Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’accueil chaleureux, le confort des chambres, le calme du lieu et l’emplacement au sein d’un petit temple, c’est vraiment très joli et typique

Literie très confortable et jardin piscine très beau nous sommes partis tôt le matin l hôtel nous avez prépare a emporter bon emplacement et très calme pour ce que nous voulons visiter on a trouvé des taxis tout le temps

Pour un court séjour ça passe pas de restaurant sur place mais a proximité sympa. Pas trop de contact avec les hôtes dommage un minimum de confort mais pour nous ça suffisait

Che non riguarda la struttura, non essendoci mai arrivata Però la cosa ositiva che i proprietari si sono interessati alla mia situazione ,ma non hanno potuto risolverla. Gentilezza ed interesse

Io non sono mai arrivata alla Guesthouse , percui non posso dare giudizi sulla struttura Però la cosa *negativissima* è che ho avuto un serio problema il giorno in cui sarei dovuta arrivare, nn avevo internet...e non ho fatto il soggiorno nella struttura Ma la somma mi è stata addebitata. .In seguito ho spiegato la situazione , anche ai proprietari , che minhanno detto impossibile risolvere per loro ( Ma AVRANNO RICEVUTO PAGAMENTO?) In seguito, ho scritto altra mail, dopo qualche giorno a Booking , ma l' indirizzo risulta non riuscito ( anche se l' ho trovato sul portale) e quindi ho perso , per ora , la somma versata . Spero di recuperare il denaro in qualche modo. Percui l' esperienza è stata negativa , per me. Aspetto riscotri per risolvere , ancora sono speranzosa Maria Concetta di Benedetto

Ontzettend rustige en mooie plek buiten het centrum. Ideaal om goed tot rust te komen. Optie tot een scooter te huren en zo ben je snel in het centrum. Het is echt een klein pareltje met een lekker zwembad en ontzettend lieve mensen.

Everything was great! Swimming pool is really nice! We actually loved the location, it’s just 15–20 minutes by motorbike from central Ubud, in a very peaceful and quiet area. Yet you can still walk to great nearby restaurants, a gym, and even waterfalls. The family is wonderful, and the owner’s son makes a delicious breakfast every morning. Thank you for having us!

Only small thing, sometimes a rooster starts around 5 a.m., so if you’re a light sleeper, keep that in mind.

J ai aimé le jardin intérieur, le calme et sa piscine qui est propre. La chambre est très correcte, eau chaude haut debit. Literie propre et confortable....mais rien d exceptionnel alors quand le lis les excellentissimes commentaires, je suis surpris. 17 euros avec réduction basse saison. ..pas d eau minérale, pas de cafetière, pas de quoi se faire une boisson chaude ici. Alors pour 14 euros nous avons trouvé pas loin dutout la perle, qui a descendu son prix de 35 à 14 pour la basse saison. Réfrigérateur, cafetière, tv ecran plat , baignoire en Indonésie, mobilier de rangement meme jardin, meme piscine meme quartier meme calme voir plus, car pas de chantier en cours dans le Guest house.

Je l ai écris, peut être réaliser qu il manque certains détails qui font la différence, avec la concurrence qui divise son prix en deux pour la basse saison Le petit déjeuner, une tartine pas deux comme partout ailleurs, on ne choisit pas, vous aurez l oeuf brouillé , le fruit, une pomme sortie du réfrigérateur, farineuse, et abîmée, alors qu il y a tellement de fruits frais autour ? Bref, surpris de l excellent retour fait par certains clients

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. In der Nähe gab es einige sehr gute Restaurants. Der Pool war schön, allerdings etwas wenig Liegemöglichkeiten bzw. keine Ausweichmöglichkeiten der Liegen. Frühstück war in Ordnung und das Personal außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten einen Platten mit unserem Roller und sie telefonierten mit der Werkstatt und erklärten das Problem.

Le personnel est adorable, la piscine est très agréable avec la chaleur d’ubud. Niveau emplacement c’est excentrer du centre mais facile d’accès et donc plutôt calme. Il y a de quoi manger autour.

Wirklich tolle, saubere Unterkunft etwas außerhalb des Trubels von Ubud. Der Sohn der Gastgeberin hat wirklich tolles Frühstück gemacht, generell waren alle sehr bemüht. Die Katzen haben sich beim Frühstück gern dazu gesellt. Tolle Zimmer. Gepflegter Pool. Sehr gerne wieder!

Die Lage ist weit weg (40 Minuten mit dem Auto) von Ubuds Attraktionen.

I had such a lovely stay at Werkudara Hotel in Bali. The host was truly welcoming and made me feel right at home. Breakfast was sedap and the whole experience felt cozy and memorable. Definitely a place worth coming back to!

