Booked the room which was very large and so clean. Plus an additional large lounge to set up camping cots etc. Beautifully decorated with a queen bed and 2 3/4 beds. Tea, coffee, milk, etc all set out. Easy access just 2min off the N1. Lovely farm surroundings. Extremely safe and quiet. Amazing friendly and kind hearted hosts welcome you as you arrive. Great to see people actually care about their guests. Best hospitality. Absolutely a gem and an amazing place to stop over. The beds were very comfortable. Great food and best value for money all round. Definitely recommended to single travellers to large families.

The accommodation was rustic but comfortable. The host was very friendly and cooked us the most delicious lamb chops 😋

The old-fashioned way the bed was made with lower and upper sheets folded tightly and warm comfy blankets. The first place I ever stayed where a chef offered to make anything I wanted.

Close to the highway so a great quick stop over on your way between JHB and the coast. The host made amazing burgers when we arrived, which was well worth it. Rooms very spacious and pet friendly. Bedroom clean and comfortable.

The bathroom had a bit of maintenance issues that need sorting to make it a little more comfortable (like the shower leaked so the whole bathroom floor got wet). But it was functional. WiFi very slow.

Nothing, it was an exercise in survival.

The wifi wasn't working, SA playing in the world cup, so we missed it. The caretaker said it hadn't worked for a while. Wall paper on the toilet door all ripped. No milk. The adjacent properties were derelict

The place looks deserted. It's hard to believe you have reached the place upon being there. There's a need for enclosure even though they claim that it's a very safe environment. The situation was not comfortable at all for all of us and we were disadvantaged by the fact we have paid.

Surroundings could be better maintained , did not feel safe at night with no perimeter fence . Had to wait long time for key to our room. Loose taps and no markings indicating hot/cold water. Could do with covered parking to load /offload baggage in rainy conditions.

I had the unfortunate experience of having to suffer through an evening of loud voices, guitar and on going drumming from a party 3 doors away, where the host was present. This continued till about 2.00 am. Even after having requested twice to stop. The room and shower are very basic, with the bathroom ceiling in need of a paint and the bathroom door looking in a bit of a sorry state.

They must just include a heater in the room Colesberg is very cold

Absolutely horrible Accomodation in a terrible location. Moldy walls, smells bad, half dilapidated building. Does not look like the photos at all, very misleading. It looks run down. It boarders abandoned buildings and an informal settlement with multiple people walking through and past. No sense of security at all. Very uncomfortable. Had to leave and book another accommodation

Great, easy stay for a long trip, exactly what I needed for my long journey.

Found the host to be quite arrogant

We were only able to leave Cape Town in the late afternoon due to an emergency, which meant we could only arrive at Little Farms after 12am. Rufus was very accommodating and they even left the lights on so that we didn't have to arrive in the dark. The room was perfect for what we needed, super clean and we rested well! Thanks Rufus & little Farms Team!

We got to the property and we were told that we booked the wrong place, however, we called the owner and his phone rang in front of us but he denied that it was him. He even swore at us with his friends that he was drinking with. We arrived at 12am and had driven for about 900km and ended up sleeping in the car at the nearest garage.

The fact that they are pet friendly. The place was clean. Rufus is very friendly and his steak is out of this world! It was delicious!

There is no table and chairs to sit inside to put any of your stuff on or to sit at a table and have dinner or something to eat! They can remove the baby table and chairs and put a decent table and chairs inside. The basin in the bathroom is very small and so low! More equipped for small children. Also nothing in the bathroom to put your vanity on. Very uncomfortable for pensioners! The shower is leaking a lot of water - had to throw 2 towels because there was a lot of water.

Meal was great.

Linnen far too narrow for matress. Blanket very thin. No extra doible bed blankets for cold weather. No electric blanket or heayer - room was cold. Shower leaks. No table to put suitcases on. No chairs to sit on.

Conveniently located close to the highway, this was the perfect little stopover in Colesberg while traveling. Great value for money and very friendly reception.

It was easy to find after a long drive from JHB, it is also far enough from the main road to be quiet and a perfect 1 night stopover

The bed mattress was ok. Firm and in good condition.

The bedding blankets look grubby and old. The duvet was fine but the blankets need a update. The shower has mould and is grubby. The ceiling had mould. The shower head is handheld and useless for taking a shower. The bathroom door wall paper is hanging loose. Looks grubby as well. The towels are old and very hard. They are harsh on your skin for drying.There is no place to put your dirty dishes or even a cloth to wipe up spills if your making coffee. You have to get water for the kettle in the toilet area basin which is so small its hard to fill. The WiFi does not work. The outer building needs care and paint. There is only one outlet to charge your phone..needs more 2 point plugs.

It was a cold night and I struggled a little to keep warm despite blankets etc. available. It's a little outside town if you don't have a car.

Very friendly staff. Clean, neat, cozy, everything you need for an overnight stay while traveling. Fun area for kids to play after a long drive. Food was excellent.

The stay was awesome. The host is very friendly and welcoming. I had a good time chilling and chatting with the host and other guests. It was a great night. The food was tasty too and great value for the money. The place is children friendly and there's security that overseas the area. The area is hot but the fan helped a lot.

Beds were very uncomfortable. Fan made a hell of a noise all night and would not stand up straight Towels were too small Mould on walls that I could smell all the time The Fridge was not even put on before my arrival And no milk for coffee

The room and bathroom was spotlessly clean. Fresh linen and towels. Shower Gel and Liquid Hand soap provided. Coffee, Tea, Sugar and Cremora provided, forore than just 2 cups. 😁 Grounds were neat and well maintained.

Fridge wasn't plugged in, prior my arrival. Being an extremely hot day, I had to wait for my drinks to get cold. Accomodation wasn't equipped with an aircon, however the fan supplied, did assist with airflow. Wi-Fi details provided in the room, was not available, but mobile data signal was strong, so that was not a major train smash.

Super easy stop over... Simple room, but all that you need.

Rufus called me ahead of time to find out when I will be checking in. He was kind and helpful, although he was not there when I arrived - I was greeted by security.

The location is rather undesirable. The curtains do not block out light very well and there are bright floodlights right outside the room - this made it very difficult to sleep. There was loud lawn mowing also right outside the room at 8:30am which I did not appreciate.

Affordable overnight stay

WiFi was too slow to even send WhatsApp texts. I ended up just using my data. The parking area didn’t seem too safe so I didn’t feel comfortable leaving valuables in the car. Nothing happened of course.

Very clean and well maintained. The grass area, braai area and bar was a great place to sit and relax. Our fur baby was with us and he especially had a fun time on the grass area. The owner and staff were extremely helpful and we had a great dinner at Inni Kraal which they recommended. Delivery was also possible.

Curtains didn’t close the entire sliding door space, which made us feel a bit exposed. The rooms are very hot and the fans didn’t help much. There’s no windows to open to let in cool, fresh air.

Place has everything needed for a good stay. Family friendly and nice inviting gardens. Will use again.
