L’emplacement dans le village Hanok. Le jardin, bien qu’il y ait durant tout notre séjour de la lessive qui séchait devant notre chambre nous empêchant de profiter de la vue sur le jardin

Nous avons demandé au propriétaire de nous appeler un taxi à 7h30 du matin pour nous rendre à la station d’autobus et il nous a dit que c’était trop tôt pour qu’il se réveille. On n’a pas apprécié. On a dû se lever bien plus tôt et traîner notre valise pendant 20 minutes pour essayer de trouver un taxi.

The hanok is magical, it feels like a film set. I wish we'd had more time to relax at the hanok, but we were busy exploring Jeonju's hanok village most of the day. We loved staying there, and the owner is so lovely and helpful. The place is super clean too, and has everything you need for a short stay. At night, you pack away your luggage and unfold the futons to sleep, so you make optimal use of the small room. The AC was really helpful, a nice combination with the lightly heated floor. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring all of Jeonju's sights on foot.

If you have back problems, the traditional Korean futons are really tough to sleep on. We loved the experience, but did not sleep much the first night. The second night the kind owner offered us an extra futon to double up, which made a difference. I'd still highly recommend this place though!

Right in the heart of Jeonju hanok village. You can stay feeling as a local, walking distance to the main spots and a bus ride from the train station. Cozy and great. The host is super kind. It has wifi and a nice bathroom.

La camera è veramente piccola per 4 persone, non è possibile aprire i bagagli tutti insieme ma a turni! Il futon è sottilissimo, al massimo ci si può dormire 1 notte non di più

tradizionale e ben tenuta, proprietario accogliente e gentile. Un posto di così bisogna saper apprezzare il valore

Super emplacement, très joli cadre.

Les oreillers ne sont pas des oreillers, des sacs de riz peut être mais tes tes durs. Les futons sont assez fins mais on sait que l’on va dormir sur des futons, mais les oreillers sont très inconfortables. Rien pour se chauffer de l’eau ou se faire un café.

La struttura è bellissima, sembra di tornare indietro nel tempo. Attenzione: si dorme per terra con il futon, bella esperienza, ma la schiena potrebbe risentirne. Il bagno è piccolo, ma pulito e carino. Ho apprezzato anche l'host, una persona gentile e disponibile.

Super accueil de l’hôte qui parle parfaitement anglais. Nous avons eu une petite photo Polaroïd à notre arrivée, en souvenir, et des cartes dessinées par notre hôte. Dormir au sol, sur des couettes, la petite salle de bain impeccable (attention à la tête), au milieu d’un écrin de verdure, le calme, ça restera un très bon souvenir, typique.

Die schönste Unterkunft in Korea! Ein richtiges Honuk Haus. Das Zimmer ohne schnickschnack. In einer ruhigen Gasse und mit schönem Garten zum draussen sitzen. Ich würde wieder dorthin gehen.

Man schläft auf einer dünnen Matratze am Boden. Aber das gehört halt einfach dazu : )

It's a very unique way to spend the night compared to the normal hotels I stayed at in the rest of Korea. It still had all the amenities that we needed and the owner was really nice.

It's difficult to reach the Hanok Village using public transport so prepare to call a taxi.

Very good location and nice old hanok. It was pretty comfortable for 2 nights and we enjoyed out stay.

This place is amazing. It was so beautiful, peaceful and very traditional. The owner is very kind, friendly and welcoming. He can speak some Japanese and English. I and my son were so happy that we could sleep in traditional Korean room and try Korean futon. AC and Wifi worked well. Great value. Highly recommend it!

Como experiencia está bien pero es verdad que no es cómodo dormir en el suelo. Ya no sirven desayuno.

El señor que lo gestiona es encantador, tuvimos un problema con un taxi y se encargó de todas las gestiones. La casa es preciosa y el baño estupendo. El barrio es muy tranquilo y la ubicación perfecta. Nos gustó tanto que incluso nos quedamos tomando algo en el porche por la noche en lugar de salir. Un absoluto 10

The location is good and close to the main street. The owner was kind enough to help us book a taxi to pick us up at the door and take us to the train station.

The room is quite dusty, and the single thin futon that was offered to each of us is quite thin (the same thickness as the duvet). The room is probably better suited to 2 people plus luggage; it's definitely too tight for our group of 3 (this room is also advertised as a room for 4!).

