Heel mooie tuin met prachtig zwembad. Nette, verzorgde kamer met mooi uitzicht op tuin en bergen. Vriendelijke, attente gastheer en staf. Lekker en gevarieerd ontbijt. Kortom toplocatie!

Если будем опять в Кейптауне, обязательно опять здесь остановимся. Оливер самый радушный и прекрасный хозяин, который может быть. Атмосфера в отеле на столько доброжелательная и уютная, что его не хочется покидать. Место очень красивое, отель очень комфортный, номера и территория выше всяких похвал. Бассейн чистый с хорошей зоной для отдыха. Есть парковка. Завтраки очень вкусные и всегда на высоте! Огромное спасибо, что скрасили наш отдых!!!

Alles was perfect

Gastvrijheid van een buitencategorie. Olivier en zijn personeel hebben ook na 26 jaar nog steeds voelbaar plezier in het ontvangen van gasten. Hoe bijzonder is dat! De accommodatie is bovendien werkelijk prachtig gelegen. De tuin met het heerlijke grote zwembad en de authentieke details van de ruim opgezette lodge met 7 kamers maken deze plek echt heel speciaal. Het houtwerk, het koperwerk in de badkamers. Het is duidelijk met heel veel liefde aangelegd en onderhouden. Als je gevoelig bent voor mooie details en een fijne (zeer veilige) omgeving moet je hier heen gaan. Wij komen zeker terug! PS museum Norval is een aanrader en vlakbij. En wij hebben heerlijk gegeten bij Ember and Oak en bij bistro sixteen82.

Superb pictureque Location in a peaceful setting with very helpful owner and friendly staff

Wunderschönes Bed and Breakfast. Die Lage ist sehr sicher und das Frühstück wirklich sehr lecker. Das Frühstück ist auch im Zimmerpreis enthalten. Oliver, der Eigentümer spricht perfekt Deutsch und ist sehr hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Absolut alles. Das Personal (alle) ist sehr zuvorkommend und hat vorallen ein offenes Ohr (für unsere spez. Wünsche). Bin etwas heikel. Schön ist schnell etwas. Aber hier ist es auch auf den 3. Blick sehr schön.

Uns fehlte nichts.

Ein wunderschönes Gästehaus mit einer sehr gepflegten Anlage und einem großen, einladenden Pool. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen – besser geht es wirklich nicht. Oliver und das Personal hat uns persönlich willkommen geheissen. Sie sind alles außergewöhnlich freundlich und aufmerksam. Von A bis Z einfach top! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wonderful views with fabulous pool and seating area. Our host,Oliver, was terrific and most welcoming and accommodating. Delicious breakfasts served on the terrace by the lovely Fatima helped start the day. A truly exceptional property with delightful staff. We loved it so much we have returned.

Location Space Ideal

Uns hat an der Unterkunft alles gefallen. Wir waren dort mit unseren kleinen Tochter für zwei Nächte. Der Gastgeber Oliver ist ein sehr freundlicher, engagierter und herzlicher Mensch. Er behandelt seine Gäste und Personal mit viel Respekt und hat viele Tipps zu der Umgebung. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einer sicheren Gegend und gleichzeitig kann man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell erreichen. Vom Balkon aus konnten wir abends die Lichter der Stadt sehen. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und die Zimmer sehr sauber. Parken kann man direkt an der Unterkunft - privater Parkplatz. Wir können die Unterkunft und den Gastgeber vom Herzen empfehlen und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das außergewöhnlich gute Frühstück wurde von Fatima mit viel Herz zubereitet und serviert. Das Neujahrsfrühstücksbüfett von Oliver war perfekt. Die Inneneinrichtung der ganzen Lodge und die Außenanlage mit Blick auf den Tafelberg, liegt in einer Höhe,, von der man einen wunderschönen Ausblick über Kapsatt hat, ist sauber und von Oliver mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet worden. Wir fühlten uns wie zu Hause.

