We stayed here for three nights. The view was amazing and the room was clean. The upstairs cabins are way better than the downstairs ones.

Disgusting experience. How can a hotel remove the damaged toilet seat and lid and only replace it 3 days after arrival and think this is acceptable. Eventually the entire list of faults was fixed but there shouldn’t have been any faults from the start.

The breakfast was amazing, the staff was superb as well. They were very accommodating and went out of their way to make us as comfortable as possible. I absolutely loved the view and ocean breeze. The pool was amazing and listening to the waves everyday oh I wish I could go back. Place is right on the beach. 10/10 minus nothing honestly.

Breakfast for vegetarian. They took almost 45 min to make a toasted sandwich. Our grandkids were so very hungry. Because they preferred to get food ready for foreigners first. Even though we gave our orders in before the foreigners. Or could be a racial issue.

The breakfast was well prepared with a good range on offer. The B&B is right on the Ballito promenade so quick access to the beach and lovely walk. There are restaurants close by - both walking distance and by car (2-3 kms). A really awesome view. beautiful sunrise photos from our room as well as the deck.

Have no complaints, except that it does not help to have a safe in the room that is not bolted to the wall. Defeats the purpose of a safe, especially when needing to lock away a firearm, which I was not able to do and had to carry the firearm with me everywhere. Other than that, wonderful stay.

Situated in the centre of Umhlanga, the property is close to shops, restaurants and the beach. The accommodation was spacious with great facilities. Secure parking was in the basement with easy access to the lifts. I collected the key from the UPI security office which is close by. There was initially some confusion about letting me have the key as they wanted to phone somebody and my documentation didn't seem to suffice and I didn't have a phone number. There were no instructions beforehand about having to use the security tag for the entrance door, lift etc. which would have been useful. Despite being on the 7th floor, there was quite a lot of noise in the area, particularly on Saturday night when it went on until the early hours of the morning.

An excellent venue in Ballito. On the beach, lovely views and close to restaurants. Staff are pleasant and accommodation clean and comfortable. This was our second time there and will definitely return.

My stay at Vetho house was amazing and most relaxing.  The staff were incredible and ever so willing to assist.  Rooms were cleaned . Service was excellent.  Thank you Vetho house staff for a wonderful stay. Looking forward to seeing you again

Vetho villa has a stunning location. We could park our vehicle in the safe parking spot and walk wherever we needed to go. The breakfast was delicious and served with a smile. Will definitely return for another breakaway.

Breakfast was always mouthwatering, and filling. Both cold and hot meals. The extra coffee was an unexpected extra.

Our stay was amazing. Check in service was exceptional and so easy, staff was warm, attentive and always willing to assist with a smile. OMG, the Sea View was absolutely breathtaking and made our stay even more special. Waking up to the sound and sight of the waves was great. Everything exceeded our expectations and we could not have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for outstanding service, comfort and spectacular ocean views.

Breakfast should have a cut off at 10.30am and not 9.30am as we usually eat later in the morning. However we could have made arrangements but did not. Otherwise no issues

Some parts need an update, new paint here and there on the walls. Rusty bits and pieces of furniture. Needs minor tweaks.

I had not stayed at Vetho house for sometime, I love the location and Vetho house itself, the staff are supper friendly the only criticism I have is that their maintenance is lacking and poorly done. My previous room was immaculately maintained this time there was mold on the bathroom walls, missing toilet roll holder, the fridge was rusted on the outside, there was mold inside the fridge, the door was damaged at the bottom, no milk for the complementary coffee only a saucer no jug, the curtains were not hung correctly so they did not fully close. the blanket provided in the cupboard had a burn mark/hole in it, the paint on the walls is not properly cut in and in sections the old paint is still visible, also at Breakfast there was no butter knife these are small things but it detracts from the experience and even though the room was clean, at times it felt unclean due to these minor issues

Excellent and friendly staff who went the extra mile to assist me, especially as I arrived well before the official check-in time. Their hospitality was greatly appreciated. The only minor improvement I'd suggest is providing more than two coffee sachets in the room. Overall, a great stay!

Lovely location, we had beautiful views from our balcony of the beach. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Staff was so lovely and accommodating. Breakfast was beautifully laid out and delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The only negative comment was that our room hadn't been kitted out with bath towels or soaps. We arrived very late in the evening so I couldn't let the staff know until the next morning - they immediately gave me some towels so it was just an error easily fixed.

The location was excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

The property was obviously once a luxurious guest house, but requires investment to get back there. The bed linen was threadbare, the bed needs replacement and there is mould in the bathroom in places with broken and dirty blinds.

Location is 10/10. So close to the beach and you wake up with a BEAUTIFUL view! The food was nice

We stayed in a suite and the view was absolutely incredible. The location is perfect, situated right on the beachfront and within easy walking distance of several excellent restaurants. The ocean is literally on your doorstep, and you can walk straight through the front gate onto the beach or enjoy the beachfront promenade. The patio is large and spacious, offering stunning ocean views and a wonderful place to relax. The suite itself was also very spacious, with comfortable furniture and plenty of room to unwind. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, this is an outstanding beachfront property with a fantastic location, beautiful views, and comfortable accommodation. We would happily stay here again.

With such a beautiful and spacious patio, we felt it would benefit from a proper outdoor table and chairs. While the lounge chairs are excellent and should definitely remain, there is more than enough space to replace the unattractive and somewhat uncomfortable cushioned benches, which do not really complement the décor. Attention to detail could also be improved. Some basic instructions on how to operate the TV and other equipment in the suite would be helpful, as would information on local restaurants, attractions, and points of interest for guests unfamiliar with the area. Portering services available to negotiate luggage up and down the stairs. These are relatively minor suggestions and certainly would not prevent us from returning. In fact, had these small details been addressed, we would easily have rated this property 10 out of 10. Overall, it is an outstanding beachfront destination with a fantastic location, beautiful views, and comfortable accommodation, and we would happily stay here again.

This is an unbeatable location for Ballito. Right overlooking the boardwalk and ocean, only a few minutes away from bars and restaurants, we would definitely stay here again. The room was large and had a separate kitchen area. Breakfast was great and all the staff were wonderful. The only thing we didn't like was the glass bathroom door.

We loved the location and the ocean view, right from our room. Excellent amenities and nothing could be faulted. The staff looked after us very well and the breakfast omelette and cappochino were excellent!
