The Stables made for such an interesting and different place to stay. The Full English breakfast was delicious and our room was very comfortable. Would absolutely recommend 👌
No complaints! If you prefer a walk in shower, the Honeymoon room might not be for you - has a shower attachment over the bath

The owner is a connoisseur of the city, she made dinner reservations for us at wonderful restaurants, and recommended exhibitions. Reinette is a fabulous host - friendly and accommodating and does a great breakfast too! We had some super conversations and she was able to take us on a tour round the church (which is at the centre of the town) before the Sunday service.

The location is excellent - all of the restaurants and cafes are a short walk away. Our host was so lovely and helped us with reserving a table for dinner at the local restaurant. Not only was our host very knowledgeable about the area and guided our visits to local restaurants and attractions, she is also hugely charming and engaging. What a joy! The rooms were beautiful, and the cleanliness and service was top notch. A return visit is being arranged only because of this guest house experience. I'm afraid that very few venues in the country will beat Somerset Stables and recommend it unreservedly! Juli
