Reviewed Jun 13, 2026Perfect location for my mother, close to shops and her friends in Durban North, for the 10-day stay before moving into her new residence. She was very comfortable and had everything she needed including DSTV, simple but adequate self-catering, dining table and chairs and a lounge area with a view of the beautiful garden and pool. Tersia was attentive, accommodating and very helpful which made the stay a pleasure.

Reviewed Jan 17, 2026The location is so close to shops and restaurants. The lovely garden and dear Cloe the precious doggie coming to visit with me. The shower water pressure was great. Good boutique of DSTV channels and a great working TV. Excellent, fast Wi-Fi. The host attended to my requests quite quickly.
There was a lot of security, inverter and multiplug lighting in the unit at night which made it harder for me to sleep deeply as I am accustomed to a dark room when sleeping. The fan was not adequate for the Durban heat. The fridge was a bit small and limited how much I could purchase for dinners.

The was no daily cleaning, except on check out date when we were rudely reminded that we should be out by 10h00 for them to clean. The distance from the beach was also significantly far, so the different distances to the different beaches should be specified on the advertisement.

Reviewed Dec 30, 2025- J'ai aimé l'emplacement, très proche d'un centre commercial, de nombreux restaurants, dont un qui ferme très tard. Aussi une station service pour dépanner si besoin 24h/24 - Le nettoyage est fait tous les 2 jours ce qui est suffisant. - La vue sur la piscine et pouvoir en profiter. - La liberté malgré le fait que ce soit un cottage, parfois on peut se sentir épié.
Juste un Conseil: Il faudrait aéré la salle de bain plus souvent sinon de la moisissure pourrait apparaître.

Reviewed Feb 28, 2025The Location was very good, with loads of Restaurants and other facilities nearby, within walking distance. Overall, Durban North has a very upmarket feel about it.
I was unable to properly close the bathroom and the middle living-room windows. The lever of the living-room window was broken. There were a few other issues, which I won't mention here, but which I trust the owner is aware of and will sort out ASAP.

Reviewed Jan 20, 2025I liked where the apartment is situated, next to the shopping Centre plus also next to the beach. The neatness of the place was the top tier for me, not forgetting how beautiful it is. Everything about the place was superb. I would recommend it over and over.

I'm not sure if the host was going for a kind of rustic quaint vibe, but whatever the "theme" was, it was adorable. it made the entire room look great. The photos don't do the place justice. It is very picturesque when the sun is out. The garden is beautiful and looks great in photographs. I loved how friendly the hosts were. They give you privacy, but also engaged with us and made us feel welcome and at home. The braai are was so fun to use, and the pool was great too. The bed is quite comfortable and we slept very well. The house was quite clean as well. All in all, great! I wish I could've extended my stay, unfortunately it is fully booked! And Rightfully so!! Great place!
This has nothing to do with the property but more to do with my fear of dogs but I understand a dog is a mans best friend and their dogs are friendly but I had major anxiety whenever I saw the dogs. My son and partner loved them. Other than that nothing really.

Reviewed Nov 15, 2024the location was very convenient as it has a lot of shops and restaurants nearby and its a walkable distance. I also liked the quietness of the place, and the view. I mostly liked the style and decorations of the room.
I didn't like that the room wasn't regularly cleaned in the morning or when we went out, we didn't get fresh sheets and fresh clean towels in the morning.

The little picket fence between the parking and the walkway to the unit can be fixed at the gate area for ease of use.

Reviewed Dec 15, 2023The room was tastefully decorated and comfortable. It was very quiet. Although there was no aircon, the breeze through the room and the fan was sufficient to cool the place down. The shopping and restaurant hub within a very short walking distance was great. I was made to feel at home and I even had a load of washing done at no extra cost. Thank you for a great stay of 3 days.
No steps down into the pool so as I am not so young, on the very hot days I was not able to swim. No comfortable seating outside in the garden.
