Joyce was extremely helpful. Exceptional service. Fantastic for a business traveller as well as leisure.

The spa treatments and steam room were fabulous! The lovely decor and open private spaces with pools,and jacuzzis, stunning gardens.

Being there for only 1 night. Shoild have booked 1 more.

Breakfast was very good , adequate and presented well with excellent service and attention. The location was good, just off the highway and easily accessible from the airport and city.

The Kitchen closes at 20h00 which is early for late arrivals but understood and am sure you can arrange a meal in advance.

Spacious and classy! Gorgeous views. Many different rooms available, so ideal for groups of friends/couples. Safe parking.

The door to the suite is glass, covered by a light fabric. It lets light through at night from tge gardrn lighting which is disturbing for sound sleeping.

The breakfast was good, but it lacks variety, it was the same options every morning. I did enjoy the nightly jacuzzis, we loved this part and the steam room available as part of our stay. We enjoyed the free promotional massage and dinner!

I paid R450 for a romantic turn down as this was our honeymoon, from what I saw on Instagram was what I kind of expected and I thought it would be throughout the 3 night stay but it was only for the first initial walk in when we checked in. I felt a little disappointed in what I got for R450 so I didn’t feel the value for money in that regard, I think I expected way to much with that specifically.

If you looking for a place to relax and unwind, the Thyme Wellness Spa and Guesthouse is the perfect place! The beds are super comfortable, the staff are great, and the food is excellent and well priced!

The only thing I did not like is that the main road is so close that you can constantly hear the cars, but if you are in the room and the windows are closed, it is not so bad. (Closed windows are not really a problem since the rooms have air conditioning)

I loved how there wasn't much people and I loved how fast they fixed my problems and how friendly the staff was.

Everything was there I just wished they offered toothpaste because we weren't informed so we weren't prepared and the tissues weren't refilled but other than that everything was perfect as it was my first time being in a hotel.

I had booked 4 rooms over Booking.com and when we got there the two double rooms were very small and inadaequate. During teh booking there was def no mention of the double rooms being so under par and there was no significant price difference to justify that

We specifically contacted the place in Nov last year before we booked to enquire if they catered for gluten and lactose intolerances. When they said yes, we booked based on their reply. However, when we got there, we were not catered for and they were not prepared for our dietary needs and food intolerances. The manager was unkind about it at first but later realized that it may be to her detriment as we had enquired before. She quickly changed her attitude. The best part was that other guests ate the gluten and lactose free products that she eventually bought, clearly indicating that there is a need to accommodate such dietary needs. People think that intolerances are a personal/ vain preference and don’t take it seriously. We know of people who were seriously ill or had a fatality through negligence. It must be taken seriously. They were given ample notice and we would have appreciated record keeping and accommodation. Otherwise everything else was good and most staff were pleasant and kind. We would book here again; hopefully the review is taken to heart and the suggestions are applied.

The staff were attentive but not overbearing. The place was not overbooked so it was really peaceful and relaxing.

We booked the honeymoon suite but not sure that's what we got. Nothing about it spoke to anything honeymoon. No special honeymoon touches. Just looked like a well presented room for any guest on any given day.

Access for people who strugge to walk hs a bit of struggles, especially going to the dining hall. However, the employees tried to improvise and the slope of the yard is ascending, therefore there isn't much they can do.

At first when l told them that l will land at 22:50 guest house wanted to charge me R250 for late check in l had to explain that if they do that l will rate them bad on booking.com that when they changed after hearing ratings

Frühstück war praktisch nur Eier und ich hasse Eier. Zimmer war schmutzig, eng, hat nach Zigaretten gerochen, Lüften geht nicht, weil direkt an der Autobahn. Es gab nur eine Kofferablage, das reicht halt nur für Einzelreisende, auf Anfrage gab es keine zweite Kofferablage. Warum waren da Küchenschränke im Zimmer? Sah danach aus, als wäre es mal ein Therapieraum gewesen. Dann musste ich auch noch zwischendurch das Zimmer wechseln und habe dadurch Stunden verloren. Das andere Zimmer hatte keine Türe zur Toilette. Whirlpool darf man erst nah 18 Uhr benutzen und muss es vorher anmelden und auch nur für 30 Minuten, zu Zeiten, wo man halt normalerweise essen geht. Zimmer sind auch hellhörig (konnte meine Nachbarn bis 24 Uhr hören)

Loved the rooms and how spacious they were. It was very clean. The Host provided a Whatsapp number to contact prior arrival. Breakfast was also suitable and to our liking.

The first night we arrived, we were taken to a room we did not book which did not reflect the standard expected. We went to reception and they sorted it out.
