Water runs on to the floor when you take a shower as there is no shower door, and there is no mop to wipe the water on the floor.

The kitchen Needs a major upgrade. Needs more pots, dish towels, bowls for washing food items.

Although we did not make use of it, the apartments have super outdoor braai areas and gardens to relax in .This is a well designed self catering accommodation venue, an excellent place in Colesburg. Reviewed Apr 10, 2026I love the facility. Abigail and Maynard were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and my family and I had a good stay. We were comfortable and we're living in luxury. It's definitely value for money and has everything you need. We were impressed with the sugar, tea and coffee as well as the complimentary rusks and sweets. Even the milk in the fridge was a surprise along with salt, pepper, oil and vinegar. I'll definitely come back there should we have another long trip to JHB from Cape Town. Thank you for the stay!

Everything🫣🙄😏🤥😰 -lets be careful of good pictures on the app, firstly there was on-going construction however the owner said Booking.com knows about, No Aircon( only small old dusty black fan), the cottage is HOT,No housekeeping or Clean Towels or Changing of bedding, No toiletry except toiletrolls,the bathroom is so dirty THE PLACE IS OLD AND RUSTED including the furniture and it doesn't deserve even a fair rate, I think the owner need to finish the construction and take new pics and maybe there can be a good rate. For us, their standard of "cottage" is a disaster. However, they have potential location and view, but they need to improve, a lot

Parking area was a bit tight, but we do have a big vehicle. So it was not a big issue.

Reviewed Dec 4, 2025I read the reviews of the other accomodation in the area and nothing compared to 19 on Kruger. We stayed over for one night in the family room and I can second the great feedback other guests have made. The host was very responsive and accommodating for our late check in. The unit is spotless and comfortable. It's the little things that also count, fresh towels, milk in the fridge, playing cards, 2 fans, ect. We will definitely book again for our journey back.
