Very handy location. Clean, tidy and warm. I would stay here again.
The location is right on the road, so Anzac day morning was a bit noisy with all the people moving around. The next day was quiet.
Close to town. Clean and tidy
Sometimes noisy early in morning as it’s right on the road
Leone and Peter were friendly and very helpful. Their property was comfortable, roomy and had all the essential amenities.
Nothing to mention. Everything was fine.
The most amazing location and gorgeous interior. Bedding super comfy.

Perfect little studio in keeping with this historic town. Within walking distance of everything.
The bed was super comfy and we had all the facilities we needed as far as a fridge, microwave etc. We enjoyed the little table and chairs outside to have a wine and the room was very clean. Our host was very friendly and helpful too.
Everything was great. The bathroom is very narrow and there’s not a heap of room in front of the toilet.
Great to see a historic building be restored so well and put to good use again. A credit to the owners. Really nice private setting and close to cafes etc.

Top marks for this snug, historic, well-appointed studio, incl electric blankets, A/C, dishwasher drawer & heated towel rails. A private deck area with outdoor furniture. Perfect location, 20 mins from Cromwell's gold mining and motor park attractions. Delightful historic town with many quaint and attractive buildings. Very friendly and welcoming hosts, Leone even picked us fresh plums from her tree. If you want the perfect hideaway this is the place
I could not fault this accommodation.
Such a gorgeous space. Really comfortable bed. Nice and private little courtyard area. Right at the top of town, easy walk to restaurants and supermarket and the Clutha river. Would stay again when in Clyde.
No bread knife. No smart tv. Nothing else, only small.
We'd been traveling all day from the bluff, ( a few stops in between) we were supposed to head to Queenstown, hubby had had enough driving so found this quaint little place last minute, it was cosy & clean, the hosts were helpful, had a enjoyable & relaxing night, don't get me started on the shower AMAZING 😀 & the bed, didn't want to get out😀
Loved it Was on the main road, so traffic in the morning, it didn't bother us
We loved the stylish, cosy ambience of this gorgeous little cottage. The location is perfect as you can walk to restaurants, pubs and trails easily. Also loved the friendly wee kitten 😸 10 out of 10 in all ways.
Nothing to dislike.
Beautiful furnishings, quaint and rustic but with modern necessities and little pleasures. The shower has great water pressure.
There was a hump in the middle of the mattress, and as the property sits right on the street front, it can be noisy. I had tourists trying to look into the front windows not realising it was a studio, but there are shutters to offer privacy. There was a sign but very very small. I found a small challenge in figuring out how to access the property.
Modern facilities and decorated to be in keeping with the period property. Very comfortable and owners welcoming. Great suntrap deck and only a couple of minutes walk to great restaurants, shops and sights.
Right in town so an easy walk to cafes and restaurants. Our main reason for staying was cycling so a great location for us.
Traffic noise early in the morning. But we were aware of this before booking.
Stunning accommodation in the middle of beautiful Clyde. Very well equipped for a little getaway
Nothing!
It was centrally located and close to a number of excellent eateries as well as being walking distance to 3 of the main bike hire stops.
The kitchenette was very small which made cooking extremely difficult. We ended up eating out during our stay. Although not a problem for me my husband usually uses the shampoo and conditioner available at each accommodation. In this case there was non supplied.
A fabulous little unit, very comfortable
Beautiful location, very clean and tidy, hosts were amazing, water pressure was incredible!
Only one thing, very small, no shampoo or conditioner.
Had everything we needed plus a small outdoor space, was within walking distance to everything. A place to safely store our bikes was also good.
A little bit road traffic noise later at night and very early in the morning.
Perfect location and lovely setting with own courtyard
Perfect, relaxing.
Great
Nothing
The property was very well furnished and designed We enjoyed our 3 night stay
Couldn’t fault anything other than the cutlery put could do with a few more tea spoons😁
Very tasteful decor
My husband stayed alone because I was unwell and thought the room was lovely. He couldn’t sleep on the second night due to something scraping loudly on the roof so he drove home to Dunedin in the wee small hours! He said the bed was very comfortable though and the room was well equipped.
Perhaps a wee check of branches or whatever was scraping loudly on the roof.
It was very neat and tidy, the bathroom was clean.
