It has a real charm about it, the mattress was incredibly comfort but it was the friendliness of the owner that won me over. Incredible customer experience.

Nothing - while initially I thought them not providing breakfast would be less than ideal, they recommended a cafe very close that was gorgeous!!

Had a lovely stay! The room, bed and service were stellar. Walkable distance to harbor and city center and restaurants. The details provided upon checking in were helpful. Highly recommend and would stay again!

Property is beautiful and within walking distance to downtown. Beds are very comfortable. Rooms are quite small but you are warned of that.

James was very accommodating and friendly, the room felt like home with a much comfier bed. I was able to leave my luggage there while I explored before catching a bus later in the day, which was a big help. Loved all the tea and hot chocolate I had on the rainy night, and of course James offered loads of dinner suggestions and things to go do. Thank you!

Lovely guesthouse just outside the centre of Kinsale but a short walk! Friendly host who gave us a quick summary of the town and some recommendations for restaurants and bars. Good size room, comfortable :)

Die Unterkunft lag perfekt, das Auto konnte man gut abstellen. Die Gastgeber waren mega freundlichen und man hat sich sofort wohlgefühlt. In der Nähe gab es gute Möglichkeiten zu frühstücken.

Friendly, close to town

We booked an economy room. The room was as described - it was small so we reduced the number of bags we brought in. The lighting was great in the room and bathroom - bright so you could see what you were doing (hair, make-up, putting in contact lenses) or you could select side lights for a softer glow. The beds were comfy. The decor was very nice. We had a fridge & plenty of tea & fresh coffee. I have mobility issues & Melissa & James went out of their way to ensure we had upper level parking on arrival. Melissa was a wonderful host and explained the flattest route into town. She recommended the Cosy Cafe for breakfast - a good choice, The communal areas in the house are gorgeous. The house is a short walk into the town centre.

I didn't realise how hilly Kinsale is and struggled a bit to walk back up the hills to the house.

The owner is super sweet. Although there's no breakfast included, she pointed out several wonderful breakfast places within a short walk. Our room was quite small, but that was disclosed from the start. There was a skylight in the room, so you'll wake up early. The price is right and it's a fantastic location. OH! And don't forget to book a table at Fishy Fishy for lunch or dinner.

If you can't get one of the parking spots in front of the house, ask the owner where you can park. We parked in front of a house in a spot that looked legal, but the house owner was ready to call to have our car towed and was apoplectic about it all.

Good location with off road parking, a 5 minute (but steep) walk to town. Nice hosts and a friendly welcome. The communal room is pleasant.

The room was very small, it would be impossible to open a normal suitcase on the floor anywhere. The bathroom is very dated, probably around 40 years old. Some shelves or anything really would be helpful, the only place to put anything in the room is a tiny bedside table and a windowsill. Perhaps a normal double rather than a super king bed in the room would help:) Okay for brief stop. Wifi didn't work in the room.

Heel leuke plek vlakbij het centrum van Kinsale. Op wandelafstand van alle lekkere eetplekken, pubs, en de haven. Een prachtig huis met mooie gemeenschappelijke ruimte en kleine maar mooie kamers. Melissa was super vriendelijk en raadde ons alle leuke plekjes aan.

Het bed was vrij klein voor een koppel (denk max 120cm), maar voor de rest was alles top.

The proprietors went above and beyond. We told them we would be late checking in and we were worried about whether any kitchens would be open. They reserved us a table at a wonderful restaurant. Wonderful people, wonderful place.

Premesso che sapevamo che la camera sarebbe stata piccola, adattandoti, godi di un letto enorme, uno staff gentilissimo e simpaticissimo e spazi comuni meravigliosi. Un vero boutique Hotel, praticamente in centro.

The owners are very friendly. The accommodation is very clean with a nice common area to relax in. It is very close to the centre of Kinsale. It’s worth staying here.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und es wurde uns gleich alles Wichtige über Kinsale erklärt. Die außergewöhnliche Einrichtung gefällt bestimmt nicht jedem. Da unser Zimmer aber sauber und gepflegt war, ist das Nebensache. Das Zentrum ist fußläufig in ein paar Minuten erreichbar.