J’ai passé un excellent séjour dans cette auberge traditionnelle et je ne regrette absolument pas mon choix. Le propriétaire est extrêmement chaleureux, bienveillant et met tout de suite à l’aise. Il parle très bien anglais, ce qui rend les échanges très faciles et agréables. La chambre que j’occupais était vraiment très propre et j’ai adoré vivre cette expérience traditionnelle coréenne. Je recommande cet endroit les yeux fermés. J’avais vu dans certains commentaires que l’accès à la salle de bain pouvait sembler petit. Honnêtement, je mesure 1m71 et cela ne m’a posé aucun problème, je n’ai eu aucun inconfort. Il faut simplement baisser légèrement la tête pour entrer, mais une fois à l’intérieur, l’espace est tout à fait raisonnable et pas aussi petit que ce que certains laissent penser.

J’ai testé la chambre solo puis la chambre double et l’expérience a été vraiment très agréable. C’est un excellent endroit pour vivre une expérience traditionnelle coréenne authentique. Le propriétaire est très chaleureux, bienveillant et parle très bien anglais, ce qui met rapidement à l’aise. Les chambres étaient propres et l’atmosphère générale très agréable. Concernant la salle de bain, j’avais vu des commentaires disant que l’accès était petit, mais honnêtement cela reste tout à fait raisonnable. Il faut juste baisser légèrement la tête pour entrer. Le seul point à noter est le bruit : certains voisins peuvent manquer de discrétion, surtout tard dans la nuit. Si vous avez le sommeil léger, cela peut parfois être gênant. Mis à part ça, tout était parfait et je recommande sans hésiter.

Best stay in Korea! Warm welcome, gorgeous traditional house, squicky clean. The location is great in the village. The restaurant recommended by the host, the Hawaiian recipe, is great. I hope to be back.

The hanok was very clean and quiet with a great yard. The host was very kind and friendly and even gave us postcards as a gift. We booked a bigger room so that we would be comfortable we our large suitcases and it was better that way. Sleeping wasn't very comfortable cause you actually sleep on the floor but that's the point of staying at a hanok. Overall it was a good experience and we are happy we tried it.

The property is close to the night market and the hanok village. The host is very friendly and speaks English. The house the amazingly beautiful! For someone looking for a traditional accommodation this is the place to go! + the floor is heated ❤️

Volevamo provare l'esperienza di dormire in un hanok tradizionale e così è stato. Avevamo una camera familiare che consiste in due stanze vuote collegate in cui devi mettere i materassi a terra.

La struttura è piuttosto basica e mediamente tenuta. Lo staff un po' rude: ci hanno trattato un po' male perchè abbiamo fatto check-out 10 minuti dopo l'orario previsto.

The location in the traditional village in Jeonju was great. The host was friendly and helpful. The room was what was expected for a traditional Hanok stay. I loved the heated floors so much. One of my favorite things to do was to sit outside my room in the evenings or mornings and just enjoy the air.

I know that a traditional futon is thin, but I wish it had been slightly more soft. I wish I had an option for a Western style pillow as well. I slept fine, and I did know that it would be different than what I was used to, I just wish I had an option for a different pillow.

ヤンサジェの重厚な木の門は大きくきしみます、ある意味セキュリティには万全です 特別な建物なので多くの旅行者が立ち止まり写真を撮って行きます、時には門前で観光案内のガイドが説明をすることもありますが、これらは特別な建物なので致し方ありません、その環境を楽しみましょう

The house was very sweet. Many people stopped by to admire it. The owner was very helpful and kind. Felt like home away from home.

The hosts are so gentle and sweet. They offered me fresh water and a postcard from jeonju. The room is nice, the bathroom is new and super clean. The floor is heated! I would return here 100%. Jeonju is lovely

This is my second time in Jeonju and in Yangsaejae. I love this traditional house, it's garden, and location. It is quite close to the village main street yet far enough to avoid the crowds noise. The owner is very kind and gave us water and post cards for free.

ロケーションは韓屋村の中心街ではないですが、徒歩でも散策しやすく、静かでとても良い場所でした。また、宿の方もとても親切で、私たちが行きたい場所へ電話で予約を入れてくれたり、気にかけてくれました。伝統的なオンドルがあり、韓国の古民家の暮らしを体験できます。

Highly recommend ! It was the best place I could’ve stayed. Spacious, very clean and relaxing :) It was a traditional quiet spot in the middle of the best area. Thanks to the owner for booking me a taxi as well :)

Staying in a traditional Korean house would definitely enhance your travelling experience. It was genuinely authentic and really felt surreal. The place hosts some events like Korean mask dance or calligraphy lessons occasionally but when I stayed, wasn’t going on unfortunately. The location was also pretty convenient, has some restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Offering towels and toiletries was a big bonus as well. Would highly recommend if you have a night in Jeonju.

