Breakfast was amazing 🤩 . The owner also provides evening snacks like hoppers or pancakes, and they were delicious, along with refreshing coffee. All the attractions near Mirissa, like Mirissa Beach, Parrot Rock, Coconut Hill, and all the famous cafes and beach restaurants, are within walking distance of this stay.

Das war unsere letzte Unterkunft, die wir tatsächlich nur für ein paar Stunden gebucht haben, um von dort aus zum Flughafen zu fahren. Dennoch hätten wir gerne mind. Eine Nacht hier verbracht. Der Lage war wirklich sehr praktischen ganz in der Nähe des Strandes. Das Zimmer war sauber und es gab einen tollen und großen Schrank (den wir leider für die übrig geblieben Stunden nicht mehr nutzen konnten;)) Es gab nicht nur einen großen Tisch mit zwei Stühlen. Auch ein kleines Sofa war mit im Zimmer. Eine Etage über den Zimmern gelegen war ein schmaler aber sehr schöner Ausblick auf das Meer. Die Gastgeber waren super lieb und haben uns auch die Fahrt zum Flughafen organisiert. Früchte während wir packten wurden uns zum Abschied bereit gestellt. Auch Wasser konntest du kaufen was wir wirklich immer sehr praktisch finden. Wirklich sehr tolle und saubere Unterkunft.

Der Weg zur Unterkunft war durch eine Baustelle etwas versteckt und nicht ganz leicht zu finden. Viele liebe Menschen halfen uns aber dabei :). Und der Weg zur Unterkunft ist einfach nicht der schönste, sehr bebaut und eingeschlossen von Häusern, was wirklich für uns eine kleine negative Kleinigkeit war.

Skvělá lokalita – kousek od pláže. Velmi čistý a útulný pokoj. Hostitelé byli moc milí a ochotní. Na přivítanou jsme dostali ledovou kávu a palačinky. Snídaně byla luxusní a podávala se na terase s výhledem na oceán. Určitě doporučuji!

Понравилось все! Отельчик на два номера, вероятность шумных соседей сводится к нулю. До пляжа 2 минуты пешком. Немного в стороне от дороги. К отелю ведёт маленькая узенькая дорога между зарослями зелени и забором. Есть табличка-указатель со стороны дороги. Благодаря такому расположению шум с дороги не слышен и чувствуешь себя уединенно. В номере у нас было все, что надо. Удобная мягкая ровать с балдахином. Стол, комод, сушилка для белья, кресло, стулья, холодильник, чайник, кондиционер. Вода в душе действительно греется только от солнца, но я очень теплолюбивая, и мне не мешало это. В таком климате было комфортно мыться. Завтракали на террасе с видом на океан. Ну и бриллиантом в этой оправе были хозяева, очень милая семья. Они, как любящие родители, не навязчиво, с заботой, помогали во всем. Всегда приносили после пляжа нам блинчики. Готовили очень вкусные ланкийские завтраки. Мы выбрали именно местную кухню и не прогадали. Они подарили нам ощущение, что мы самые дорогие гости, а не жильцы гестхауса.

Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich herzlich. Sie haben zusätzlich zum wunderbaren Frühstück jeden Tag einen kleinen Snack vorbeigebracht. (Pancakes und einen Eiskaffee, beides sehr lecker.) Die Lage ist super, man ist wirklich schnell am Strand und auch das Zimmer ist schön und hat alles was man bracht.

I proprietari sono tra le persone più carine e dolci incontrate in Sri Lanka, sorridenti e sempre disponibili. Più di una volta ci hanno dato prodotti e merende tipiche senza chiedere nulla in cambio. La camera è basica e dotata di ogni cosa essenziale, ottima per il prezzo pagato!

Нам понравилось всё! Расположение через дорогу от пляжа, но при этом тихо. Номер чистый, места достаточно, хорошая ванная комната, душ комнатной температуры(на крыше бочка),гель для душа, есть место для сушки белья на улице, и обмыть ноги от песка, много зелени. Один раз приходили культурные обезьянки, поели листьев папай и ушли(к нашим вещам никакого интереса). В номере маленький холодильник, есть фен(нам он никогда не нужен), чайник(кофе, чай, молока, сахар). Очень хорошо и тихо работает кондиционер. Стены и потолки белоснежные, кровать, и подушки удобные. Нам очень понравилась эта семья, радушные, приветливые хозяева. Хозяйка готовит шикарные завтраки(мы выбрали и ели только ланкийскую), очень вкусно. Тут всегда можно купить бутилированную питьевую воду(цена как в магазине). А ещё хозяйка приносила после обеда блинчики с бананами, очень вкусные, поэтому чайник в номере пригодился.

