Reviewed Jan 12, 2026Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich durfte etwas früher einchecken und bekam sogar ein Upgrade auf ein Einzelzimmer. Es war sehr ruhig und ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist gut, es sind ca 15 min bis zum Hafen und direkt neben der Unterkunft gibt es ein gutes Local zum Essen gehen.

The only thing missing would be air conditioning, but that would probably nerf the good price So it’s a good trade off because of all the advantages this place has

Reviewed Sep 5, 2025La atención, sin duda. El sitio está a las afueras de Lagos (al otro lado del puerto), pero muy bien ubicado: 5 minutos en coche y 20 min. caminando. Es una zona tranquila y segura, facilidad para aparcar. Las instalaciones son amplias, está todo limpio y la atención... un primor. Muy buena comunicación antes de la llegada y también durante la estancia. Repetiría sin duda, el ambiente es bueno y el sitio... una maravilla ideal para relajarse.
Todo estuvo perfecto. Un 10.

bardzo skrzypiące łóżka niepozwalające spać, reflektory reagujące na ruch włączające się samoczynnie przez całą noc co kilka minut, których światło ustawione jest prosto na łóżka. Bez zakrycia oczu i zatkania uszu nie da się spać

Reviewed Aug 27, 2025La ubicación, el espacio de la habitación,el trato del personal. La limpieza.
La ducha estaba rota, es decir es de telefonillo y no tenía el soporte por lo que tenías que cogerla con una mano y con la otra ducharte. En el otro baño la ducha está tapada, cuando te estás duchando desborda el agua, no tragaba. Por otra parte la habitación es sin aire y lo dice el anuncio mala mia que no lo leí, sin embargo a 40°C por el día en una habitación en la que el sol el todo el día solo había un ventilador mini que al distanciarte menos de un metro de el ya no te daba el aire y habían dos camas que además una de ellas la orientación no permitía que le diera el aire, la verdad que era un ventilador absurdo no pudimos descansar era una sauna la habitación. Luego había un pequeño frigorífico que nunca enfrió, le dimos a la ruleta para todos los lados posibles y jamás enfrió. Comentamos esto al final casi de la estancia y dijo que podía haberla arreglado, pero bueno lo dejamos así ya para lo que quedaba. Para ir en una época más fresca ningún problema, la TV no se pudo usar tampoco ( cosa que nos daba más igual).

Reviewed Aug 27, 2025Zeer ruime kamer, met een fijn balkon. Dichtbij gelegen ligt zowel het strand als het oude centrum. Wij hebben alles te voet kunnen doen.
Het is er redelijk luidruchtig, je hoort de wind buiten en wij hoorden regelmatig beneden deuren van andere gasten dicht gaan.

Les lumières étaient à détecteur de mouvements dans le dortoir donc toute personne bougeant pendant la nuit éclairait le dortoir au complet. La femme travaillant à l’établissement était complètement désagréable peu hospitalière. L’homme étais gentil.

Odeur très désagréables provenantes de la salle de bain, propreté succincte ( miettes peluches, poussières cheveux dans la douche qui est commune) brosse wc toute rouillée ), pommeau de douche cassé, prise côté lit chambre 4 cassée. Bien pour une ou deux nuits. Emplacement éloigné des plages et du centre ville. Les logements ne sont pas adaptés aux personnes handicapées ( escaliers , pas d’ascenseur) Parking public ( stationnement compliqué car il y a beaucoup de résidences autour )

Reviewed Aug 4, 2025We werden hartelijk ontvangen en voelden ons meteen welkom. De kamer was groot en gezellig, met voldoende comfort om heerlijk te ontspannen. Ook de badkamer was ruim en praktisch ingericht. Alles samen zijn we zeer tevreden over ons verblijf en zouden we dit zeker aanraden!
Het enige minpuntje: de kamer had geen airco. Tijdens ons verblijf was het zéér warm en airco zou zeker welkom geweest zijn.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2025La ubicación, si bien no es céntrico se puede ir andando (10 min) y también a Meia playa (recomiendo). Es como un apartamento con 2 habitaciones y 2 baños. Cómodo, estaba todo muy limpio.
La cama y almohada super finas, muy incómodas. Otra cosa rara fue que lo primero que me preguntaron en la Recepción al llegar fue qué cuantos años tenía! Un Hostel orientado a la juventud.. quizás debería estar más explícito en Booking.

Reviewed Jul 22, 2025La guest house si trova in una posizione tranquilla e rilassante lontana dal centro più caotico, ma comunque in una posizione ottima. A 12 minuti dalla stazione dei treni e a 15 dal centro storico. Il proprietario è stato molto gentile con noi. L'ostello è pulito e ordinato.

Reviewed Jul 19, 2025Es hat uns total gut gefallen. Wir hatten eigentlich ein Hostel gebucht, wurden aber einfach so in ein Privatroom upgegraded. Dieser war total super, rieseger balkon mit Blick auf die Stadt und aufs Meer. Das Bett war etwas hart aber damit kann man leben. Es gab ein Kühlschrank, Fernseher Mikrowelle, und ein eigenes sauberes Bad im Zimmer. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.
Man braucht schon 15 min in die Stadt zu Fuss aber ist okay kann man sich nicht beklagen. Es gibt keinen günstigen Supermarkt in der Nähe.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2025We got a very warm welcome from the owner! We loved the balcony, and the wardrobe was huge which was nice to store our clothes and bags and not leave them on the floor. Overall a really great place! The mini fridge was also useful.
Although it is mentioned, we didn’t realize it was going to be so far from the beaches, a 40 min to 1 hour walk. Also it would have been nice to have hangers or shelves in the bathroom to hang our towels and clothes.

The mixed dorm is right in the entrance to the house, so whenever someone comes home they wake you up. Beds were small and uncomfortable. Wifi didn’t work inside the house.

We took the room with an attached bathroom. But other rooms had a common bathroom in the hallway which you could hear all the time. Early morning and late night it disturbed my sleep.

The accommodation is part of a family house, but the room is completely separate, so we had full privacy throughout. Parking was straightforward and stress-free, and the location was ideal: two large supermarkets nearby, a handful of nice local restaurants, and super easy access to the highway for day trips. Definitely a great base if you're exploring the Algarve and want comfort and convenience without sacrificing local charm.

The staff is very very friendly and attentive with the guests, always able to help you. The only thing that I can say is thanks a lot for everything.