The owner and the place were SPECTACULAR. It was spotless, not only the room, but the entire place. The breakfast was very good, you can also rent a bike there (very good price) and it’s close to many places to visit, eat and shop. To sum up, we highly recommend this place to every single person traveling to Ubud since it has absolutely everything.

The best place we’ve stayed in Bali, one of the best places I’ve EVER stayed. The family who run this place are lovely and will go out of their way to help you out. The free breakfast is great, the rooms are comfortable and clean (with AC), the pool is glorious. It is SO nice to be out of the craziness of Ubud, but there is still lots to do within walking distance (nice restaurants and waterfalls too)! Do yourself a favour and stay here! We extended and wish we could have extended more…

The walls are a little bit thin so if people are loud outside you can hear it, but otherwise it is super quiet and we LOVED staying here.

Abbiamo alloggiato nella villa che è ancora più bella rispetto alle foto. Piccola piscina privata rinfrescante, letti comodi, ampio bagno. Personale gentile, numerosi ristoranti e caffetterie a 2 minuti a piedi. Lontano dal caos e dal traffico. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. In generale siamo contenti.

Purtroppo i vicini bruciano la spazzatura e soprattutto la plastica durante il giorno e la notte, per cui l'odore può dare fastidio. Se avete paura dei gatti, il posto non fa per voi. Se avete il sonno leggero, munitevi di tappi alle orecchie: i galli cantano in continuazione e da un paio di giorni i proprietari hanno un cucciolo di cane che abbaia o meglio ulula in continuazione. La colazione è veramente scarsissima, potrebbe non esserci!

I just can't help but extend everytime! It's so peaceful and I feel so listened, helped, welcomed. Mangku the owner loves babies and we had such a good time there ! Excellent wifi, quiet, peaceful, near restaurants shops and coffees. If you have the opportunity, don't miss the chance to go there.

It's been already a couple of times I come back there and everything is perfect; the family is so amazing, kind and funny! The room is comfortable and spacious, hot water, excellent wifi (I could work with online class around 5 to 10 people at the same time with no issue ! Good spot for nomad digital and online workers). It's in a quiet and lightful place, near Ubud. I highly recommend this place!

Sandi and his family are the best. Super friendly people that is open to help with everything. We loved having a pool in Ubud, it was necessary for the hot days.

I had a wonderful stay at Werkudara Homestay. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful — perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help with anything I needed, which made me feel right at home. The accommodation was spotless and well-maintained, showing real care and attention to detail. The pool was a real highlight — cool, clean, and the ideal spot to chill out after a day exploring. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a laid-back, comfortable place to stay. Mr G Warung just around the corner has some phenomenal food at local prices.

The owners were exceptionally helpful and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with them and intend to return soon. Cannot recommend more highly if you like a simple home stay vibe.

We loved our stay at this guest house! Wonderful people ready to help or just chat every now and then, making us feel right at home. Helpful but completely unintrusive. Lovely room, very clean, great pool for cooling off right out the door.

Breakfast wasn't entirely to our liking. Pancakes and french toast were covered in too sweet syrup. Though I'm positive they wouldn't hesitate to change this for you if you'd ask!

I love this place, I only stayed for 2 nights but I definitely would have stayed for longer if I could have. The owners, Sandi and Mangku, are so welcoming. We had some lovely chats and they very kindly invited me to a Balinese ceremony as well ♥️ The rooms are clean, it’s very relaxing and peaceful, the garden is heavenly. Breakfast was yummy, I had french toast and pancakes, with fresh fruit. I have a bike so it’s easy for me to get around, but I’m sure it’s also easy enough to get Gojeks and Grabs. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay 🥰

The checkin was really smooth, the hosts personally showed us the property. They were very helpful, comforting. The villa we stayed in was a total value for money. It was beautifully built with care for detail. Very pleasant and peaceful stay, and the private pool a cherry on cake. With Ubud main street not more than 30 mins and a lot of waterfalls near by makes this property a must visit. The host made us drink a local Balinese drink called Arak, but make sure it’s legit otherwise can be harmful as well (You can die as well) Also for food near a lot of nearby cafes to try on. Spent 5 days here and had such an amazing time stay , the area about 25 mins taxi from Ubud centre is a whole world away , peaceful, tranquil , stunning little village with amazing food places and coffee shops, the accommodation is clean and comfortable and the breakfast every morning was great, lovely family that runs it all so Helpful and friendly!! If I ever come back to Bali I will be staying here again 100%.

The location was quiet and relaxed, but still had plenty of nice cafes and restaurants nearby. It's about 20 minutes from Ubud centre in a grab. The hosts were so friendly and made us feel at home. The breakfast was amazing, something different everyday along with fresh fruit and tea and coffee. The room was clean and comfortable. I loved the pool, it was nice to have a dip every afternoon to cool down. I would highly recommend and would stay again.

