Nice place very close to the national park

Surrounded by nature, it's a very peaceful and relaxing place. The large outdoor seating area in the garden has a kitchen and everything you need to cook. Free coffee, hot and cold water are also available. I also really enjoyed the delicious meals prepared by the lady who made your meal to order very quickly for a very low fee. The owner of the guesthouse, Mr. Tony, is very kind, helpful, and polite. The staff are very polite and respectful. It was the most comfortable place I stayed during my two months in Malaysia. You don't need to look anywhere else in this area; I highly recommend it. I will definitely come back.👍👍👍

Guesthouse très bien située pour randonner dans le parc national. La cuisine partagée et la terrasse extérieure sont un plus. Tony est de bons conseils pour découvrir les alentours ! Nous recommandons ce petit coin de paradis !

ホストの皆さんは親切で、ゲストとの交流も出来ました。 ジョージタウンとはまた違った趣きの、ローカル向けの食堂で食べるご飯が美味しく、旬の果物も楽しめました。 共用の冷蔵庫と台所があるので、テイクアウトしてきたローカル飯を食べたりもできます。

レンタルの自転車のコンディションは若干あやしいですが、無理な運転をしないぶんには役に立ちます。

Great communal area kitchen also have large whiteboard with local activities, restraunts and can cook breakfast menus from morning until night.

Only negative is bikes are really shyt!

This place is a nature reserve! It has been grounding, refreshing and peaceful of a stay. I highly recommend. I felt like I was at home. Many people stay for one/two months. It’s perfect for chilling, working, and nature.

This place is a little paradise for travellers who need to sit and relax. You will find a fridge, kitchen, laundry and everything you need. I booked 3 days, I stayed one month

It's not a small guest house; it's a bigger business with more than a dozen rooms. The photos show a big sign that says “free bikes,” but in reality you have to pay 2 RM—yes, that’s practically nothing. It’s more about misinformation; I’m allergic to trickery.

There was construction going on during my stay, and it was very noisy every day. I didn't receive any information from the owner, or even a single word of apology.

Its a really lovely place i highly recommend it for travelers if you want to rest a little bit longer

环境幽静并且干净整洁，有提供厨具以便旅客自行烹饪，也有需要支付两令吉就能使用洗衣机。大厅中有当季水果免费供租客品尝。我们非常幸运当时是红毛丹的季节，在那里吃了个痛快，还带了许多回家。听屋主说之前还有自家种的榴莲请租客食用。屋主非常亲切而且说话十分斯文，知道我们初来乍到还推荐当地的摊位，早上知道我们要去他推荐的餐厅时还会很热情地为我们带路。我觉得这次体验非常好，很喜欢他们提供的服务。

Tony’s guesthouse has a really comfortable feel to it. There is a large common space that everyone can hang out/cook in. Mina is lovely and makes delicious food you can order at a very reasonable price. Tony is nice too and brought durian for us to try. It’s in an ideal location for exploring the national park. Takes an hour by bus to George Town but the buses are frequent. There are bicycles to ride at the property to get around town and facilities to do washing at the guesthouse. Overall, a very chill and homely place to stay that attracts laidback travellers.

I had a nice time staying at the guesthouse, very basic rooms but everything you need in the communal areas, I never haid to wait to use a bathroom and everybody was very nice, I even got to eat a fresh Durian from the trees outside

Personnel super sympa, ils m'ont même ramener à larret de bus à la fin du séjour. Très bel endroit pour rencontrer du monde, goûter du durian et du rambutan

Difficile de refroidir la chambre mais je m'y attendais et finalement ça allait avec le ventilateur. Et comme on doit laisser nos chaussures à l'entrée du "living room", je me suis fait "emprunter" mes flip flop par un autre pensionnaire sans mon accord.. résultat je les ai cherché partout et j'ai du temporiser 1h15, le temps qu'il revienne. Je n'étais pas pressé heureusement. (Tony et sa famille n'y peuvent rien, c'est les gens qui ne sont pas éduqués)

Our stay was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. We absolutely loved the four cats—they were so lovely! The parrots and other birds were adorable as well. The hosts were very friendly, and the owner even shared some delicious durians with us. It felt like a true home away from home!