I wish i could stay longer there :)

I don't know where all the positive reviews are coming from, but we opened and closed the door. It's too basic and old, and doesn't have the expected view from the room. We did give the owner a tip because we found it annoying and they're not exactly luxury cats, but this doesn't really match the impression they give.

We had a wonderful stay at this homestay. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach, which made everything very convenient and relaxing. The homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious and clearly prepared with care. The host was always smiling and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The hospitality truly made us feel at home. Overall, you get excellent value for the price, and we would definitely recommend staying here!

The only small downside was that we would have appreciated a bit warmer water in the shower.

Incroyable logement, la chambre est encore mieux qu'en photo ( il devrait améliorer leur photo), fiez vous au avis. Tout est bien pensé clim, gel wc, frigo, moustiquaire.. vous êtes accueilli chaque soir avec des crêpes banane chocolat ou hopper.

L’ accoglienza è stata ottima e la posizione pure. Camera spaziosa e pulita con colazioni e merende ottime!

Omg wow, what a stay! From start to finish it was absolutely spectacular. Pradeep and his wife embody everything Sri Lanka is about - incredible hospitality and warmth. From the welcome drink of cold coffee to delicious snacks like egg hoppers, they truly spoiled me throughout my stay. Every morning started with an amazing breakfast and their constant smiles, which honestly made my day each time. The location couldn’t be better either, just a stone’s throw from the beach. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Mirissa. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, amazing food, and the kind of hospitality you’ll never forget.

- Es algo difícil de encontrar, ya que se encuentra en un callejón que al principio es complicado de ubicar. Las instalaciones son muy humildes pero, como dije antes, todo muy limpio.

La familia es muy agradable y te reciben de la mejor manera. El desayuno es abundante y muy rico, todo casero. Las vistas desde la terraza son increíbles y la habitación muy cómoda.

Eine absolute Empfehlung! Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und gleich mit einem Getränk sowie täglich frischen Pancakes verwöhnt. Das Frühstück war einfach überragend! Besonders aufmerksam war unser Host, der uns nachts zur Safari sogar bis zur Straße begleitete und Wasser mitgab. Die Zimmer sind schlicht, aber sehr sauber und völlig ausreichend ausgestattet. Perfekte Lage mit direktem Strandzugang und vielen Restaurants in Gehweite.

Een super fijn guest house met een top locatie en lieve eigenaren! Het ligt vlak aan het strand en heel dicht bij parrot rock en turtle beach, maar ook heel dicht bij allerlei restaurants. De kamer was groot met een fijn bed. Er was zowel airco als een ventilator. Het verbljjf was extra fijn door de eigenaren die super behulpzaam waren en iedere middag een pannenkoek of iets anders lekkers voor ons maakten, naast het heerlijke ontbijt.n Er is buiten een klein zitje tussen de planten en ook op het dak een mooi terras met uitzicht op de zee. We hebben het super fijn gehad!

Wij wisten dit van tevoren en vonden dit niet erg, maar er is geen heet water in de douche. Er is lauw water, maar voor de temperaturen toen wij er waren was dat juist fijn.

Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett, das Essen war lecker, es gab einen gemütlichen Außenbereich.

Durch die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit im Raum war Schimmel an den Wänden und dem Ventilator, dadurch herrschte ein unangenehmer Geruch. Die Klimaanlage war so schwach, dass sie Schwierigkeiten hatte, den Raum zu kühlen, es war nachts aber erträglich. Wir sind daher früher abgereist.

A really relaxing holiday in Mirrisa. Especially the owners of the guest house are so kind and friendly. I will definately recommend this guest house to everyone who will come to Mirrisa.