We really loved our stay here. Beautiful room that was at a very good price. No mosquitos in the room, which was uncommon during our Bali trip :) The hosts are wonderful people and super helpful. You can rent a bike when you get there. We enjoyed it a lot!

Our stay at Werkudara Guesthouse in Ubud was nothing short of magical.The guesthouse itself is a sanctuary. The architecture reflects the traditional Balinese style. The space is open and inviting, allowing the energy of the lush surroundings to flow through. We felt instantly at home. The pool is absolutely stunning, surrounded by tropical plants, and offering a perfect spot for quiet reflection or simply soaking in the natural beauty of the area.

Such a lovely, friendly and welcoming family. This is the perfect place to stay to relax in a quieter area not as busy as Ubud centre.Walking distance to waterfalls. Nice swimming pool good breakfast each morning included. highly recommend.

Second time back here no regrets, definitely still the best guest house in Bali !! We were even lucky again with their cute kittens 🐱. Comfort is a 10/10 you feel the heart that they put into the rooms. I missed it so much !! Every day a new breakfast made with love and we really missed the pool!! Only regret that we didn’t stayed longer! If we can make it we see you next year !!

Great family which owns this place. They were super friendly and helpful. We got a lot of tips and help with things e.g. laundry, massage. They have their own page (Werkudsra tours) were you can book and pay online for massage (in your room) or trips e.g. Batur hike. Calm and quite localisation and easy access to center ubud via taxi.

Everything was just perfect. The owners were so sweet & helpful, the room was perfect, and super clean & cooling pool, and quiet, yummy breakfast. Perfect location just outside from busy Ubud center, but near you have amazing local cafes & restaurants where you can walk easily. You can also rent a scooter at the property, do laundry, and refill your water. It was just amazing! Recommend booking this place to enjoy real Bali life 🙏 and of course, it is perfect location if you want to do tourist things as well. Near you have 2 beautiful waterfalls. The facility is perfect, very well maintained yard, lots of plants, the pool is clean (we swam every night), the apartments are clean and the bed was very, very comfortable. The owners are very relaxed and cheerful, the breakfast was always fresh and warm. I am very satisfied with my stay on the island of Bali and with the house of these hosts. Mangku and Sandi are such great and welcoming hosts ! They are always there for you and make you feel like you are at home. The rooms are nice and very clean. There is a beautiful pool to help you cool off after a long day. The breakfast is delicious, there is refill for your water and there are plenty of activities proposed by the hosts in the area. Also, the Guest House is very close from two amazing waterfalls (you can go there by foot). I totally recommend this place, which I will return to without hesitation !!!

The breakfast might be too simple (just rice), a bit more variety would be nice. The noise from the roosters in the morning is very disturbing, but otherwise, everything else is perfect.

Sandi and Mangku are wonderful people who seem to know exactly what their guests need and how to provide it. They share their wealth of local knowledge and culture generously and are great to talk with. Mangku’s breakfasts are delicious! The rooms are sparkling clean, the AC is quiet and works perfectly, the wifi is reliably good and the walls between rooms are solid brick so there’s virtually no neighbour noise. The pool is crystal clear, refreshing & cool and the little garden is lovely. Easy walking distance to two local waterfalls, and I recommend the coffee at Nulana Cafe on the main road and Ning’s Eatery just around the corner. Kemenuh is a lovely community and Werkudara is a gem.

We had three great days with our most lovely hosts. They make you feel welcome from the start till the end. The beds were super large and comfortable and the rooms properly dark so we slept till after breakfast time twice, and still got our breakfast ;-) It was really special living on the property of this family, along with three generations living on the same property, yet you have all the privacy you want. Around the corner was My G Warung, a very good and reasonably priced restaurant with high quality local food. Not to forget the pool, which was a great joy for the kids and a nice place to chill. Over all a superb place for a reasonable price.

Very comfortable. Beautiful space to live in. The owners were just lovely. Highly recommend for a simple relaxing time and also a great place to do day trips from. The waterfall was amazing and only a short walk away.

Just out of main Ubud, about 6 KMs. Parking for bikes,I had car so parked on road outside on grass verge. Car was safe enough.

Mangku and Sandi were awesome - creating a great friendly vibe in the place and helping me out after a difficult journey there - could not have been more helpful. The location is great - away from the busyness of Ubud, in nature, close to rice paddies and waterfalls (but shops and restaurants nearby). The guesthouse garden is a peaceful sanctuary with butterflies, fish, and playful cats. It has an infinity pool/jacuzzi, lovely to dip in after a hot day. Breakfast was always great! And drinking water available if needed. It’s a guesthouse not a resort, so ideal if you want to explore a bit and use this place as a base rather than stay there all day.