They offer a cozy, fan-cooled room for a simple, budget-conscious stay. As there is no air conditioning, it may get warm—we recommend bringing your own slippers to ensure you are comfortable while moving about the room.

A wonderful stay in the heart of nature. I had an amazing stay at Tony's Guesthouse. The property is nestled in nature, with a beautiful garden full of trees. Every evening, Tony treated us to fresh durian, rambutan, and bananas – all from his own garden! Within a 20-minute walk, you can reach Entopia, a butterfly farm, and right next to it is the Eco Forest, where you can take a 4-hour jungle trail , a truly immersive experience. Mina also cooks incredible meals for anyone who wishes to eat at the accommodation!! Highly recommended! Tony himself is a fantastic host and went out of his way to help me with everything I needed. If you're looking to escape the city and stay somewhere peaceful, surrounded by nature, this is a brilliant choice. I would definitely stay again.

It was a great getaway! I ended up staying for several more days. Rambutans are in season! The owner was so kind to give us free flow rambutans from the garden!

There is a big communal area equipped with fridges, kitchen, dinner table, hammocks couches etc. The layout is very comfortable, there are cats, dogs and other animals. A private room for the low price is very inexpensive and the bathrooms are clean and always equipped with toilet paper.

Tout était propre, le personnel très sympathique ! Il y a une grande cuisine commune super pratique et un lave linge à disposition contre une toute petite contribution financière !

Perfekt für Naturliebhaber, die gerne ein privates Zimmer, aber nicht den gemeinschaftlichen Vibe eines Hostels im Gemeinschaftsbereich vermissen wollen. Man trifft immer Reisende jeden Alters mit denen man Reisegeschichten austauschen kann.

Located in Teluk Bahang which is convenient for those who wishes to go to Penang National Park, Entopia, ESCAPE and other attractions around Batu Feringghi

The floor was a bit sandy but its not inconveniencing us. There was also a dead cockroach when we first checked in, not really a big deal but something to take note of.

The landlord is a kind and calm person, the space is cool and very close to nature.

The place was comfy, clean & relaxing

The place is in the middle of quiet and peaceful jungle near Escape Penang. It has clean rooms and a pantry where all guests can meet and cook their food whilst hanging out and talking about life, reading a book or playing a guitar, whatever suits you. I also like the sound of the birds singing. The lady the reception is so helpful and kind. The owner drove me to the bus station after checking out. To sum it up the hospitality is excellent!

Great vibes. The energy there is great. Great chance to meet like people and exchange ideas. The place is newly upgraded and looks brand new. Will definitely recommend this place.

Tony was really helpful and came to the bus station with his car to catch us. This is a beautiful community place with a large shared terrace where you can cook, wash your clothes for 2rm and take a book from the shared library. Basic bicycles are also available for 2rm/ day to go around

The shared bathroom was a little moldy. After mentioning it, the staff cleaned it 👌

La nourriture servie était délicieuse. Chambre spacieuse et confortable. Tout était parfait. Une vraie zone de détente.

Está ubicada en el medio de la naturaleza, todos fueron muy amables. Está Nina que te prepara unas comidas deliciosas y a buen precio durante todo el día. La habitación tenía aire y ventilador.

Solo no me gustó que tenía unos pájaros encerrados en jaulas y por la mañana temprano empezaban a cantar sin parar. Me gusta que canten pero no encerrados. Quizás fue porque teníamos la habitación más cerca de las jaulas. Aún así todo lo demás espectacular.

Tony's is like a good uncle, who's happy to share his guest house, showing us around his town, and even driving us to different parts of the island that's out of his way. It's really relaxing with greenery and everything to help us wind down and enjoy being in nature. His guests are very kind and good people - it's a beautiful sense of community there

I loved it here. Fortunately I was told of the upcoming rambutan season and will definitely make a trip back in a couple months for the harvest! Tony and Karen are such lovely and kind hosts. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

I loved the openness of the large sitting area within a green space. Not confined within 4 walls. Kitchen with fridges, cooking facilities. Washing machine with lots of room to hang clothes. Lots of seating. Gazebo with fan and seating. The beds were comfy.. Tony is very warm / friendly.