No
The building was a restored historic property. Everything was done in excellent taste keeping with the heritage of the area. But we had an induction cooktop instead of a wood fire which was a welcome touch of 21st century luxury. There are so many activities nearby it is difficult to choose the best. We did an 18km walk along the Clutha River almost to Alexandra. Do yourself a favour and spend a few days in this amazing place.
This is a small but beautifully appointed apartment in the middle of old Clyde. We loved our stay.
Nothing
Close to restaurants. Lovely little courtyard. Nice decor. Good location.
So small, not much room inside. Kitchen bench tiny. No freezer with the fridge. No wear to wash clothes or hang them up to dry. Traffic noise. Light coming into the room above the door at night time.
Really comfortable with a lovely outside seating area in the sun.
Everything really! Comfortable, spacious, modern fit out with lots of character, convenient location, nice little outdoor courtyard. Friendly hosts.
It is right on the road so, unsurprisingly, you can notice traffic noise
We loved this property so much. Right in the middle of Clyde, in fact, right on the footpath in a beautifully renovated timber cottage that we believe used to house the newspaper, the Dunstan times. So tastefully done, everything you could need for a comfortable stay inside the unit, with a bonus of a lovely little veranda out the back soaked in sunshine in the afternoons.
Nothing.
We loved our stay in the cottage, great location, clean, had everything we needed with loads of old world charm, and character but with all the modern facilities
How quaint it was and being part of the town history.
Nothing
DIDNT HAVE BREAKFAST
SHAME THERE WAS A COFFEE PLUNGER BUT ONLY INSTANT COFFEE
Rather hot and hard to get to sleep, also a little noisy beside the road.
Beautifully laid out and felt like home. Great location within easy walking distance of everything. The outdoor patio area was lovely to sit in the evening and read with a glass of wine.
Nothing
Good size. Clean and modern. Good off street parking
Lots of noise from street
Location excellent, such a beautiful little hot spot. Close to fabulous food places. Comfortable facilities. Accommodating host. Will definitely return.
Beautiful accommodation. Unique
Nothing not to like
The host and the place itself
Nothing
Great location, super comfortable beds and was lovely and clean.
Very well appointed, clean and tidy, and close to all the amenities
The cars passing at high speed early in the morning
The studio was well appointed, tastefully decorated and private.
The only downside was the closeness to the road. The traffic going by was loud when trying to sleep, but nothing a pair of earplugs couldn't fix!
Beautiful equipped studio. cosy and comfortable. spotless.
Road noise and loud Music close by.
Exceptional furnishings. Lovely bed and warm bedding
Fridge was dysfunctional toilet flush was dysfunctional. 2 serviettes????? Towels too small
Road noise
Just what i wanted
nothing
Enjoyed the coziness of the room, decor and location.
suggest inclusion of some herbal tea sachets as priced same as 5 star hotel room, where include them as complementary.
Well located attractive property right in town. Easy to walk to restaurants. The bike trail nearby is great & there are several options for bike rental. Very clean & charming unit with lovely courtyard. Owner is easy to communicate with and not intrusive. Price very reasonable. Great for a couple
There is a coffee plunger but no ground coffee. Get to the supermarket to buy your coffee for breakfast.
it was tastefully decorated and had everything needed eg hand wash etc
Everything we needed and nicely appointed. Property included a well equipped kitchenette with dishwasher plus a private deck with table & chairs and outside sofa.
Early morning traffic noise (not a reflection of the property itself but just be aware that you will hear traffic)
A short stroll to the cafes and restaurants in Clyde. The property was gorgeous and the garden, amazing!
Had every thing you needed - bed was comfortable.
bathroom is as a little tight, but well designed foe the space available
This accomodation is a wee hidden gem! Was such a lovely surprise. Heritage building revamped into a stylish wee character studio. I loved a wee deck outside with the table, chairs and couch. Was amazing to sit outside with a breakfast and a cuppa. Everything was comfortable - bed, linen, towels etc. Location is amazing - walking distance to everything in Clyde. The host was also very friendly communicating through text to ensure we knew how to checkin etc.
Dunstan Times is an exceptional property. Comfortable, beautifully decorated, and central to everything in Clyde. Can highly recommend.