The place is located close to the main street so can be noisy at night as tourists are roaming around so better to bring your own earplugs. Other than that, nothing bothered the experience.

The temperature was sub zero. The room needed to be warmed much earlier. It was uncomfortably cold all evening.

So nice and worm, felt basic but it was exactly what I wanted.

Świetna lokalizacja, blisko do wszystkich atrakcji w mieście. Dom jest przepiękny.

Od momentu zameldowania właściciel nie odpowiadał na wiadomości. Brak informacji o wymeldowaniu. Zimą łazienka jest bardzo zimna tak samo jak pokoje pomimo ogrzewania podłogowego i lampy. Nasz pokój był malutki, więc ciężko podróżować z dużymi walizkami - nie ma ich gdzie rozłożyć.

Súper mágica la experiencia de dormir en ese lugar, tiene como 150 años de antigüedad, me sentí como en un ánime, jajaja. El anfitrión fue extremadamente amable, nos dejó guardar nuestras cosas allí tras el check-out y hasta nos regaló bolsas porque vio que se rompieron las nuestras. 😅😅😅

On ne va pas se mentir le futon Coréen n'est absolument pas confortable, en tout cas dans cet hébergement. Une impression totale de dormir par terre car le "tatami" fait en réalité 2cm d'épaisseur. De plus la chambre est minuscule si vous avez de gros bagages c'est impossible de séjourner dans une chambre classique. L'isolation est nulle et il y a des odeurs d'égout venant de la salle de bain.

Alloggio hanok super caratteristico, perfetto per entrare a contatto con la cultura locale e visitare per un paio di giorni Jeonju, lo spazio è adeguato e dotato di bagno interno, non scontato in questo tipo di soggiorni! Host molto disponibile e ci ha concesso il deposito bagagli dopo il check out, consigliato come esperienza!

Le cadre extraordinaire d'un hanok traditionnel dans une partie calme du quartier Hanok de Jeonju !! Nous avons été reçu avec une extrême gentillesse par le propriétaire des lieux qui nous offert l'envoi de cartes postales.

Les futons étaient vraiment très très minces ! Ce qui a rendu les nuits difficiles pour nos vieux os...

L'emplacement dans le quartier historique de Jeonju, l'authenticité de l'hébergement et la gentillesse de notre hôte.

I was outraged and concerned about the accommodation. For information, I arrived on the evening of October 31st between 6 and 7 pm and it was 13 °C outside. Yeah, I carefully read all of the reviews. The room is very small, but I didn't mind. I am a very modest person, a bed and cleanliness are enough for me. If I were to stay here for only 1 night, I would survive somehow. But the accommodation was so cold that I shivered even in warm clothes! The bathroom was even colder than outside! I told myself that it was only temporary and that the room would warm up in a while. Anyway, not even ondol was warm enough. But after 3 hours I was even colder, that I was ready to put on a winter jacket. And that was the last straw for me. I decided to end my stay and left. I didn't want to argue about it as I already felt highly distressed about the situation... It was a very tough decision for me, because I was supposed to spend 3 nights in Jeonju, it was approaching midnight and at that moment I was basically "homeless". But I'm prone to colds and I didn't want to ruin my last week of vacation in Korea. It is sad that something like this is even offered! It is not an excuse that the building is old! It ruined my entire stay in Jeonju, as I spent the rest of my time desperately looking for accommodation carrying a heavy luggage around!

쾌적하고 전통가옥의 평안함과 안정감은 유지한 상태로 시설 또한 요즘 세대에 맞게 개선되어 있어 더욱 좋았습니다 무엇보다 깨끗한 침구가 더욱 맘에 들었던 곳입니다. 도보로 가능한 한옥마을 산책도 너무 좋았습니다

가까운 곳에 주차장이 없어 다소 불편한 점이 있었지만 그런 점을 잊을만큼 좋은 여행 숙소였습니디

The traditional and authentic experience in a beautiful hanok with ondol-heating (which I later read belonged to a famous poet from Jeonju) and the tranquil setting was a special cultural encounter. The room has an ensuite bathroom. The owner, Jae Min, was very friendly and most helpful with recommending a great bibimbap restaurant, and has a great sense of humour. He was also very kind in helping me book my taxi for an early departure.

Sleeping in the traditional style on a mattress on the floor may not be as comfortable as sleeping on a bed for most but still definitely worth the experience!
