Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Posizione perfetta e molto centrale.** Il sabato sera, proprio davanti alla struttura, si tiene il mercato, una posizione davvero comoda per vivere la zona. La signora che gestisce la struttura non parla inglese, ma siamo riusciti comunque a comunicare senza problemi utilizzando il traduttore. Avevamo prenotato **due camere triple e una doppia**. La camera tripla al piano inferiore è organizzata su due livelli; lo spazio è un po’ sacrificato, per cui è necessario tenere l’aria condizionata accesa anche durante la notte. La doppia. invece, è molto buona: gli spazi sono adeguati e il bagno con doccia è comodo. La camera tripla al piano superiore è davvero molto grande, dispone di tre letti matrimoniali, un ampio soggiorno e un bagno con doccia, tutto molto spazioso e confortevole. Abbiamo apprezzato molto anche il **rifornimento quotidiano di acqua**, un’attenzione semplice ma davvero gradita. Per girare i templi abbiamo noleggiato delle bici che si trovano a 600 mt dalla struttura. Nel complesso, una struttura molto comoda per la posizione e con camere di dimensioni diverse, alcune davvero molto spaziose. La struttura è in legno ed è molto pulita, scarpe fuori!
Colazione: non è a buffet. Al mattino viene consegnato un foglio sul quale bisogna indicare con una crocetta ciò che si desidera ordinare. Sono disponibili uova, toast, waffle e bevande calde. Per chi cerca una colazione più internazionale o un buffet salato, la scelta è piuttosto limitata. Tra le proposte tipicamente orientali abbiamo trovato principalmente la zuppa con pollo. Reviewed Aug 25, 2026El personal muy amable, nos dejaron hacer check a las 11 de la mañana y ningún problema. La ubicación es buena, está cerca de la Clock Tower y el mercado nocturno de Chiang Rai, a los que se puede ir andando en 10 minutos.
El baño es privado pero está fuera de la habitación, lo cual es incómodo. Lo peor de todo fue dormir, entra mucha luz y sobre todo, hay mucho ruido tanto de la calle como de la electricidad del propio edificio. Si tienes sueño profundo no hay problema, pero si tienes sueño ligero, puede que duermas poco.

La stanza era come descritta sul sito e la colazione buona! La signora che gestisce il posto non parla inglese, ma è gentilissima e molto disponibile! Partivamo la sera e ci hanno tenuto gli zaini per tutto il pomeriggio. Soggiorno top!

Reviewed May 6, 2026A calm oasis in the middle of Chiang Rai, the room was cosy and lovely and had a smart TV which was a bonus, the breakfast was tasty and the staff were very friendly. We loved the space outside the property and sat there with coffees/dinners most evenings. A short walk from the main town and a 7/11 and easy to get taxis to all the tourist hotspots

Imposible dormir por la cantidad de ruido a la noche, el hotel está en una esquina muy llena de árboles. Plantas. A la noche parecía que estábamos en una jungla niveles extremos . Si te da igual ese tipo de ruido, la relación precio-calidad va perfecto . Pero para nosotros que era solo una noche para seguir viaje. No pudimos dormir nada . El colchón también muy duro.

El baño al igual amplio y tiene una separación que a diferencia de otros hospedajes en los que estuvimos no se pasaba el agua. Me pareció un lugar central entre el la parte céntrica, el terminar de buses y el aeropuerto y en una zona tranquila y segura. Cerca hay bares y restaurantes y los 7/11 igual están cerca.

We chose Suantung on the basis it was close to the Saturday Night Market on the evening we arrived and it was right outside the front door! The room was huge and offered everything we needed. Breakfast was good but not that big but this wasn't really an issue as it meant we had room for some of the incredible street food in the city! We would definitely stay at Suantung again if in Chiang Rai. Coming from Scotland we couldn't believe the value for money it offered and it was central to everything.
We have a very firm mattress at home but the one here was particularly hard so it may not be to everyone's liking.

Estaba a unos 7min caminando de donde está toda la vida de Chiang Rai, suficientemente cerca pero apartado del barullo. Además, hacen un mercado en la calle de alado :)

Reviewed Feb 23, 2026Nos encantó este alojamiento. Camas cómodas, buena limpieza, la ubicación perfecta en el centro de Chian Rai, muy cerca de la rotonda del reloj. La habitación era super agradable. Nos dieron una enorme en la que teníamos la zona de las camas, y a la vez una zona super amplia de salón/comedor y el baño aparte. No nos esperábamos contar con esa zona, que parecía que estábamos casi más bien en un apartamento (pero sin cocina). Tambien había un balcón super grande. La zona donde estaba era muy agradable y tranquila y el entorno del hotel era super bonito. Una pena que solo pasáramos ahí una noche, porque nos encantó.
El baño era amplio y estaba limpio, pero tenía la típica ducha integrada tailandesa y sin cortina de ducha, con lo cual tenías que tener cuidado para no mojar demasiado el baño, pero con algo de cuidado no era demasiado problema. El desayuno creo que podrían mejorarlo.
