Very conveniently located. Pretty well maintained gardens. The house was very complete everything you need is there. Very clean. Staff friendly and helpful.

Liked the outside area with the pool and the boma. It was really peacful to sit there and listen to the birds.

The staff were very attentive and welcoming. The hotel was in a good area of Swellendam and easy to get to the nature reserve from here. We would be happy to stay again!

The rooms could do with a heater, but the mattress heater helped.

All good and as expected. Superb fine dining restaurant (La Sosta) just a few minutes walk away (but you'll normally need to reserve in advance), and breakfast at Tredici is also something to remember! We stayed at Swellendam to visit the beautiful Bontebok National Park and The Hoop Nature Reserve, and to explore the surrounding. In case you want to go there via Malgas always check in advance if the ferry is operating - it isn't always, we learned the hard way...

Es war ein sehr angenehmer und schöner Aufenthalt dort. Die Besitzerin und auch das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend.

Einzig der Mülleimer im Bad war nicht gelehrt, aber das hat die Atmosphäre nicht gestört.

Locatie

Geen persoonlijke ontvangst. Zeer verwarrende beschrijving en video over locatie kamer. Kennen Elianthe van vroeger en waren dit keer zeer ontgoocheld.

Good for an overnight stop.

Great accommodation! Our two rooms were very clean and well-equipped with bathroom essentials and kitchenware (plates/glasses). The host was lovely. We highly recommend this place and would definitely return!

Très bien situé, avec une belle piscine; nous avons particulièrement apprécié cet arrêt entre Franschhoek et la Garden Road. Nous avons ainsi pu visiter De Hoop Reserve.

We thought we had actually paid for breakfast but learned it would not be available. Our rooms were road facing and very hot despite the fan. A little disappointing thats all.

Location, staff and pool. Perfect position to visit Swellendams numerous good restaurants.

The rooms at the front can be a little noisy in the mornings with traffic. It was 40° on the day of our stay and the ceiling fan worked well, but it was a little warm at night, we had stayed in the room previously when temp was much less and it was perfect.

Wel gehorig voor verkeer maar dat werd helemaal gecompenseerd door de mooie kamer.

A very comfortable stay

The guesthouse is very well kept, my room (6) was spacious and clean with a nice rainfall shower. The gardens are lovely with a nice size pool. It is only a short 10 minute amble into the main town for shops and restaurants.

It's a shame that breakfast is not served although there are options close by.

Ligging was super! Host dame ook super vriendelijk. Het was denk ik een beetje hectisch. Er was geen warm water en andere gasten gingen compleet uit hun stekker wat de host behoorlijk raakte.

Alles, er ruime schone kamer. Koffie en thee faciliteiten. Een goede douche en een heerlijk breed bed. Wij zijn enorm hartelijk te woord gestaan. Heel vriendelijk personeel. We zijn hier maar 1 nacht geweest maar we kunnnen deze locatie echt aanraden

Stunning bedroom, nice and clean, staff contacted me on the day to make sure my check in process was smooth. I felt very welcome and looked after.

We only stayed one night as a stop over but this was a nice spot, very comfortable, clean and opposite a nice restaurant Christelle, the staff were very helpful and we’d recommend

Location is good with nearby restaurants (highly recommend Christelle’s Bistro). Overall decent stop to spent the night when you’re driving Garden Route to/from Cape Town.

The rooms have been modernised and are very clean and well kept. The secretion of toiletries in the bathroom and the chocolates on the pillows are nice finishing touches.

When we booked the property, one of the reasons was that it seemed one could order breakfast. On arrival, we were informed the breakfast is only available mid week, this could be made clearer.

Rooms are beautiful. Friendly personnel. Swimming pool. Central location. Everything was very clean. I loved the seats outside the rooms. We slept really well.

I could hear trucks in the middle of the night occasionally; but they did provide ear plugs. Ceiling fan was great, but Aircon would be better for the summer. They could sell or introduce details of breakfast. Book-in hours are very strict, but can make exceptions.

Lovely and spacious family room. Clean and comfortable, nice linen and towels. Pool was a good size with sunbeds. Lovely garden space to relax in. It was perfect for a night's stop. Shops were a short walk away.

No aircon and it is faces the main road, so traffic noise from open windows. But if a heavy sleeper not a problem.

Kommunikation vorab mit Lita war sehr freundlich und auch vor Ort war sie einfach nur herzlich. Zimmer war süß, hatte alles was man braucht, war sauber & hatte eine große Dusche.

Das Zimmer war sauber, die Dusche riesig & die Anlage sehr gepflegt. Lita war eine tolle Gastgeberin & sehr herzlich!

Établissement très agréable, avec un jardin bien entretenu et une belle piscine. Les chambres sont spacieuses avec un grand lit. Certaines tombent côté route, mais peu de circulation le soir. Beaucoup de restaurant se trouvent à proximité.

We liked the situation, very convenient for an overnight stay. Good car parking facilities.

A suggestion for all shower/bath rooms I have used - more shelf space by the hand basin. Where does one put a sponge bag? It usually ends up on the floor or on the toilet seat.
