Il fatto che il ristorante della struttura fosse chiuso - pare sia molto buono e in zona non ci cono grandi alternative. Comunicherei prima cosa portano a colazione a tavola già preparato onde evitare di far preparare loro cose che poi non si mangiano (e.g. hanno portato 3/4 portate diverse a colazione ma noi eravamo sazi e ad esempio il mio fidanzato non mangia uova per cui è stato un peccato rimandarle indietro)

De ligging langs de hoofdstraat, al hebben we geen hinder gehad van lawaai.

Auf diesem "Flur" sind 3 Zimmer miteinander verbunden,aber jedes hat eine eigene Terrasse vor der Tür. Swimmingpool und Liegen vorhanden. Frühstück war sehr ansprechend, ausreichend und lecker. Schade, dass das Restaurant geschlossen war bei unserem Aufenthalt.

Reviewed Mar 14, 2026Alles war perfekt, nette kleine Zimmer, schön eingerichtet und komfortabel. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und brachte sogar Wassermelone an den Pool. Pool ist klein, aber reicht für eine Abkühlung. Das Frühstück war soo unglaublich lecker, egal welche Option(mein Mann hat allerdings Wurst oder Bacon vermisst). Jeder bekommt vorweg noch zusätzlich einen Obstsalat und kann dann aus 4 Optionen wählen. Saft gibt es zusätzlich sowie Kaffee/Tee. Danke an April. Wir würden wieder kommen. In der Straße gibt es einige Restaurants, sehr zu empfehlen ist das Christelle's Bistro.
Schade, dass das Restaurant abends nicht häufiger geöffnet hat, wir hätten wirklich gerne dort gegessen.

I guess due the age there was a musty smell in the room. There was no aircon but a fan was provided and we opened the window.

Was für eine wunderschöne Kulisse, kombiniert mit wundervollem Essen! Alles wurde mit so viel Herzblut vorbereitet. Zudem ist das La Sosta sehr zu empfehlen – schöne Zimmer, leckeres Frühstück und ein tolles Team machen den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm. Falls wir wieder in Swellendam sind, dann zu 100 % im La Sosta. Vielen Dank!

On a value for money basis, it exceeded our expectations and I would recommend it. The pool is great and staff always around to help. The breakfast was tasty too!

Wir haben tagsüber ein wunderschönes Café die Straße runter besucht und dabei auch eine beeindruckende Kirche besichtigt. Danach haben wir uns an den schönen, recht großen Pool von La Sosta begeben. Die Atmosphäre war angenehm ruhig und es gab verschiedene Sitzgelegenheiten. Die Zimmer und Bäder waren klein, aber boten alles, was man brauchte. Das Frühstück war außerordentlich lecker und sehr liebevoll zubereitet.

Sehr kleines Badezimmer mit Fenster in den Innenhof, recht hellhörig. Für den Preis hätten wir uns gewünscht, dass wir uns beim Frühstück zwei Speisen aussuchen dürften. Beim nächsten Mal würden wir für das Restaurant nochmal kommen, aber eine Unterkunft auf der anderen Seite von Swellendam buchen, da dort mehr los ist.

Reviewed Dec 26, 2025Zimmer groß, sauber, komfortabel. Sehr nettes Personal. Swellendam hat nicht viel zu bieten, ausser einige leckere Restaurants wie z.B. Koornsland. Als Durchreiseherberge oder zur abgeschiedene Erholung mit seinem sehr gepflegten Außenbereich sehr zu empfehlen.
Internetzugang hätte etwas besser sein können. Leider war das eigene Restaurant geschlossen. Frühstück war speziell. Man musste am Vortag mitteilen was man von den 5 vorgeschlagenen Teller haben möchte und hat nur dies erhalten, nicht mal ein kleines Buffet. Frühstück war sehr lecker, halt eben nur diesen einen Teller.
