Lovely quiet stay once we had worked out the check-in procedure..Great breakfast and friendly, helpful staff

Mantenamiento pésima. Various appliqués y grifos rotos en el baño, falta de agua fría en la ducha. El porta papel higiénico roto. Algunos muebles del habitación con pequeñas roturas y marcas. Además un desayuno deficitario y con servicio questionable.

Tucked away in a quiet area. Sister property has a great restaurant. Room had a great soaking tub and tastefully decorated.

The only feedback would be for the hotel to contact prior to arrival in regards to checking in where to go and codes etc besides that a great experience!

Location was very good. The name of the house we stayed in was confusing.There was a different name on the hotel info to the actual name on the house we stayed in. It was inconvenient. Great value for the lovely room we stayed in. Bad step going into bathroom for the older generation especially. Lovely and quiet.

The dinner in the hotel across the way was disappointing. It was pricy. Some items were not on the menu. As it is the only real option for dinner in Slane it would be very much in Boyne House's interest to ensure that the hotel are providing good value and choice to the customer.

The luxury. Seclusion and peacefulness in large grounds yet only one minute walk to centre of village. Specifically, the Conyngham Arms sister Hotel (lovely gardens), where we had dinner) and breakfast in restaurant. Staff there were excellent, especially Jamie, who was most obliging attentive and very courteous, a real professional and genuine nice person.

The location is perfect, it included breakfast in the hotel which was delicious. The rooms were stunning and very spacious. Will definitely be back

The beds were comfortable.

The room was so hot that it was impossible to sleep. It felt like the heat was on. The bathroom floor was heated, which would be great for winter but not summer. Also the walk way to the breakfast was covered with bird poop.

Ein tolles riesiges Anwesen, sehr ruhig. Riesiges Zimmer wie aus früheren herrschaftlichen Zeiten. Sehr gutes Frühstück.

Man merkt, dass das Haus schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Die Fenster hätten dringend geputzt werden müssen.

Overall loved it Our bedroom was open when we arrived and it was good because the night porter had given us a wrong key, which we returned in the morning.

While we were in the room (bathroom),someone of the staff open the door and almost came in the room! We were shocked and stopped them ( shouted ). They were sorry and left,but we couldn’t properly relax after that.. 😅

Lovely big rooms, we stayed in the Manor house and the room/bathroom was huge and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Lovely area with a nice garden to walk through to the town. Breakfast from the menu was nice but there wasn't much in the buffet. Friendly and attentive staff.

Staff Location for touring Comfortable room Food

Amazing room with - a first for me! - a chaise longue. The room was huge, about the same size as the footprint of my house. Very quiet and peaceful night. Owing to a wedding, the restaurant was closed to other guests, so the receptionist booked us a table in a nearby town and arranged a taxi, the only downside being a €60 return fare in the taxi.

Shower was rather violent. The handset sprayed water over 10 feet across the bathroom to create a pool of water. Not a huge problem but shouldn't really have happened.

Breakfast ok but the food in the restaurant in the evening was awful.

The shower was dirty. There were places in the bedroom that hadn’t been vac for a long time. Peanuts on the floor.

Tolle Kommunikation wg Ankunftszeit und Schlüsselübergabe, Die wunderschöne gepflegte Anlage rund ums Haus, der kurze Verbindungsweg zum Hotel, wo es Abendessen und Frühstück gibt. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Kingsize Bett gebucht, das Zimmer und das Bad waren riesig und absolut liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Man kann zwar aus einer Karte verschiedene Frühstückskombinationen wählen, aber frei verfügbar waren nur Toast, Jam, Marmelade und Cerealien sowie Saft. Etwas Käse oder Wurst wären fein gewesen. Die heiße Schokolade, die mit Wasser angemacht war, mussten wir bezahlen.

We stayed in Room 2. We were not expecting what we saw the minute we opened the door. High ceilings, comfortable bed, huge bathroom. The bathrobes were a little treat.

We did love the room and could not fault it only for the lack of body wash/ soap. There was no shelf either in the shower to put body/shampoo/conditioner wash on.

Boyne House was a lovely discovery - a wonderfully restored property offering spacious, comfortable rooms in a miniature mature park where the birds sang and through traffic couldn't be heard.

A little difficult to find without awareness of the key pick-up from the nearby Conyngham Arms.

Location was excellent, although I think more visible signage from the main road would help with initial location. We did not receive instructions about checking in via email, so we took a little time to work this out. Apart from that, it's a lovely place to stay. All in all, we really enjoyed it and would visit again without hesitation.

What a gem! I actually thought the hotel was on the castle grounds for some reason, but this worked out just as well as the greenery around the hotel was beautiful. Very quiet, clean, friendly staff at check-in and breakfast across the road. The restaurant Inside Out was just next door and it was fantastic. I came for the Viking Festival and the location was perfect. Great value for money as well.

I was happy with everything. One thing I forgot to tell reception was the the lock on our door was a bit tricky with the key, it stuck a few times.

Room was very good. Well presented with everything you need. Breakfast was also very good, although service to take order was slow.

Check in procedure was a farce. A gated property, but no one answered the call button or phone call for 20 mins. Once inside, you then need to pick up room key from a sister hotel. Not ideal in heavy rain. It would be really useful to inform guests of this in advance, and give details of codes by email. Such a shame as the accommodation is very good, but overall experience soured by the first impression.

Clean and spacious, breakfast was quite good.

Checking in had to be done at a different building. No information was provided about it, nobody was waiting for us at the property, the gate bell wasn't answered. When I called the property in the afternoon to arrange our arrival there was no answer, calls at arrival weren't answered either. Luckily another guests drove in after a while and told us how to proceed.

They were lucky we left voluntarily at checkout 💛 Fantastic room and great food.

Check in at the hotel was a bit awkward with parking and crossing the very busy street.

The facilities were fantastic. The shower and bathroom were the highlight. Tall ceilings and luxury decor. The bed was very comfortable. Extremely quiet location.

The only negative was the breakfast because the chef had broken down and wasn't in to serve any hot food

It’s very secluded and quiet. Great proximity to The Conyngham Arms and the period features and grounds are beautiful.

There were just 2 minor issues in that the bathroom didn’t drain very well after the shower and the duvet cover was either too big for the duvet or in the wrong way, so I just had a thin sheet on my side. Otherwise it’s great.

It was convenient for catching up with friends.

The shower drain was blocked thus flooding the bathroom floor leaking out onto the bedroom. Told the receptionist in the morning she looked blanked! Black damp marks around window in the bathroom.