About a 20 minute walk from the bus. But nice to be in a green space. I didn't like the smoking inside the sitting/ dining room area. There were no staff to greet us. Didn't see anyone until the next day. The atmosphere was partly low budget, long term living. And some active travelers.

A great place for leisure and vacation.

Un luogo immerso nel nulla, molto spartano ma davvero rilassante. Le camere sono molto semplici ma per me che viaggio zaino in spalla andava più che bene. C'è una bella zona comune aperta con la cucina e dunque la possibilità di cucinarsi i propri pasti. Fuori ci sono tanti cagnolini, gatti e uccellini diversi che gironzolano, si è proprio immersi nella natura. Molto carina la possibilità di noleggiare la bici per pochi riel.

Mi è piaciuto tutto ma certamente c'è da tenere conto che questo posto è molto isolato. Non ci sono supermercati nelle vicinanze, c'è bisogno di camminare qualche km e di notte non è bellissimo. Se avete lo scooter non c'è nessun problema, sennò vi conviene prendere la bici e fare la spesa al pomeriggio. Inoltre, di sera non c'è vita sociale in questa zona, c'è da andare verso Batu Ferringhi dunque, abbastanza importante avere lo scooter o, prendere i bus, che però...passano quando vogliono, sempre se passano! ;) Volendo si può utilizzare anche Grab, è più costoso, ma qualche taxi c'è.

A lovely, peaceful vibe to Tony’s place as soon as you walk in. Lots of cute cats and animals that welcome you. The bikes to get around the village on are great. Clean and comfortable rooms, clean bathrooms and communal area with a full kitchen. Everyone there - staff & guests - were kind and helpful with whatever we needed including suggestions, travel advice and a lift to the bus stop!

The guesthouse was tucked in a orchard, quiet. filtered drinking water machine is provided. washing machine, bicycle were available with a small token. Its about 1.5km away from stalls and Penang Taman Negara.

The bed was a bit not comfy but not a big deal. Slept well anyway.

I like the detailing put into this place. A long table for meals and get together, the sofas put together to allow discussions and meeting new friends, the hammocks for chilling and even a small hut in the middle of the garden for those who want to be alone. This place is more than just a place to rest your head. It is where friendships are forged.

A very beautiful place！

Super ambiance cool et décontractée chez Tony's guesthouse. Mention spéciale pour la gentillesse du propriétaire qui nous a déposé gratuitement à la station de taxi de Batu Ferringhi de bon matin car aucun chauffeur Grab n'était disponible. Nous avons pu prendre notre bus grâce à lui et le remercions. Nous recommandons cette guesthouse pour sa gentillesse, simplicité et proximité de beaux endroits tels que le Penang National Park.

I loved it here, because it’s non peak season it’s very quiet. Tony and Karen are so warm and welcoming. Always ready to answer your questions and at your service. I’ve ended up extending with them for a few more days!

Tony’s Guest House is a simple, friendly, and sociable place, perfect for exploring the island. It offers a very authentic guest house experience: basic but clean accommodation with a welcoming atmosphere. Guests can use bicycles and a washing machine, and the host is also happy to cook local dishes on request. The property faces the forest, and occasionally monkeys come by, which makes the stay feel even more unique and connected to nature.

The rooms are quite basic and only have a ceiling fan for ventilation, which may not be sufficient during the hottest periods. (But that's okay for what you pay and the overall experienced)

Very clean and peaceful place. The environment is comfortable and relaxing. The house has a kitchen, washing machine, refrigerator, and a small garden. I enjoyed staying here.

Tony and is team are great. Tony even dropped me in town the day I left. Room was comfy and good value for money. I loved the community vibe in the open living spaces with space to relax and socialise if you choose. I loved the town and ending uo staying an extra day. Visit the main street at 5/6 to pick up dinner on the way home from the market. Its a bit out of toen but you csn hire bikes for very cheap to get into toen which is good. Great location for me to visit cat beach.