Tout était parfait ! Le propriétaire a été d’une grande gentillesse. Il nous a prêté des serviettes pour la plage, offert de l’eau fraîche, et même préparé un goûter après nos activités à la mer. Toujours aux petits soins, il nous a servi un petit-déjeuner typique, copieux et délicieux. Il nous a également permis de faire un check-out tardif, vers 14 h, et tout cela sans rien demander en retour. C’était le meilleur hôtel qu’on a fait pendant notre voyage au Sri Lanka.

This was the friendliest host on our 3 week Trip! The food was just amazing and the Family provided iced Coffee, afternoon snacks and really good breakfast!

The host, a young family, Pradeep, Sati and Minugi, makes you feel more than welcome. They spoil their guests with delicious breakfast served on the rooftop terrace and yummy pancakes in the evening. The room is spotless clean and the bathroom and the towels smell good. Highly recommend this guest house to help them build their dream (the upper level)

It’s a hidden gem and the best place that I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka. The hosts are such incredibly kind, helpful and friendly people that it makes your stay so pleasant. Food is amazing. Room has everything you need and is clean. Internet is fast. If I ever visit Sri Lanka again I’ll definitely revisit this place, so worth it!

The host went above and beyond during our stay, we had a lovely and generous breakfast on the terrace (you can choose between Sri Lankan or European breakfast). The room was pretty spacious and very clean. The host welcomed us with lovely iced coffee on our arrival and an extra chocolate banana pancake every night ( we didn't expect that at all) and it was absolutely delicious. This is a lovely b&b run by a family and we would definitely stay again.

Amazing location very close to the beach and restaurants. The room was great with Aircon and wifi was very reliable. The owners are very sweet and kind they made us feel very welcomed. Each morning they made us a massive breakfast which included either a choice of a western breakfast or Sri Lankan breakfast and also included fruit, pancakes and coffee or ice coffee( which was delicious). Whenever my parent and I arrive back at the room we were greeted with sweets and coffee/tea free of charge. We will definitely be recommending this accomodation to everyone know. We will definitely be returning here when we are next back in Sri Lanka. Once again thank you so much

we have tried many accomodations during our stay in Sri Lanka and found out that best option is to find small hotel taking care by the owners. And this is it. Its modest, but clean, safe, good shower pressure, excellent location - very close to beautiful beach, quite far from the noise of the street, close to restaurants /we recommend Hungry Hub/, there is a terrace on the roof with privacy and sea view, laundry service at the basis. Have to say, very kind owners with typical trustworthy Srilankan smile. We really appreciated local breakfast /local fresh fruit, local hoppers-have to try in Mirissa/ pancake and tea in the evening for free.We felt very good. Thank you. Hope the owners will keep this standard. Another point is if you consider your stay between Mirissa and Hikkaduwa, go definitely for Mirissa.

Honestly, i had my doubt when i arrived at the steep stairs in the rain. But the staff ran to help, and it became my favorite accommodation in Ranka. better than looking facilities, comfortable bed, clean washroom, great food, exceptional hospitality. The family (I assume) who run this house is so lovely, especially the lady! They made my memory of Mirissa. Thank you so much.

Excellent stay! Hosts were so lovely and friendly, the room was the best & cleanest we’ve stayed in our entire month long trip in Sri Lanka. The breakfast was delicious, plentiful and with a beautiful view - choice of traditional or western! We were given delicious banana chocolate pancakes and iced coffee throughout our stay - free of charge so sweet and thoughtful. Laundry service was excellent. Wi-Fi and AC was great. Location was perfect - beach over the road, main road of shops/restaurants, 5 min walk to supermarket / pharmacy, ATM right outside, short Tuktuk to secret beach. Honestly incredible value for money! Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

We had a wonderfull stay at this appartment! The hosts are super friendly. And we got the most delicious pancakes and ice coffees all day long and all for free! We had the most beautiful scenery on the roof top terrace, this is also the place where we had breakfast. A very good start of the day. The location is very good, the beach is right in front. One of the main highlights of Mirrissa(parrot rock) is right across the street. And every other highlight(coconut tree hill, etc) is in walking distance. We highly recommend this place!

