when reception is closed at night

Stunning place with beautiful rooms.

The bed was super bouncy and pillows went flat! Woke up with a stiff neck and sore back.

Near attractions

All good but you van look at the toilet seat that is loose

Breakfast was fantastic, excellent location close to all the places we wanted to visit!

Nothing!

The staff was very helpful, and friendly, went above and beyond to attend to our every need, location is superb, breakfast was great and it is a very calm and clean place.

As much as they embody the Victorian era and provides a very great place for escaping the city noise and technology, an upgrade in the TVs provided wouldn't be the worst thing, especially for the younger generation

Lovely hotel. Great area. Good service. Friendly staff. Tastefull breakfast. Beautifull rooms.

no disappiointments.

We enjoyed our stay and will plan a return visit in the future.

Nothing

The quietness and cleanness of the place

I ate breakfast and got sick, i had to go get help as i wasn't ok until the following day

We were very happy with the hotel, it was a little further from the Unitas hospital than we realised.

all was fine, breakfast was excellent and staff were very helpful.