Host gentilissima , simpatica e disponibile con ottimi consigli. Camera e bagno puliti e profumati con tutto il necessario. Camera comoda accogliente. Molto recensione dicono camere piccole ma in verità è disposta molto bene . Casa stupenda tenuta benissimo con 4 parcheggi. Se non trovate parcheggio lì c’è la chiesa dietro con parcheggio perciò nessun problema

Das Haus ist sehr feminin eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Alles ist vorhanden. Das Bett war sehr bequem, wir (groß und schwer) haben sehr gut geschlafen. Nettes günstiges Frühstückscafe ganz nah (Cosy Café), Pubs mit Live-Musik fußläufig.

Die Parksituation ist schwierig. Wir haben trotz mehrmaligen Umfahren des Blocks die genannte Parkmöglichkeit einfach nicht gefunden und letztendlich unten im Ort an der Bibliothek/hinter dem Café geparkt. Die Straßen sind steil und eng.

Fabulously classy house. Guest lounge was very relaxing and inviting. Lovely little touches and unique features you normally get in 5 star hotels. And Free Parking!!!!

Espacio muy reducido, que resulta agobiante. Una de las habitaciones es muy pequeña, no hay sitio ni para dejar las maletas. La amabilidad del anfitrión no puede suplir la falta de espacio.

Sehr freundliche Besitzer, tolle Empfehlungen bekommen, super zentrale Lage. Man hat alles, was man braucht.

Es ist schon ziemlich eng mit zwei Koffern schon sportlich, aber alles machbar.

Room was comfortable and though small it still included a small fridge with a tea/coffee station.

To walk up from town to the property you need to walk up a steep hill. If you have reduced mobility this is something to be mindful of.

We had a lovely time at The K Kinsale! My sister and I are just back from a trip to Kinsale. The rooms were very clean and stylish. The owners were truly lovely. Extra special mention to Shirley who gives great customer service. There is limited on site parking, but free on street parking is available very close by. It’s a little out of the centre, which makes it nice and quiet. There is no breakfast available on site but the two recommendations we got from the owner were close by, good value and both delicious. I would definitely come back and stay here again.

Friendly, helpful and accommodating host. informative with good suggestions. Room comfortable, clean, with use of fridge. kettle and tea/coffee facilities. Bed very comfortable with lovely quality bed linens. Use of exterior table/chairs on sunny evening. Proximity to center of Kinsale on foot. and we were lucky enough to be able to park outside the door

The hill is steep, as advised by the host, but easily doable. Another route less steep available. The slight smell of damp in the room, unfortunately common in older Irish homes. Host made sure there was no damp at all obvious in the room.

Lovely quirky boutique guest house. Super communications and friendly owners. Had our room ready early.

Gorgeous accommodation. Parking, beautiful rooms. So clean and if you book one of the bigger rooms you get an enormous bed!!!

Attention si vous choisissez la plus petite des chambres, elle est vraiment petite : 6 m2 et non 8. Sous un toit en pente. Donc à peine la place de circuler autour du lit et tout juste pour UNE seule valise Salle d'eau très petite également avec rien pour y poser ses affaires de toilettes. Des crochets à minima seraient un plus

Nos hôtes étaient vraiment aux petits soins pour nous. Leurs chambres ont une décoration raffinée et sont d’un grand confort. Le centre ville est proche. Un coup de cœur pour cet endroit.

Wir wurden sehr herzlicher empfangen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll und stielvoll eingerichtet. Alles dort ist sehr sauber und gepflegt . Am Zimmer stehen neben Kühlschrank , Gertänke wie Wasser, Tee, Kaffee, etc. zur Verfügung.

Das Haus liegt ca. 600 Meter vom Zentrum auf einer steilen Bergstraße. Mit Pkw od. Taxi leicht zu erreichen. Von der Busstation am Hafen mit Rollenkoffer und Handgepäck jedoch sehr beschwerlich zu erreichen.

The beautiful, artistic & stylish living room that we could hang out at. Easy parking right outside the house. A short walk to the village centre, although steep uphill walking back.

The location was amazing and the hosts were very hospitable and helpful!

It wasn’t a huge issue, but we thought there should’ve been some way to have blackout curtains so you don’t wake up at 5 AM! But it’s very European!

Our experience was very pleasant overall, the hosts were most welcoming and stayed in touch to help and guide our check-in. The guesthouse rooms are very stylish and comfortable, even if a little small, with a superb location and reasonable rates too.

Our only regret were the somewhat restrictive check-in times, not earlier than 4pm. We would have preferred to check-in at least 1-2 hours earlier and then to be free for the rest of the day. But we were thankful to our hosts when they allowed us to check-in later in the evening instead. Everything else was lovely!