The hosts were splendid! We’ve been welcomed with drinks and were given pancakes every evening. For breakfast you can choose either Sri Lankan breakfast or more western style. We’ve stayed at a few places in Sri Lanka and this one was the best of all. Rooms were super clean and spacious, had ACs and fans. Very close to the beach. Close to shops. Best value for money.

The owners of this place are so nice, we arrived at 2am and they were there to greet us, breakfast is huge, it just keeps coming and other snacks are given through the day. They really go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The location is right Infront of the beach and the main town is short walk up the road. The guest house is set up on a hill so it's not noisy in the night and the views for breakfast are fantastic

For the price, this was a great place. Quiet, clean, with lots of nice details such as a bookshelf with books that had been left, a sitting area in the shade with flowers, and an iced coffee upon arrival. The rooftop was great for checking the state of the ocean (I’m a surfer) and the Sri Lankan breakfast was fantastic and healthy. More than anything the young family that own and run the two rooms are adorable, honest and helpful!

For this price you can not expect a 4 star Hotel, but as a Homestay for this price there's nothing to complain. The couple who runs that place is absolutely lovely! They serve a good and big breakfast plus pancakes in the afternoon. And when we were out when it started to rain, they came down and closed the raincover of our tuktuk. Small things like that made us really appreciate this place. The location is good as well, you only have to cross the street and you're right at Parrot Rock.

Maybe the bed... For me it was a little short because it has the wooden "thing" at the end (but I am quiet tall) and the mattress was a little to hard for me. But these are very small complaints.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. There were different power sockets for charging devices and the wifi code was clearly displayed. The property is very close to the beach and restaurants, next to the main road but far enough away so that it is quiet. I was welcomed with a drink (my friend joined later) and we were then given pancakes which was really nice. The breakfast is good.

A fantastic stay at this accomodation. The family were very friendly and welcoming, always smiling and made sure everything was in order, providing a brilliant service. Breakfast was huge and always planned around you, they provide a laundry service for a very reasonable fee which was done the same day (perfect) and the room was very clean, prepared on time and was very comfortable and spacious, with everything working as it should. It's located just next to the main beach, and in easy walking distance from the beach bars, but is set back off the main street so it's nice and quiet at night. Highly recommended

Best service we got delicious ice coffee on arrival and ordered them 2 more times later on. We also got delicious pancakes with banana and chocolate randomly, these were free like the ice coffees. The place was very comfortable and we really liked it along with the lady and son running it.

This property is a big 10 for few reasons. Room is quite big and clean. Owners devotion is out this world. Best srilankan breakfast so far. They have laundry service and it's great price. When we came back from beach everything waited for us clean. U get maximum for a 20$ Support local people.

The hosts are very kind and they will feed you with all kind of delicious meals. We took the room with the AC in it which is a must in south sri lanka. Room is clean and the bed is comfortable. Location is excellent, 3-5 minutes from the most beautiful beaches we seen in Sri Lanka. Highly recommended, but really choose the room with the Air conditioner.

Small hotel with just two numbers. Nice and silent. 1 minute walking to the beach. Family who works there are the friendliest people I ever met in Sri Lanka. I came at early morning (matched it on Booking) and easily checked in. Breakfasts are super. Also in the evening they made a pancake with chocolate and some smoothie.

You may expect it looks better. But you never expect how hospitable this guys are. They really want to be sure that you feel good at your vacation.

We love the family like a lot, husband, wife and their beautiful little daughter. We love the breakfast and it were a lot and tasty. They even packed delicious breakfast when we leave early to go whale watching!!! They also served us every afternoon since we arrived and after going out a kind of milkshake and in the evening they made us delicious banana or chocolate pancake. Super !!!

Only because we got the room with fan instead of with AC. And it was bloody hot in the room and you also don't want to go to the beach when it was too hot. Because of this I got to know the struggle this family is facing. They tried hard to save money to put AC in the room, or to build more rooms. For now they only have 2 rooms one with fan and the other with AC. I really wish them all the best of luck in the world so all they dreams come true.

Everything is as it is described on site. The place is small, clean and comfortable. The owner is super attentive and serves you with a welcome juice, afternoon pancakes and absolutely amazing and full breakfast.

You still can hear the main road. But for us it wasn’t a problem

Very nice place with lovely owners near the beach. Room was clean with amazing breakfast.