Oliver and his small (but lovely) team are simply amazing with their hospitality and providing us with a feeling of being welcomed! The amenities, breakfast and ability to enjoy the tranquility of the swimming pool and location, are not to miss!!

There was nothing we didn’t like

What a wonderful find. Oliver the owner is charm personified. Rooms were beautiful appointed, A great breakfast served by the lovely and so helpful Fatima.. Great pool, good size. Gardens also beautiful with wonderful views.

Nothing I can think of. Bedrooms don’t have a sports station but it’s available in the lounge.

Wir wurden von Oliver und seinem Team sehr herzlich empfangen und verwöhnt. Die Lage ist Traumhaft -ruhig und idyllisch gelegen, sehr sicher, sehr gute Luft, ein toller Ausblick, wunderschöner Garten mit Pool usw. . Es ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Kapstadt und seine Umgebung mit Weinregionen und atemberaubenden Stränden zu erkunden. Oliver ist sehr fürsorglich und hat wunderbare Ratschläge für die täglichen Ausflugsziele und Restaurants. Besonders hat uns auch die liebevolle Versorgung beim Frühstück gefallen. Auch verfügt das Haus über einen Weinkühlschrank mit ausgewählten regionalen Weinen für die Selbstbedienung. Besonders beeindruckend war, dass Oliver extra für unsere sehr frühe Abreise um 5:30 am. frischen Kaffee, Saft und belegte Brote zubereitet hat. Wir können also High Timber Lodge uneingeschränkt und wärmstens empfehlen.

Oliver is a great host; he made our stay feel like being at home! The lodge is a cozy size and is very well located, not far from Cape Town, Cape Point, and the main beaches. The breakfast is delicious and healthy! All the staff at the lodge are always smiling and willing to make your stay unforgettable. High Timbers Lodge is a gem, and we will definitely come back!

Location with beautiful views and lovely garden with big trees. Good sized well positioned swimming pool. Breakfast was amazing with choice and fresh fruits. Staff friendly.

Relaxed from the minute we got there. The whole team of staff were so friendly and accommodating. The other guests that were there had been coming back year after year which is testament to how friendly and welcoming High Timbers Lodge is. Oliver was so kind and recommended places to visit. We stayed there for two nights before we left to fly back to the UK. Two nights definitely was not enough. High Timbers is conveniently based for the travel back to the airport, which took us about 49 minutes. The views were staggering and the area quiet so for us this was perfect. Breakfast was the best , with a large choice of healthy options. I will certainly be back .

There was nothing to dislike

I have traveled to many places around the world, but this is truly one of the most remarkable. The garden and pool area are incredibly beautiful and serene, creating a calming atmosphere. Oliver and his team go above and beyond to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible, with an evident passion for every little detail. If you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the perfect retreat. We loved it so much that we came back after a short road trip. We’ll definitely return someday.

Everything was perfect

High Timbers Lodge is a truly special place. The lodge is tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Rooms are serviced daily and the breakfast is healthy and delicious. The pool area is stunning with beautiful trees and shaded areas with a cityscape view to die for. The serene environment is away from the crowds and has a natural beauty.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about it.

It's a beautiful property, with superb views. The staff are friendly and helpful -- they made our stay a delight.

The facilities were really beautifully maintained and the breakfast was a treat. The position of the guest house was convenient for our purposes and the area was quiet and peaceful. We will be sure to use this guest house again when we need to be in the Tokai area.

In our trip we was in 7 hotels in South Africa with rating above of 9 and this is the best. If other hotels have 9 this should be evaluated on 20/10 Everything was great: breakfast (tastes with great view and cozy kitchen) , location (close to beach and city), room, view from room, all the plase is very clean. Owner of property great, helpful and know a lot abou SA. I strongly recommend this place to stay, it will be excellent experience which add extra impression of SA. It is not simple hotel, it is attraction
